Very friendly staff at Grey Gretzky. Excellent service at the Pharmacy as well. Dr. Bann does a remarkable job. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Rude and inconsiderate staff at the reception. The lady doctor is in a hurry and barely answers questions.

My 5 year old had to go to the bathroom while waiting urgently and the bathroom for patients was occupied for over 10 minutes. In desperation, my wife asked the reception staff if the child could use another restroom and they denied. The kind lady at the physio reception finally allowed the child to use the staff bathroom. The reception staff is so inconsiderate and lacks basic humanity. Would they follow the same rule if their child was in this situation?

The doctors recommendation is predictable and does not consider any different conditions we may have. She barely stops to listen to us. Her diagnosis and response is almost identical and robotic every time. I am not going back there.

My experience with this facility today was great. They were helpful and had some great ideas for me. None of the ignorance was there that previous people were posting. Great experience.

Had male doctor who openly made comments and made me feel dirty as a young adult on birth control. Made comments about my personal life, was beyond unprofessional with me. Did not want to provide important information for me to safely get off medication and ended up just prescribing me more. I left in tears and went to see a female doctor today to refill my anti depressants and was told I wasn't welcome at that clinic because of that male doctor. I have no family doctor currently and cannot get my benzo's elsewhere so will be going into serious withdrawl. Why was this doctor aloud to speak to me like that and then have others deny me of my right to healthcare? Will be contacting my family lawyer.

Went there for the first time today, Sunday. There were about 8 or 9 people ahead of me when it opened at 10 am.

The line to register moved quickly. The receptionist was polite, efficient, and friendly. The doctor was also efficient, expedient, thorough, and had excellent bedside manners.
I was in and out in less than 40 minutes.

I would highly recommend this place.

Quite disappointed with this clinic. Calling them is impossible. I called one day 150 times during the entire day, thinking that maybe they have many patients and are too busy. But all day long, seriously? I agree that most of the times the rooms are not tidy and are not cleaned after previous patients. I don't think physicians there are really concerned about this, nor is their cleaning personnel. The nurses at the reception counter, better be nice and ask minimum of questions, or else you will get the consequences. Another problem of this clinic is that the communication of results between them and other specialized clinics is virtually non-existant. Several months of going back and forth, arrived to the specialist and he confirmed that no results have been faxed to them. How amazing is that! I had to redo some of the tests so that the specialized clinic has some results. What a "non-waist" of public money. The idea of this clinic is that we should be thankful to have some kind of access to the primary healthcare system. And if we don't like it, move on as there is a long line behind you. And I have the feeling that it is going to get worse!

The phone line either doesn’t work or they don’t pick up. Have to go into the clinic every time to book an appointment. The receptionists can be very rude in their body language (Ofcourse they don’t say anything like that but make you feel as if they don’t care)

Greedy. Expensive costs for notes and any documentation on cash only. Now they aren't renewing prescriptions by fax anymore. You must sit and wait to see a doctor for a refill. Ludicrous.

People at the front desk are nice and welcoming, however the doctors tend to rush the meetings without properly examining the problem. Due to negligence, problems tend to fester; Especially, having to wait an hour or 2 just to even see the doctors. There’s no passion in helping people, why go into a healthcare profession if that wasn’t your intended goal.

Dr.s are good.but the reception and admin staff are nightmarish. They are rude and miserable to the point of extreme unprofessionalism. I've worked as a medical admin. I've done their job in a place that soley dealt with terminal patients.their job is not that stressful or difficult. There is absolutely no reason for the horrid attitudes.

THE STAFF NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!
I’ve been going to Grey Gretzky Medical Centre since November 2020, usually they are fast with walk ins, but today Wednesday, May 18th 2022 was the worst, so busy. I showed up at 10: 30 and waited 45 minutes before I even got into a room. People who showed up as walk ins like myself, got to go before me which is unacceptable, if I have to wait so should they. Otherwise overall great experience the staff is wonderful and the doctors really take the time to listen to your concerns.

