Really good food, great service and atmosphere. Love how you can see into the kitchen and everything is so freshly made. One of the best spots in Barrie

I'm not a fan of soup, never have been. But the potato leek soup from chef justin completely changed my view on soup as a whole. I have yet to have a bad or even subpar meal here. I've been coming back just for the soup to see what they come up with next.

This small restaurant is a true gem. It serves upscale bistro food and you can see the chefs putting everything together. They have some innovative dishes that are worth going back for. I keep saying they need to make an appetizer featuring just the deviled eggs from the Cobb salad - amazing! The wines are nice, but on the pricey side.

I had salmon cake for an early dinner. It was really nice. I want to return to try their other menu.

The service was friendly and helpful.

Not cheap but value for money.

Had lunch here a few days ago. The service and food quality was outstanding! It is a smaller cozy spot with a patio.

Wow! When we walked into the restaurant we were immediately greeted…such an inviting and friendly atmosphere. We sat at the chef’s table and had fantastic interactions with the chef, Justin all evening. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the Gnocchi and Chicken Supreme. Both were so abundantly flavourful and the presentation and portions were perfect! We would recommend this hidden little gem and would definitely be back!

Food was good and Staff was kind.absolutely no complaints. The atmosphere was nice it’s a cute little place so it’s pretty peaceful and cozy.

Unfortunately the food was not hood. The vegetables were overcooked, the chicken was too spicy and the sauce was too spicy as well.

We had a very good experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great.

As usual, the food, the atmosphere and the service was incredible. I chose Groovy’s as my last date night/ dining out evening in Barrie before I move to Belfast Northern Ireland in 10 days. I will miss the wonderful creative food and the chill, relaxed atmosphere. But I will be back when I return for vacations.

A business dinner after a long day. Well received and sat at the table. Kitchen was prepared to accommodate everyone's off menu requests. I asked for, and received, a phenomena house pasta dish - nice spicy bite, al dented, and shrimps that were perfectly complimentary. And the curried carrot ginger soup was extraordinary.

This bistro is a must for any food lover with a passion for finding that one restaurant that delivers great value, in place you least expect it. Nestle in the middle of the block at 73 Collier Street in Barrie, Groovy Tuesday’s Bistro has a Downtown Toronto vibe that is unlike any other Restaurant in the area. My experience is that the food quality and flavours are matched by only a handful of critically acclaimed restaurants in the city.

This was a week of eating some lunches out. Langdon Hall which is rated top 5 out of 100 restaurants in Canada. Groovy Tuesday's was on Wednesday and hands down better choice of food and better tasting food. Love local!

Veggie Panini Sandwich&Fries. Nothing spectacular, nothing special however it cost me $31. For $31 per person I expect a wow factor, some pizzazz, a reason worth spending $31 for a plate. Atmosphere is great, staff great, everything was great for the exception of the food it was just okay. Standard! So if you're looking for standard food a that's overpriced this is the place for you.

For me I left there regretting that I picked this establishment, this restaurant to have dinner. There are better places serving better food at better prices.out of 5

I want to give this restaurant 5 stars. But it the end I can’t. It’s probably a 4.5 star here.

The food was great. Enjoyed the service. Vibe was good. Mezzaluna and gnocchi and bruschetta were all great.

But the gnocchi was said to have paneer. There was just one small-ish paneer grilled on the bowl. It was done quite well, it was just too small a portion. If you are charging so much for it, it’s got to have an abundance of ingredients.

Save your money and choose The Keg.
The service was horrible. Ordered an 8oz steak, wasn’t informed that they “were out” so they chose to substitute with their feature and didn’t check with me first…which was not favorable. No apology, or acknowledgment. Never was asked if we wanted another drink and then sat with dirty dishes at our table for more then 20 minutes until I made eye contact with the server. The restaurant wasn’t even fully booked.
Toronto fine dining prices but not Toronto fine dining quality or service. All in all not an enjoyable experience by any means. Will not be returning.

An amazing spot. This is a terrific spot to go. My wife and I went with my parents and our toddler for supper. Everyone was pleasant to deal with. I love that the chefs kitchen is open and you can see first hand the fine dining dinner being prepared for you. I would recommend this to anyone.
