Cant say enough good things about grey Bruce pet hospital…. I had to take my little guy in yesterday for an emergency and was excepted right away even tho we’re new patients. Dr Robin was amazing and made us feel very welcome. So glad we found such a great vet

My dog had started coughing in the middle of the night and they got her in in that same morning and on meds.

I cannot sing their praises loud enough. I became a client during an emergency situation on a weekend about 7 years ago. Dr. Gomez was absolutely incredible with my dog, and went above and beyond my expectations. After that level of service and care, I expected a HEFTY invoice, but was surprised by the reasonably affordable total on the bill. I truly thought it was a misprint.
Since then, I’ve gone back and seen other vets that work at the hospital when Dr. Gomez was unavailable, and was equally surprised with their level of care and compassion with my dogs. I always joke about having a tip option on their debit machine because not only are the prices insanely budget friendly compared to other offices, but the doctors and staff are amazing and friendly. I’ve never felt pressured into doing extra testing or treatments, and never feel judged for questioning options etc.
I have power breeds and never feel discriminated against. My dogs love going there for laser therapy (which saved my dog’s leg pain), and it’s like a spa day I swear.
I’ve been meaning to post a review since the emergency situation 7 years ago.

Less than 1 star. This place is incompetent and you probably haven’t gotten the service you believe you’ve gotten. I would cross check your pets vaccine records. Also they charge $10 more for everything vs other vets. Would NOT recommend.:) It’s all fine and dandy service (sure, the humans working are personable, and I can’t speak for everyone who works there, only the vet, vet tech and receptionist that I personally dealt with) but when they say “your dog is vaccinated and can socialize with other dogs” yet don’t provide all vaccines needed/requested (ie.rabies vaccine) …no thx. Will not be returning, I suggest you don’t either.

My cat got Pyometra. Appreciate that she did surgery at the next morning, and she can already go home at the afternoon. Thank you for all the prompt arrangements and patience explanations to us!

We have been with Dr Gomez since the beginning of my pup Mocha's life 14 in a half years ago. Dr Gomez and Patti (our favourite vet tech) have provided such amazing care to our girl and other pets as well. Mocha loved you both very much and was so excited to see you both. Even on her last day when she saw you both she was happy and wagging her tail. You lead with kindness and genuine concern for the animals you treat. I feel honoured to have had such a fantastic vet to look after my dog her entire life and especially in her senior years. During the hardest time of my life I felt looked after. Mocha's final journey was made the best it could possibly be by Patti & Dr Gomez and we are so grateful that you were the ones with us on this day. Thank you for all you do Dr Gomez, Patti, and the team at Grey Bruce Pet Hospital.

No different from any other vet. They are out ragious for price, but what are u supposed to do

Thank you to Dr. Kathy Gadd for her tremendously caring personality and the wonderful atmosphere she created when we had to take our beautiful boy "Scotchy" in for euthanasia on Sunday night. Her soft spoken way, explaining everything that was going to happen and making sure that our little man was very comfortable from pain before his rainbow bridge crossing made things easier. He definitely was at peace.
Dr. Gadd is one of the most caring and attentive vets I have ever met and I have had animals all my life. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a vet.
My 3 star review comes from the fact that during the most difficult decision a pet owner has to make, the cost of $692.was outrageously ridiculous. We understand it is Sunday night however, $692.we felt was pricing families out of doing the right thing for their pet during their final hours. For this reason, we unfortunately have decided that owning another pet is not in the cards for us. Having to make that final decision is difficult in itself but being handed a bill for $692 before the procedure even starts added acid to the wound already created by the hole in our hearts.
The 3 stars also comes from the question that the Vet Tech asked after she took us into the room when we first arrived, got us settled. We were asked if we would be doing any workup on Scotchy when we were clearly there for an appointment for euthanasia. The room was even set up for it with a soft blanket, calming music and a battery operated flickering candle. Workup? Why would you ask such a question. That upset me before the process even began.

