I wanted to come on here and express myself by saying thanks again to the services men that worked on my car yesterday. I brought my car in to have a recall fixed and they did an amazing job so thank you them. I wish I got the gentleman’s name that handed me my paper work as he was a wonderful man and very polite.

I had the pleasure of dropping into the dealership to get some help with a tire that had a special piece of metal lodged into it.
As we entered the door to service we were greeted with two very friendly gentlemen asking what they could do for us. We explained the problem and we were told they could start immediately. It was more complicated than thought but the tire was patched and we were soon on our way.
I was so happy to have great service and advice that I will drive back to Grimsby in the future! Keep up the great service Grimsby Chrysler Jeep Ltd. You definitely received an A+ from us!

This rating is based on a few experiences.
Rust Protection at the time of purchase, was lied to by the former employee that if I were to get this protection elsewhere, it would void the warranty, raised with management and was told nothing could be done about it
First Oil change since buying the truck, new from them, they put the wrong oil in
Multiple times I asked for tire rotation that was not done (tires marked so I knew which was were prior to drop off). Instead of simply apologizing, moving to next steps, I was met with excuses and resistance, basically saying they were 100% done and I must've been mistaken, even after calling out they were marked so I knew they weren't done (this handling was by management direct)
Took it for tire balance on new tires, was provided misinformation by techs and service, ultimately stating that the shaking on the truck was "normal" for RAMS and could not be fixed. Had them rebalance a few times, still was not fixed and was told the "reading" was within acceptable range. Other RAM dealers said they would spend the time rebalancing until fixed but this dealership refused that, "because it would cost them too much in time". I took it elsewhere and they balanced them perfectly in less than 30 minutes.
All in all, beware and pay VERY close attn when getting service to ensure they actually complete the work they are charging you for.

I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Sport Night Edition with 13,000 Km. I keep my truck in extremely OCD good condition inside and out. Today was my second time here for an oil change and tire rotation. What a great dealership! Everyone was very friendly, they took the time to listen to any questions and concerns. I will continue to bring my Ram here for all my service and regular maintenance needs as long as I own it! The slowest service department in history! A simple oil change will require them to have your vehicle for at least 6 hours, but usually the entire day. Technician often cannot identify customer issues, so they are not repaired; even after numerous visits. They believe waiting for over two hours for a customer shuttle is acceptable. The agents that work the desk cannot answer your questions but customers are not allowed to speak to technicians. I am actually happy my extended warrantee is almost up and I don’t have to deal with Grimsby Chrysler service department. Funny how some terrible customer service experiences can ensure you never buy that brand of vehicle again. Beware consumers!

Service advisors are dishonest on the warranty policy and misguide you to think that if things aren't all done by the dealer or shop of thier choice your warranty is void which is completely false based off Chrysler Canada warranty policy. HAPPY I Went with oakville Chrysler for my new ram plus I saved almost 6k!

On December 31st, 2021 I purchased my Ram 1500 Classic Warlock new from another dealer. This truck experienced a series of repairs within its first month of ownership, all covered under warranty of course.

Within the past month, mid June to mid July 2022, there was another problem with my truck. Interestingly enough, it was directly related to the “repairs” made by the initial dealer. Grimsby Chrysler made a diagnosis and repair but the problem came back a few days later. In their defence to that, they did suggest there was a “technician error” from prior work and that I should go back to the dealer who caused these problems. I had no intention to return back to the original dealer and fortunately that was heard loud and clear by the staff at Grimsby Chrysler.

Incase anyone doesn’t know, this is mainly due to warranty work billing conflicts as well as relational accountability between dealers. Not discrimination towards any owners of Chrysler products.

Now that I have stated the past and current situations, I hope that it is as clear as possible that I have done my best to describe as much as I can without disclosing any direct details.

Back to my review of Grimsby Chrysler. The professionalism and compassion from the service manager Mike Fox and assistant service manager John Powell are truly what I have come to expect from the majority of Chrysler service departments. These relationships are a huge contributor to why myself, family members, friends and coworkers are all multiple time Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram owners. Rather than making this repair a quick fix like the last dealer did (except without the quick part), they took the time to diagnose and repair my truck the right way. With this response, I have regained peace of mind ownership of this truck and look forward to driving it or using it how I intended.

