They took me in without an appointment, I was thinking of just a simple fast cut but he took the time needed to make sure I looked good and man, I honestly haven't felt so good looking in a damn while.

Staff is awesome and I'm really thankful for taking me that day, next time I'm making an appointment and getting the full deal.

Came here twice. First time with Nigel. I was a bit late for my appointment however he was understanding and still went ahead to give me a haircut. He did a really good job in making feel comfortable especially since I deal with dermatitis on my scalp. Very attentive and made sure I left feeling satisfied. Second time today I had Chris cut my hair and I had one of the best experiences I've ever had. He was very gentle with my scalp and made sure I was doing okay. He was very attentive and focused and really paid attention to detail. His passion shows in his work, I was very satisfied with my cut. It was probably the first time I've been to a haircut where my scalp isn't burning if anything the product he used was very soothing and relieving. I'll definitely be back again for my next cut!

I have been a client of Nygel's for over 20 years now, starting in the early days. Not only have I had the best haircuts than anywhere I've gone to in the country, but his skills, service and amazing atmosphere cannot be matched. Even when I lived out of city, and other provinces I timed my haircuts with visits so that I could get my cut here. I wouldn't trust anyone with my hair or style, or new recommendations other than Nygel and the Groom for Men staff.

Great service and they are super friendly and caring. My son is 13 and this was his second time here for a cut, he also brought along his friend to get a cut as well and they were super happy with their styles. They both said this is where they want to come all the time now.

Updated review after 1.5 years gets a hair cut here. Kris is excellent at hair cut; I move to live in Toronto for almost a year now I still come back to this place to get a haircut with my fiance. Everyone here is nice and friendly, and the haircut is away; come out 10/10. I never have any issues or not happy with my haircut from here

One of my favourite spots. I normally travel to and fro Toronto and Hamilton but I always make sure to have a haircut in Groom!

I haven’t gotten a haircut in 2 years and had a mop on my head cause of it. So I showed up to get a trim from Angel cause all the boys go to him and he convinced me to clean up and take it all off again and I couldn’t be happier thanks again

Angel is a beast, he has very professional service during times like these. Charges reasonable prices, gives quality cuts, and still gives amazing services. I would definitely recommend him if you need a new barber.

There is a really good barber there called Angel. He is really attentive to his customers needs and also makes his customers very comfortable. I will definitely come back and and let others know about such a good and welcoming barbershop.

These guys never miss. If you want a hairstyle they can do it just from a picture! Really happy with the haircut would go back again.

Decent place. Student discount available. I visited last week in covid season and found out that they are taking good precautions. Some people may don’t know that there are different rates of individual hair stylist. If you are lucky, you may get parking spot right in-front of the shop else it’s headache. I’ve good experience since last 3-4 visits.

The best place to go and I mean it. Man cuts my hair for over an hour. Took his time like he was cutting his own hair. I'm not only pleased, I'm now convinced these other places I've been are all a joke. See you guys again soon.

Hamilton's best Barber shop. Proprietor Nygel Dory and his team of experienced and innovative men's stylists are friendly and make for a great experience. Nygel also understands the value of training apprentices to keep this noble trade alive and thriving. Kudos to his forward thinking.

Been here couple of times before and my last visit was after months. I am totally disappointed! The cut is not even! One side long other side short. Now i ll go another place to have it even. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Best barber in the city. Just loved the ambience, customer service and their wonderful staff.

Great barber shop. Nigel is the owner and a great guy, known him for many years, he knows his stuff. Have tried several of the barbers and I think he only brings in people who are quality since all I tried have been good. My favourite though is Judy, she does a great job and cares about the quality she does.

The place is in a decent location too, surrounded by some really good coffee shops and restaurants so you can always end your trip with a good meal or a chill study session (while showing off your fresh cut of course).

Make sure you HAVE to book on their app ahead of time since they are always really busy! It's a lot more chill in the summer time tho:)

Easy and relaxed atmosphere. Barbers are attentive, skilled, and easy to talk to without being intrusive. Never felt rushed. Mykel is my go-to now for a fresh cut.

I have been going to this place from last 3 months, my regular barber Jose knows what he is doing, pretty decent and skilled stylist. All of the staff is friendly and knows how to attend the customers. Keep up the good work.

These gents working here are meticulous, detailed and take their time. This was easily the best cut I've had and I love my hair. Well done guys.
