Grooves

Grooves has some of the best staff in the entire city. Super friendly and knowledgeable, and they've got great stock for new and used records. I always find something I want in there, and if they don't have what I'm looking for they're happy to order it in if they're able.

Just dropped off a bunch of records and got a fair price. Also found a couple albums I've been hunting for. Staff was super friendly

I visit alot of record shops in canada and the usa. And I hot to say. I'm not really a fan of this place. The staff is nice. That's one star and they do have records. There is the other star. But this place prices are a little on the high side to be honest. But if we are skipping that. The big issue I have with shops like this is nor having a lissin station. I had about $800 worth of lps in my hands before i set them down and walked out without spending a dime. There really should be a lissin station. (even digital is fine). I make a point of not blind buying stuff ever. So for used stuff I want to spend 3 minutes sampling it. I refuse to spend cash on stuff I haven't previewed first. Not just for content. But also for stuff like scratchs (to be sure it will play ok still). I know this place had a station last time I was there. But it was gone for my vist this time in town. Too bad. The staff was nice enough. But whoever the owner is should remember they are selling muisc.

It was a fantastic find for any music lover! The staff were friendly and welcoming as soon as you walked in. And the feel of the store made you want to drop a large amount of money on beautiful sounds!

So many records! CDs, LPs, 45s, collectors editions! If you're planning to visit the shop, give yourself lots of time to browse through the many bins of goodies.

I’ve always had great costumer service at Grooves but today my interaction with employee Melissa Parrott was very unpleasant. She is a complete b-aitch and a rude person in general. I hope she learns that good costumer service goes a long way and she could take a few notes from the gentleman that was working alongside with her. But out of the 15 times Ive shopped at Grooves the costumer service has been exceptional expect for when I decided to ask Melissa Parrott a question.

Such a cool store with great prices and extensive selection in the heart of London. The staff are groovy.

Emailed the store looking for a specific genre of music to which they replied they had limited selection of it, but did have some. Drove all the way across town & discovered they in fact had nothing at all. The guy working in the store didn't know anything about the email we had sent either. Waste of time unless you are looking for classic vinyl.

Good experience, unfortunately they gotta deal with the construction going on with Dundas st right now.

Grooves is a staple in the London music scene. We love them. They buy and sell our products. We buy theirs. Without Grooves, London wouldn’t be the same. The staff is amazing!

I bought a Charles Manson record from here, so I guess it’s not that bad, just a little bit too pricey for some of their used records.

Grooves is always the best place in London to shop for music. Great prices. Great staff. Great selection. Really can't say enough about these people. Love the place.

Good selection and variety of CDs, most are used but in good condition and fairly priced. If you like Vinyls there are plenty of records there. Service is usually good too

So many sweet sweet records. Well organised, cool music playing, friendly helpful staff. I found some of what I was looking for and a couple of surprises, yay!
