I would recommend Grimsby Hyundai to anyone living in GTA/Oakville/Burlington/Hamilton/Milton area. Very professional and most importantly highly transparent people. This was the ONLY Hyundai dealership that did not try to fleece us with the CDN$ 599 that Hyundai has allowed them to charge on various pretexts in view of the high demand of their cars. We were forced to buy some extras, but they were nice enough to change this extra from useless Tyre Protection to Window tint.

Update: 11.24.2021 - The morning prior to heading to retrieve my new car, I received a call from Mario Bruno - GM. He was very pleasant, apologetic and clearly again reiterated the events that happened. He acknowledged the error and owned it as a business rather than individuals. This was greatly appreciated and respected. His attitude was positive and it was clear he wanted to salvage the reputation and experience. After our conversation, Mario and I were able to come to a resolution and move forward amicably. Upon arrival, I worked with Jayson who was helpful and pleasant; as well as had a conversation with Frank again who elaborated on the issue, apologized and tried to salvage the experience. The communication from Mario is what has truly saved this experience for me. While the situation may not have been able to be avoided after the initial miss, the approach Mario took towards resolving it is kind of what I expected initially. I would consider returning as I would suspect they would be more cognizant of the possibility of this error in the future and know I can trust Mario to err on the side of customer centricity and transparency.

I recently ordered a 2022 Hyundai Ioniq Ultimate from this dealership. I worked with an employee named David. He offered me $1000 incentive to get my business an hour and a half from where I live and purchase with them. I took this opportunity and the experience was great, until it wasn’t. I waited 8 weeks for my vehicle to arrive and 24 hours before picking it up they said they made a mistake and the price increased by $1850. I spoke to David who spoke to management. No one called, so I ended up calling and speaking with Frank. He heard me explain the mistake that was made but did not offer any solutions. He said he would talk to the general sales manager and when he called back, again, nothing they can do. They identified that they were accountable for the mistake but could not offer any solutions other than pay the difference or walk away with no vehicle. I work in manufacturing and if my company ever made an error, the client would never be responsible and would have to eat the cost. I had already changed my insurance and purchased winter tires for this car. They did not care and did not offer anything to make a gesture of remorse. The funny thing is, the original contract was signed by not only David, but Frank himself who said that the error could have never been found until the car came in. When I was waiting on hold to resolve this issue, the recording boasts about the transparency and integrity of this dealership - ironic. I had previously recommended this dealership to friends and family; I was wrong. Do not go to this dealership because you may think you are getting a “great deal” only for it to be stripped away 24 hours before pick up and then essentially told we don’t really care if you buy from us and you can walk away.

Last week I had an amazing experience at Grimsby Hyundai dealership thanks to sales rep Lucia. She was very attentive, personable and professional and made me feel comfortable and in control of my purchase as I walked out the dealership with keys to a 2019 turbo-charged Veloster! The car has been a blast to drive so far so if you’re considering purchasing a Hyundai I recommend that you speak to Lucia.

This is by far the best auto dealership I have dealt with in years. The salesman was knowledgeable and straightforward. No misleading charges and no pressure to buy fresh air! This will be my vehicle supplier for years to come - thanks Chris you made my day!

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Grimsby Hyundai and my sales consultant was Zak. He managed to find me the exact vehicle I was looking for at a very low mileage and it hadn't even been placed on the lot yet! Not only that, I needed a rental and he was able to help me out with my rental fees while I waited for my new car to be ready. First off if you have not seen the new Hyundai Palisade - check it out! It has all the features I could think off and at a much lower price. Off course you wont get the engine like Audi but its worth the money! I spoke with Chris at Grimsby Hyundai and we immediately had a ‘meeting of the minds’ when it came to the kind of driver I am and the kind of car I love to drive - so much so that even after only a few minutes on the phone I felt comfortable giving him a deposit to hold the car I was interested in. Although I didn’t end up purchasing that Veloster Turbo, Chris completely understood and was happy for me all the same and immediately refunded the deposit, calling to make sure I received it. You can’t ask for more when it comes to customer service.

I wanted to test drive a 2016 Hyundai Veloster at this location. Chris Nicholl was very welcoming, explained everything very well. Once I got back from the test drive I realized that I wanted the Turbo version of the Veloster which unfortunately the Grimsby location did not have at that time.

I recently repatriated from Europe to establish an eastern Canadian office for our Calgary company. We purchased a vehicle from David V.of Grimsby Hyundai but we needed to obtain an Ontario RIN for an out of province company. This was not an easy task with Service Ontario and took 3 visits to Service Ontario and David accompanied myself each time - he even came in on his day off to assist. Eventually we did get the car registered and plated. Grimsby Hyundai and especially David V.stepped up to the plate and provided excellent support and service through out the entire purchase process. A few weeks ago my husband and I purchased our second Hyundai from Grimsby Hyundai. We loved our Elantra, however; this time we traded it in for a 2022 Tuscon. So roomy and what a ride! This was my first experience in buying a car since my late husband always took care of things. I did lots of research and knew the Hyundai Tucson fit my requirements. We had a great experience at Grimsby Hyundai. Full COVID safety precautions were taken. Dakota was friendly, knowledgeable and patient as we assessed different EV and hybrid options. We landed a great EV deal and had the vehicle within a week. Very impressed with Hyundai's electric line up.

Had a great experience with the grimsby Hyundai team, they made the process very easy and were professional. I dealt with Mark Jaworski who earned our trust and was very helpful. Mark was a no pressure salesman who helped make this big decision easier.

This is my second Hyundai and the first time dealing with Grimsby Hyundai. We were 'just looking' early on a Saturday morning and even though we got there before they had opened; we felt very welcomed and not pushed towards a specific car.