I am an automotive enthusiast and have been since a young age. The service department at Grimsby Chrysler understands that and involved me throughout the process. They were transparent, as well as thorough about what was going to be done. I assure you that they cut no corners. After the fact as well, Mike followed up with me two days later to see how I am doing with my truck since I picked it up.

I look forward to working with Mike, John and everyone in the service department for years to come with my vehicle, as well as any one else who asks about Grimsby Chrysler in my walk of life.

After using their service department for my last 2 vans I will not be coming back. For my last oil change and tire swap I was told that:

1. My back wiper arm was broken and needed to be replaced (but it works fine)
2. I need a fuel flush even though I had a full service with spark plug change 20kms ago
3. Lastly the cabin filter was absolutely filthy even though it was just changed 3 weeks prior to my visit.

It's like the service department gets commissions. I am now questioning all of my past work done on my van.

Best part is that I get a call to discuss my service the next day, I told the rep everything I just wrote above. She told me that the service manager would be calling me about this. One month later and no call, so I have no choice but to leave this 1 star review.

Probably one of the most pleasant and painless automotive purchases I've ever made. I emailed Patty on a monday morning with some questions about a vehicle on their lot, got prompt and accurate correspondence. I went out later that night to take a look and drive the vehicle, while Patty took my dog for a quick walk, gave her some water, etc.
Came back, sat down, had a deal and handshake within 3 minutes. Picked up my new Jeep a few days later.
If you're in the market for a Jeep, go see Patty in Grimbsy. I drive past at least four dealerships on my way there, the service is that good.

I had new tires installed plus the transmission fluid changed. The staff were courteous and mechanics did a great job. I was very pleased with the mutual agreement we had on the final cost due to some misunderstanding on both sides.
I will continue to deal with grimsby Chrysler in the future.
It was a pleasure to deal again with the service manager. He understood my concerns and fixed the issue to my satisfaction. Keep up the great work at Grimsby Chrysler. I will continue to bring my Ram pickup in there for service.

I purchased a 2020 Ram Classic about 18 months ago. Although I had a few silly issues with the truck (nothing major). The sales manager was great and Mike Fox the service manager and service desk staff were awesome. Went above and beyond to help out and even helped out on an issue that was created when I had an oil change done at Jiffy Lube (tip get your oil change done at the dealership). Purchasing a vehicle should always be an easy process it's how the the dealership stands behind that product afterward that counts and Grimsby Chrysler has done a great job. I will certainly make them my 1st stop in the next year or so when it's time to trade in for a newer one. Just waiting on the electric trucks now. Thanks Mike

It was my first time buying Jeep and I have to acknowledge the great staff at Grimsby Chrysler, especially Kelly the sale representative. Kelly was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was looking to purchase, answering all of my many questions. She was attentive, rational and poised throughout the process. During the test drives of different models she was an active listener, which in turn helped me make the right decision based off my needs. Her communication skills were 5-star - she even answered questions on Sunday morning (likely her only day off).
From the start of the process, I knew I wanted to work with Kelly to get a new Jeep. During the “closing stage” she worked with her manager to get me a great deal.

If you are looking for a FCA vehicle I would recommend Grimsby Chrysler & ask for Kelly.

Paid to have my tires installed and there were not installed properly and as a result nearly caused a major accident on the highway. When contacting the dealership there was no response and no solution. They lost a customer and my business. They had no intention of responding to the poor quality installation that could of been much worse. Ended up going to a GMC dealership to have my tires properly installed. PATHETIC SERVICE

The Service team at Grimsby Chrysler are great! They genuinely do their best to support any issues you may have with your vehicle.
The reason I gave a 3 star, is because I visited them based on a water leak issue end of last year and their initial solution was inaccurate. They still charged me for the visit. Months later, the issue persisted and I called back to let them know. Also filled them in on research I had done on blogs as well as speaking to my Master Mechanic cousin. They then re-assessed and scheduled another visit. They brought in Leak Pro to fix the problem, but was unable to guarantee additional damage from the lingering issue.
This is worrying to me. My expectation was at the dealership level, they would do their best to ensure I leave feeling comfortable. I am not, I am still nervous of damage caused based on delays getting to the real problem.
Again, really nice people and they do their best.just a little disappointed that I left still nervous and uncertain of future issues I may face, based on the original problem.

