Grey Harbour Tattoo

I've been here a couple of times. The shop is clean, welcoming, and has a wonderful atmosphere. Sophia has done two tattoos for me. She is an incredible artist and I love the tattoos. She is professional, kind, and very talented. I would definitely recommend this shop and Sophia to anyone interested in getting tattooed. Will be going back for sure.

I’ve now seen Taylor a couple of times and every time is always even more enjoyable. She always makes sure I’m happy and feeling okay through the entire process. I’ve had some silly choices and have never felt judged one tiny bit!

I reached out about a tattoo, they got back to me about what I wanted and proceeded to tell me it couldn't be done.

Ok, I have plenty of tattoos, I know a bit about the art. So I wrote back to change some things and now completely ghosted, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing artists, many style diversity, gorgeous shop, inviting staff. Best shop in the Hammer. Hands down, in my opinion.

Grey Harbour Tattoo is in my opinion, one of the best studios there is! All of the artists are absolute gems & it is always such a stellar & amazing vibe while there. They are truly some of the best in the business & I highly recommend, times Infinity!

All of the artists here are super talented and some of the best in the city.
The shop is run by some of the raddest people who are always super friendly and accommodating.
Definitely the best shop in Hamilton. If you're looking to get a tattoo in the city look no further.

Kinda late to the game here in terms of posting a review haha but I thought I'd make one anyways! Better late than never!

My twin sister and I got matching tattooos this past summer with Tyler Mansey. He was professional, fun and personable and we absolutely loved working with him.

He was also super accommodating - fit us into his busy schedule (we were able to get in within a weeks time, and that's when covid was pretty crazy) I was intimidated at first by the thought of getting my first tattoo but he instantly made me feel comfortable with laid back personality and friendly demeanour. You made this experience super memorable for us Tyler! We will be back!:)

Tyler was an excellent artist and graced me with the dopest lil squirrel on my right tricep. Have gotten so many compliments on the detail and colour work and am SO so happy with the result. Quick and steady, light hand, and excellent conversation to top it off. Thank you so much for the incredible art and my first Canada tattoo, Tyler!

Had my first session with Nic (@sparrow_hands_art) today and it was a definite 5 star experience. He has a great eye for flow and proportions and makes you feel cared for. Bonus points for the beautiful art and plants in the shop creating a relaxed and down-to-earth ambiance.

Had an Absolutely amazing experiencing at the beginning of March at Grey Harbour. Everything from the consultation, to the tattoo itself. The studio is clean, organized, and well managed. They follow covid-19 protocols very well and make their clients feel welcomed and safe. I’m absolutely in love with my tattoo. Steven James was very professional, made me feel comfortable, and always checked in with me throughout the entire session. I very much recommend them, good vibes, calm, clean atmosphere, amazing tattoo studio throughout.

Just had some work done by Mr Nick “Sparrow Hands” Capretta. Not only is this dude hella talented, he’s professional, and down to earth, truly an artist worth one’s salt. One of the best tattoo experiences based on the conversations alone, the sweet art is a plus.

The environment of the shop is really nice, and doesn’t insists upon itself. Nice people, cool tunes and very clean. COVID protocols are tightly in place and everyone was masked up.

Again thanks to Nick for giving me this wicked piece on such short notice. 10/10.

Amazing experience with Taylar! She was super fun to chat with and did an absolutely awesome job designing and executing the beautiful design I wanted. The environment was also super clean, and they did a great job making the new shop look great! I will definitely be looking to book my future tattoo appointments with Taylar and Grey Harbour!

I've been tattooed at Grey Harbour a few times now, and every time has been amazing. The shop is super clean, trendy, and a very comfortable environment. My go to there is Tyler Mansey. Tyler is great to work with, he's extremely friendly and professional. Tyler is a fantastic artist, and has always executed my vision perfectly. I travel there from Toronto and I've never been disappointed. I would recommend the shop to anyone from first timers, or seasoned clients alike.

I sat with Tom, for a portrait of my cat, who passed last year.
He was super easy to communicate with through email and very accommodating when I needed to reschedule my appointment.
He captured Crowley perfectly and I am so in love with this tattoo.
Even though it was on my hand, he was super gentle and I was able to sit still, which says a lot because I squirm when getting tattooed.
100% will return to the shop for more work.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the shop was very clean, all the artists seemed to have a good rapport with one another.
Overall great experience.

I went to see Nick for a Cardinal piece for my mom. I have nothing but absolutely positive things to say. Nick took his time and had me come in to fit the stencil to make sure everything was spot on. I came in the weekend after to have it tattooed. Nick sent me 2 drawings and showed me each night before my appointment. He is attentive, professional and very honest (which I appreciate). Ive never had an artist be so thoughtful as to placing a piece to make sure its just right (body movement, distortion) so im very appreciative Nick was so mindful of this. Going to Grey Harbour makes me not want to visit any other shop in Hamilton after seeing how beautiful my arm looks. Thank you so much Nick for doing this piece for my mom she would have loved it just as much as me. I can't wait to get it finished and visit you for future work. Thank you!

This is one of the most professional, creative and cleanest studios I have been to. I saw Rob Vino at he new location. The shop is full of talented artists. My artist was on time, friendly and gave me a beautiful piece I will be proud to show off for a lifetime. Worth the trip. This is a fresh tattoo, the redness and bruising was totally normal for me.