Great experience for me and my dog. Great with her, very patient and competent. In and out in reasonable time. No complaints!

I am writing this review on my way home from day surgery (Stem Cell Therapy) for my beloved English Bulldog Cooper, done by the team at Grey Bruce Pet Hospital (which is a 3 hour drive from my home in Toronto). After my dog was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis, and disc disease at 7 years old, I did a deep dive into researching options for his treatment and ways we could support his health, prevent further degeneration, manage pain and provide him with the best possible quality of life for his old age. Grey Bruce Pet Hospital came up as a specialist in regenerative medicine and after speaking with Dr Debbie Boyd by phone I felt compelled to give stem cell therapy a try. Today was the big day and I can tell you that I was incredibly nervous, but the pre-surgical tests to ensure he was fit for the procedure, and meds that were prescribed to my dog prior to surgery to keep him calm (he is very anxious at the vets) made the experience comfortable. I want to thank Colleen our amazing and friendly vet tech for going above and beyond (you were truly amazing!), as well as Dr Amanda for leading a successful surgery without complications, Melissa for all the correspondence, coordination and assistance and Dr Debbie for the thorough consultation before and after surgery. If you are considering any form of regenerative medicine or surgery I highly recommend this clinic. It’s the best service I’ve ever experienced with a veterinary clinic. I will also follow up with another review in 30 days to give an update on my dogs progress in healing with stem cells as it takes time to see the results, but I just couldn’t wait to share and hopefully bring peace of mind to others considering the welfare of their pets. Thank you to the fantastic team that treated my Cooper with love and the best possible care!

Follow up 1.5 mos.post Stem Cell Therapy. My dog has made many improvements over the past month, most notably in his hind legs when walking and just this past weekend he was even chasing his ball! He is less lethargic and more playful. It's small and subtle changes that are adding up. We plan to do IV stem cell therapy on his birthday each year to top him up moving forward. I truly appreciate the amazing veterinary team at Grey Bruce and Highly recommend them!

Cancellation policy isn’t realistic.too expensive.vets are good but price isn’t justified.they try and push things onto you in order to generate more income for their company.new company needs larger sales.

It was an expensive but necessary visit. Dr Cathy Gadd is an absolute delight. Explained everything didn't try to sell me my dog didn't need. True professional and very down to earth.

I personally think they only care about the money they can make have decided to go elsewhere

Staff and animal care are so amazing. Their love and care for animals is outstanding. The new space is awesome and bright and always clean. So happy we can bring Harley and now Luna there.

DR. Amanda and her vet tech were really great. I could tell right away the truly love animals and their job. She knew right away what was wrong. She gave me a plan.some food and prebiotic. Puppy is better and doing great. Thank you DR. Amanda.

We have dealt with grey bruce vet for over 30 years and have always been treated fair the best care for our pets they have never tried to make more money by pushing things on us they suggest but we make the decisions they are no more pricey then other vets to own pets they cost money thankyou to everyone at grey bruce clini

Best Animal Hospital!
I drove over 6 hours for my 2 pups to see Dr. Boyd. Prior to committing to the drive, Dr. Boyd connected with me by phone on numerous occasions, answering questions and providing free advice. Dr. Boyd and her team went out of their way to welcome my pups and make them feel comfortable. She offered ongoing support, shared resources and strategies to help my dogs. My dogs were well loved and received the highest level of care. I could not be happier and I will continue to make the commute for this exceptional experience. Words cannot describe how wonderful of an experience this was and how grateful I am to have found this animal hospital. My dogs are being treated for arthritis, we have seen many vets and specialists, and I finally have hope that they will have a comfortable life. Thank you Dr. Boyd and everyone at Grey Bruce Pet Hospital!

Love love love the staff. Helped basil is whisky get back on their feet in no time. Thank you!

The staff were so great. I didn't have an appointment but they got me in for that day with my granddaughters puppy.