***update***
Just left another visit.
Called 2 wks ago to make an app for yesterday "when I get in my car in the am, I feel the wheel is sticking or having a tough time rotating, not sure what it is. Feels like the brakes might be locked. " On Tuesday, I noticed a lag when driving. Figured I'd get them to check that too.
Got there and told them about both problems.
When I got the quote yesterday, it included everything But the wheel sticking issue. $2100 and did not address the problem. This is very frustrating. I had to remind them to check the original problem.so they hung up and called back 45mins later. It was a good new/bad news scenario. Good = we found the problem. Bad = additional $510. Now up to $2610 + $150 diagnosis + tax. Of course, I was made to feel pressured to make a decision immediately. "it's on the hoist, so what would you like to do? " I thought about it and decided on Just fixing the initial problem. We agreed it would be $510. Get there to pickup my car and it's $780.
What a battle.
I would strongly recommend getting a 2nd opinion, before committing to do work with them. There is a Real sense of "we have his car, now legs make some money off it. " I Never felt they were simply trying to offer good service and make me happy.

Basically, I went in one day in the middle of January and I had them replace battery on my key fobs, the people serving me there were extremely friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this place called, Grimbsy Jeep Dealership, they are the best within the Niagara Region.

We went to the dealer for service when our check engine light came on and we were charged $166 for them to diagnose that we needed a new battery. The new battery at Costco didn’t even cost $166.

Why not post prices or tell in advance what things will cost? The whole experience felt dishonest. My partner told the mechanic he suspected it was the battery and the mechanic asked if he wanted him to check…$166 for him to say “yup, you need a new battery”.

We were disappointed. I contacted Dodge to express my disappointment and didn’t hear back. Just want others to know to explicitly ask in advance. OR for about $60 you can get your own machine off Amazon and diagnose yourself

I bought my first Chrysler Pacifica from here. Staff is super amazing and they don't rush you to buy something. There was no hidden fees and it was only the car price which you will be asked to pay. Also the pricing is something which can't be beat. I worked with Patty and she was very responsive and helpful with all my queries. I really recomend to check their inventory if you are looking for any Chrysler Jeep Dodge or RAM.

Took my vehicle in to have an electrical issue taken care of. I was greeted with a smile and tended to in a timely manner. The staff were very courteous and kept me abreast of what was going on. I have always been happy with the service I have received at Grimsby Chrysler and would not go anywhere else.

My daughter also has a Chrysler product. She took into another dealer when she had an issue with it and all she got was the runaround. Now she takes it to Grimsby Chrysler for service and she couldnt be happier- the staff there do everything they can to help their customers out- they go above and beyond what is required of them to make sure you leave a satisfied customer.

Just picked up my 2021 Jeep Rubicon today and felt the need to share this amazingly seamless experience I had at this location, mainly dealing with Dylan Pupo. From the moment we entered the dealership, Dylan was so professional and had so much knowledge on the inventory information. There was never a feeling of stress or that he was pushing the sale, he was calm, open to all questions and was very personable. He answered all our questions, helped us see the bigger picture with new and used vehicles and left us with enough information to make the decision. After reaching out the flowing day to Dylan, he responded promptly and paperwork was done immediately. Mo in financing was a pleasure as well and when I picked up the jeep, I was in and out of the office within 15 minutes, paperwork in hand.
Dylan explained all details of the car, was genuinely excited for me and as I left, he waved and welcomed me into the Jeep culture.
Well done Jeep team, your employees are what make these experiences happen.