Waited over an hour to see the doctor, people with no appointments were seen before me. The staff is rude and disrespectful.

I couldn't get in to see my regular doctor so I stopped in today. This was my first visit to this clinic. The person I spoke with over the phone before I arrived was kind and professional. When I arrived the front desk team was equally as helpful and polite. I didn't catch the Doctor's name but she was fantastic, the pharmacist as well. Overall a really great experience.

My only complaint would be how a number of the other patients spoke to the staff. I was in and out in just over half an hour and in that time I saw a lot of really ignorant behaviour. The staff handled themselves calmly and professionally. Far better than I would have. Kudos to the Grey Gretzky Medical team. Great work folks.

Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would.just moved to brantford not long ago tried to make them my family doctor they put me on a waiting list for over a year (the worst medical year of my life) had a number of surgeries and all files and follow up reports were sent here took them over a year to tell me I'm not a patient.what a waste of time. And not professional at all.you shouldn't feel uncomfortable in a doctor's office. Went to get a medical drivers exam done they fill out the form and complete the exam and 3 days later they change their mind and refund me my money.complete waste of 3 days of coming in at different times.should've let me know from the jump that they didn't want to do it. Specifically Dr. Bann Mahmood I had an issue with up until I met her things were different she's just rude and has this demeanor that she's better than you. My experience with her is so frustrating that it made me put this review in.

Tried to go to the walk in. I arrived at 6pm, the website said that they were open until 7pm. I went inside to be informed that they closed at 5pm. Please update your website

Got there after work at 2: 30 on a Sunday, and despite it saying they are open until 3pm, apprently the doctor does not stay. He leaves at 2pm, unbelievable, had to go to emergency and spent 6 hrs there, absolutely ridiculous,

I dont know how this place is still functioning the all, all of the receptionist especially the one with her hair dyed in multiple colors. No custom service terrible attitude the older one she is Terrible I need to find out where to complain for these three I swear to God they need to lose their jobs I don't wish this on anyone in these times but these 3 that think they own this facility needs to go. My family doctor was to see me for weeks now since I gave birth and each time I go these nuisances give an messed reason why I can't see him just cause they don't want to work the clinic closes at 7 we showed up at 4.55 she says the doctor is gone at 5pm ohh ok. Seriously. Dr Alhadi is gone before 5pm? Hmmm don't talk about if you have to call. I called she says we close in 5mins ok I live beside you I came out my home an walked in while still on the phone imagine she looked at me an said ohh he is gone hmmm

Made an appointment with our 3 month old baby and turned us around because no health card when we have a birth paper number the government gives you when you are waiting on the card. We have been to baby clinics to have shots, been back to the hospital to get checkups with this birth paper and no issues at all. Plus this clinic wanted to charge 40 dollars if we didn’t have a card? C’mon seriously? Thanks but won’t be back. In Canada the health care is supposed to be free not charge 40 dollars to meet a baby for a doctors appointment.

Dr. Bann is amazing, but the receptionists are so rude. I think it depends on which one you get because I have had one of the nice ones.

Receptionist are terrible at this place. As soon as they pick up phone before listening they say hold on and never comes back and if you are still on line they will hang up without listening g to you. How someone would book appointment there if you have family doctor?

Sign says accepting new patients. Very misleading. What it actually means is if you dont currently have a doc they may accept you. If you feel the need to change docs, they will put you on a waiting list doc told me its for people currently without a doctr. Maybe they should put that on the sign. Ill keep looking.

I’d personally give this clinic a negative star if I could. I’ve never had anyone be so rude and condescending.
I called to reschedule a vaccine as my toddler got ill from daycare and was unable to make her scheduled vaccine- I guess it was my fault for calling to reschedule I should have just stood them up.
The lady at the front desk I spoke to got very rude over the phone, and to the point of raising her voice, changing her tone and immediately hanging up on me before I could confirm my new appointment.
I called back and got put on hold several times, eventually I got through to someone who said she’s the manager. She answered the phone rudely, I explained the situation to her calmly she said “ma’am our telephone lines hang up on their own? ” How does that make sense. She again was rude and made sure to let me know she’s been doing this for 20 years so she knows it all.