Grimsby Chrysler service department is amazing, great people, great service. Anytime I have to use another dealer I appreciate the service I get at Grimsby Chrysler. So much that I refuse to go elsewhere now. The team in service has always been exceptional, they work with me and my vehicles to find solutions and make sure I’m happy, and my vehicles are well maintained and trouble free. Mike, Carla and Shane (and the techs, sorry I don’t have their names) ALWAYS make my experience a good one! I have seen them deal with difficult and rude customers and it’s always done professionally, they are the reason I come back, and the reason I take my vehicles only to Grimsby Chrysler for service. Another dealer service department where I booked in for an oil change recently had my vehicle in for 2 hours while they were aware I was waiting for it, the service advisor then came to me with a laundry list of issues the tech had found…. Estimated work with parts would have been close to $2k, and then they started to criticize whoever had completed the work in the past, saying they didn’t do this or they forgot to put a bolt back, and didn’t care to explain what needed done and what could wait, it was just $$$ in their eyes, so aggravated with how long I’d been there thus far and how they were SO unprofessional I told them not to do any additional work and I decided to take the vehicle to Grimsby Chrysler service. After a 2 hour wait they still hadn’t changed to oil! I got out of there as soon as I could, called Grimsby Chrysler that told me to bring the vehicle in right away so they could look it over. The service team welcomed me got my vehicle in ASAP, and came back to me with a plan on what needed to be done and assured me that it wasn’t as bad as the other dealer made it out to be. I left as I always do, satisfied, and confident that my vehicle had been properly serviced. I can’t say enough about these people, it makes me happy to know that every time I need service that it will be a fabulous experience at Grimsby Chrysler……great job guys and thank you for everything you do! Brought my two year old truck in for persistant abs and traction controll lights. Met with arrogance and incompetance. Truck still isnt fixed and after they told me truck is safe im now driving with no 4x4 no traction control no abs and told by dealer principle to go somewhere else due to tone of my message (pleading them to fix before someone gets injured or ill have to get a lawyer invlolved). I will tell anyone i meet about my experience

I started hearing a knock in my 2018 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel with only 61,000kms in October of 2020. Brought it in to have it inspected and get a second opinion. 2 days later I get a call From Mike telling me the motor is defective and I am getting a brand new motor with full warranty. FCA is having supply issues on the new Ecodiesel motors. I was originally told I would have the truck back in December. December rolled around and I was notified they have been pushed back to February. Its now February and I was just informed that they have been pushed to late April. 7 months from when I dropped the truck off. Mike, Shane, Karla and the rest of the service personnel were very helpful and are excellent at their job. They helped me get a rental that fits my needs, helped me get my oil undercoating done even though my truck was grounded and not drivable. Whatever I needed they accommodated it and went out of their way to help me. I have had 2 Ram trucks in my life, always taken them to Grimsby Chrysler to get serviced and will continue to have them serviced here.

Now comes the reason for the 1 star review

When I first found out about my truck in October the sales team asked if I would consider "jumping" into something else. I said I would consider it if the numbers were right and they could find a similar truck as mine. At the time they had no inventory of Longhorns similar to mine. They found some elsewhere on different lots but they weren't offering any attractive deals or discounts. We then start talking trade in value numbers. Which were originally so insulting I will not post them in this review. Stating the truck has a second motor and "Would you want to buy a vehicle with a second motor? " To elaborate on that comment I will tell you that the Motor failing was not my fault. There are currently 3 other Ram 1500 Ecodiesel's parked beside mine waiting for new motors as well. All the same issue. The other point is the new motor being installed has a full manufacturer warranty of 3 year or 160,000km warranty. So why am I being told my trade in value is being tainted because of a manufacturer defect (Lemon) ? I leave the dealership that day very irritated and upset. 5 months later in February, about a week after I was told the new motor got pushed back to late April. I received a message from Grimsby Chrysler sales team. "Hi, James, just checking in from Grimsby Chrysler. We've got a special loyalty offer for you". I book an appointment, thinking maybe they've come around on a better offer and an increased trade value. I show up yesterday only to hear the exact same stuff I heard 5 months ago. "Blah blah blah 2nd motor. Blah blah blah "would you want to buy a vehicle with a second motor". "Blah blah blah the longer your truck sits here the more it depreciates. Blah blah blah sorry we have nothing better to offer you. " Why would they contact me regarding a better offer if no better offer was on the table. It was insulting, a complete waste of my time and very demeaning. I feel the sales manager is purposely throwing me lowball trade in offers because he knows my truck is grounded and knows its going to be a long time before I get my truck back. He probably thinks my hands are tied, knowing I'm going to be stuck with this rental for a lot longer. Probably thinking this SOB hasn't had his vehicle in 5 months, lets send him a message and see if he's getting desperate.