I don’t feel safe going there to give my baby her vaccine anymore for her health and safety. She’s my first and I’m a first time mom so I don’t want to take the risk. I’m really disappointed because I’ve been going to this clinic for over a year. I’ve noticed rudeness a lot of times but this was the height of it.

I will definitely be looking for another family doctor at this point because I can’t be dealing with the stress of a sick toddler and rude receptionist.

Hopeful with all the negative comments about the receptionist on here, the doctors will actually try to do something about it.

I was visiting family from BC when my son got sick. I brought him in as it was close by. We were in and out so fast and efficiently. Thank you everyone for helping us out

The front reception staff are not wearing masks or are wearing them incorrectly. Even though there is a glass partition, that is unacceptable given the current pandemic situation (May 2021)

Receptionists still don't wear face masks (as of Oct 2021)

The white receptionist lady deserves the negative star. My family doctor Dr. Boon is very nice but i had a very bad experience with that receptionist lady all the time i went there. She is really a lier, very rude and unprofessional. All the time i went there like 6-7 times she said we will call u back today within 1-2 hours we cannt arrange a doctor right now. All the time i waited and did not get any call. After waiting 3-4 hours, when i go to them she would either say ‘we were just going to call u’ or would say ‘i called u but u did not answer’. How it can be possible that one who is waiting for their call will not answer their call.she lies all the time. Is this what our tax paying dollars are going to? The managemnt should fire this garbage lady and put someone in place who actually enjoys their job. That’s ridiculous how she behaved with me all the time.very disappointing where our hard earned tax money is going towards.

My wife called couple of times today. Receptionist put on hold couple of times and then hung up.

Third time when the call was finally picked up then receptionist said, “We are very busy”. Of course you are but question is this is how you handle the calls when you are busy and hold/hung up calls on the patients.

I am sure that there is a long way to go to do Customer Relationship Training for such staff.

Having said that Dr Benn is amazing and great professional but its the reception desk staff that is very disappointing!

Great clinic. Was able to get in to see a Dr quickly and was very thorough. Staff were very kind and courteous. They have a very stressful job. They had to deal with some extremely rude and unpleasant men and were forced to call the police on them after trying to placate them. The woman on staff dealt with the situation very professionally during a very difficult situation.

While my time at the clinic was quick today (Wednesday Feb 13 @ 10: 15am), I cannot say that it was painless. The woman (I'm assuming is a temp, based on her demeanour) working at the front desk was coarse, unpleasant, unfriendly and certainly unprofessional. During my wait, I even heard her sigh and make rude remarks under her breath about patients once she got off the phone with them. I don't believe I've ever encountered such an ungrateful front-line employee who seems to forget that patients in the waiting room can hear her muttering about people on the other end of the phone that she's hired to assit pleasantly and professionally. In the clinic's best interest, please do not consider hiring this obvious bottom-of-the-barrel temp worker if you hope to maintain a positive reputation. If by chance she is already hired as a permanent employee, I implore you to reconsider this choice.

I had a VERY speedy experience, less than 20 minutes, so that was good. But the doctor looked in my mouth for a 0.05 seconds then mumbled some stuff (I couldn't make out a word of what he said) and then he turned to the computer and started typing. I had to directly ask him "so what is it? Strep? " And he said yes, without looking up from the computer. I asked a few more questions, he never once looked up from the computer. I wasnt provided with a note to excuse myself from work - I wasnt even told whether I should or should not go to work. Fortunately, I have enough common sense. But it would be nice if they were just a tad more attentive and a tad more thorough when explaining the situation to their patients.

Never been to the place, phoned to ask if they were accepting new patients. Never spoke to any one. Only heard a message that the person I was trying to call had not set up there mailbox. Then click.