I know Grimsby Chrysler has had nothing to do with the new motor replacement being pushed back month over month. This review is not regarding that. This review is solely based on the sales team that I dealt with. This has NOTHING to do with the maintenance and service team, as I clearly stated in this review.

I feel if I had brought my truck to Taylor Chrysler where I purchased it. Or even Oakville Chrysler where I purchased my first Ram pickup. Their sales team would have had better advice and would have offered me better incentives and deals.

They were not interest in making a sale. They were almost annoyed that we asked them to check their inventory for what we were looking for.so we walked out and bought a new vehicle elsewhere. Very poor customer relations.

Really enjoyed my experience at Grimsby Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Nathan was my sales associate who has an excellent no pressure attitude. He pushed for the best deal, had all the paperwork ready, and was very easy to chat with. I've been a Ford customer for 8 years and Grimsby Chrysler Dodge Jeep has completely flipped me!

I had new tires installed plus the transmission fluid changed. The staff were courteous and mechanics did a great job. I was very pleased with the mutual agreement we had on the final cost due to some misunderstanding on both sides.
I will continue to deal with grimsby Chrysler in the future.

On the business side I had an equally good experience with Rachel. The whole interaction was relaxed and very reassuring that everything was being taken care of. From start to finish I’m very impressed with this dealership.

Have had all my service on my Ram 1500 done at Grimsby Chrysler. Friendly, professional service, always on time. Any requirements were explained prior to proceeding. If an issue wasn’t urgent, I was advised it could wait for the next service interval. Highly recommended.

Nate was very efficient and effective at being able to handle my purchase over the phone and through pictures due to COVID. I greatly appreciated his and the entire teams efforts to not only accomodate the transfering of two vehicles to them, but also with plates and licensing. Hands down a phenomenal experience.

I have a couple of comments that might improve the comfort of future service customers. The trailer for service customers to wait in was COLD. In fact it was so cold I stood outside for 20 minutes as it was warmer in the sunlight than in the trailer even though the outside temperature was below zero. When I was in the trailer even though I was sitting near the single heater it did virtually nothing to warm up the interior. The TV also did not appear to work (the remote control would not turn it on) and I wasn't about to start pushing buttons on it. The lights in the trailer were not on (not sure if they worked or not) but essentially what you had were 3 or 4 people sitting in a dark cold trailer looking at each other. Maybe it's because of COVID but there was an empty tray with no snacks and no coffee available. I finally walked across the street to A&W to get a coffee and warm up. I can't imagine what it will be like in mid-winter if temperatures are like -15. Overall not a very good experience. I realize COVID is causing a lot of disruptions but I don't think it is too much to ask to at least have some decent heat in the building, the TV working and the lights on.

I was looking for a 2020 Dodge Ram and happend to find one on grimsby Chrysler’s website. I called and immediately was talking to Nate about what they had in stock. He sent me pictures and within hours I gave him a deposit over the phone. This was a no hassle transaction and they had the best price no doubt! I live over 200kms away and would visit this dealership only from now on out. When I went to pick up the vehicle I dealt with Mo for all the financing and he was thorough and I also purchased a extended warranty. My new vehicle is perfect and I would recommend them to everyone I know.

Ask for Nate and if your purchase Mo will take good care of you from there on out!

Ps I visited 4 dealerships before coming across this one and am very satisfied!

Staff at the dealership are great, very friendly and quick. My visit was not for buying but for getting a check engine light diagnosed on my 2013 Chrysler 300. I dropped the car off Sunday night to be looked at first thing Monday morning. First thing Monday morning I got a call saying that it might take a few hours to find the problem at a shop rate of $115 an hour. It was expensive but I figured being the dealer they would have the computers and tools to find the problem which other mechanics would not, so I said yes. They had my car all day Monday and Tuesday and the final result is they where unable to find out why the check engine light was on and I was charged $410 and drove away with no new knowledge of any kind on the problem. Hard to pay that amount for nothing and not feel cheated. I think most other shops would have just charged me a diagnostic fee at most considering they never found the problem. Keep in mind I didn't bring the car in with the codes wiped. The check engine light was on when I delivered the car to them. For repair work I would recommend going to a private garage as it seems the dealers computer readers don't seem to offer any advantage over a private garage.
