A wonderful experience with counterstaff, and all other service personnels. Service rendered by Dr. Sierra Avrashi was so great and commendable. She patiently hear all problems and reaching a conclusion like a good friend and counsellor.

Google and website said walk-in available but they only give walk-in service on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I hope they update the important information asap.

Bad experience. Went in for a check-up. Gave my sample, asked the nurse if it was good to go, she said yes. I waited two weeks for my results until I came in and asked myself in person - turns out they NEVER performed the test. And they NEVER called me to notify me about it. I was waiting for test results that was never performed to begin with. What kind of a healthcare is that when a patient comes in, gives a sample and they simply don’t do the test. I understand mistakes happen but they didn’t even give me a call to let me know that I should I come back and redo the test. Very irresponsible and disappointing.

I was a patient when this clinic first opened, and it was a genuinely great experience. Since then, I have managed my health care relatively well and only required a few checkups throughout the pandemic (virtually).

Today, i booked a walk-in appointment and saw one of the new doctors. I am on HRT and have been for 2 years and needed them to fix a prescription from another doctor as they prescribed the wrong medication.

They refused to even listen to me and kept asking if I was anxious (I was fidgeting because I had thrown out my back and they knew this).

They used the wrong pronouns for me and kept saying that they were "VERY EXPERIENCED WORKING WITH TRANS PEOPLE" but that they couldn't help me and there was nothing they could do. It was weird how hard they were virtue signaling but throwing their hands in the air at the same time.

Didn't offer to rebook for a longer appointment, didn't offer to run blood work that they suddenly required, literally wouldn't even look at me.

They just kept repeating, "I only have 10 minutes! I only have ten minutes! ".

TLDR: Do not book a walk-in appointment if you need help with any prescriptions or examinations. I'm not actually sure what services they provide. Seems like they only offer prescription refills to family doctor patients and sick notes at a premium $$$$$$

Reception is not organized. And when there are delays (doctor not seeing patient on time), they do not even apologize for the inconvenience. Total waste of time. I am so disappointed that I have a bad experience here.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Gebara today and she was empathetic, efficient, and knowledgeable. I’m grateful to have such a friendly and accessible clinic in the neighbourhood.

Dr. Walderman is a great doctor. This one star review is purely due to the incompetent reception. They are rude, unhelpful and extremely unpleasant. It’s unfortunate because it really makes me want to reconsider this clinic.
31 January 2023 8:34
Love Dr. Walderman.the individuals working at the reception desk however.need some better communication and customer service skills. I cancelled my appointment, and then they emailed me a day later stating I was a "no show" and made me feel bad for missing my appointment. Additionally, I have a legal and a preferred name. Instead of asking for my legal name, the receptionist asks "whats your Chinese name? " I'm not even Chinese.pure ignorance. I might have to find a new clinic just because I can't stand dealing with the people working at reception.

The entire medical team is kind and caring, very compassionate and not at all judgemental. And those wonderful techs in the lab! Love them.

On the other hand, the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. It seems to be new staff almost every visit which doesn’t need to be a problem, howeverrrrr It is as if they do not communicate with one another. They are not at all versed in compassionate care, they seem to be completely unaware of anything regarding medical leave, poverty, mental wellness (beyond the checksheet they have to use in case you mention mental health), medical notes and their requirements, etc etc etc.

They have argued with me about every note that comes with a price tag (22$). The whole paying for notes while on medical leave is pretty weird but to hold them hostage as though benefits don’t hinge on them… pretty terrible. Understanding the systems and how their office fits in is important.

It’s truly disappointing and pretty upsetting to need to qualify your personal situations to anyone other than your doctor. I sincerely hope it improves, it’s really a bummer to feel like I want to or need to avoid my medical care because it’s so upsetting to get to.
12 January 2023 5:53
Dr. Walderman is the best doctor I’ve ever had. My family has been seeing her for the last several years, very professional and helpful.
31 December 2022 21:35
This is the worst-managed clinic I have ever seen. The front-desk staff are all super helpful, but there's barely ever any doctors onsite even though its advertised as a walk-in clinic. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. Whoever own this clinic should be ashamed of themselves.
03 October 2022 12:16
Staff were kind and helpful, they went above and beyond at this clinic. I am impressed and grateful. Highly recommend!
07 September 2022 9:31
1st time I went the office was empty and I had to wait over an hour to see a doctor. The 2nd time they scheduled a phone phone appointment and it was an even worse experience. I wish I got the receptionists name but she was rude, incompetent, and the main reason I’ll never go back. TERRIBLE CLINIC. DON’T GO HERE.
09 August 2022 21:23
Reception service was absolutely deplorable and judging by the rest of the reviews, this is an ongoing issue that management clearly isn’t doing anything to improve.

Long story short I had some to get a strep swab during the 12pm walk in hour along with 3 other ppl who coincidentally were experiencing the exact same symptoms As me. I was the second of the three of us to get the reception desk and when I stated why I had come not only did the receptionist become instantly repulsed but she she insisted that I couldn’t be seen (despite the first patient being given an appointment) and tried to tell me what symptoms I was experiencing. When I tried to explain that she was mistaken about my symptoms, she cut me off and starting making up procedures and practices and her two dimwitted colleagues somehow felt that it would be profession to chime in despite not even listening to my explanation in the first place. Did I mention they stopped helping the patient in front of them to help tell me I had a cough and couldn’t be seen when I never said I had a cough. (There was more but you get the idea)

It’s ridiculous that I would have to plead my case to 3 incompetent front desk staff that make up rules and don’t even listen to the patients situation when they have no medical expertise, which was the whole reason for my coming in the first place, To see a doctor not the front desk staff. To me it doesn’t matter how good the physician is if I have to fight the front desk to let me see them! Don’t waste your time go somewhere else.

P.s. Pharmacist was wonderful though!

The doctors are wonderful, and the receptionist is nice but hilariously incompetent- I felt like I was on an episode of Seinfeld. First I spelled my name over the phone, and they spelled it back to me completely wrong- ok, sure, that happens to everybody. But then they gave me an appointment date, and when I said “ok, so it’s on _ date? ” They said “yes, it’s _” and gave a completely different date. I was trying to not laugh at this point. Then after the appointment, the doctor said they would send me a form. No form came, so I figured they spelled my email address wrong. I called, and the same receptionist spelled the email back to me, correctly, and they said “ok I’ll send it right now. ” Guess what I still don’t have? Again, everyone is very pleasant, and the doctor I spoke to had a wonderful bedside manner, but lord have mercy.
09 April 2022 18:55
They don’t do walk-ins. Virtual appointment only. But there are many virtual appointments avail every the same day.
06 April 2022 13:55
The doctors are good, but the front desk is a mess.

I don't know if it is just me, but every time I need to book an appointment, it is a struggle. For example, my wife had to call 4 times to schedule a simple appointment. First, they didn't find her in the system because they made a typo in her last name, then they scheduled her to random day without telling her as the call dropped, she only figured this out as she called them again and was finally able to schedule her appointment.
05 March 2022 6:13
The doctors are nice, but holy do the receptionist not know or have a CLUE what is going on. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have had an appointment it is a joke, they booked me on a holiday. I ensured that was correct they said yes. NOPE.they screw up every appointment it is ridiculous.do not waste your time.

Honestly they don't even deserve that one star!

This is about my own family Doctor for years DR. Walderman AND GSH horrific customer service that i had to deal with for years.everytime i call her for either of my babies her first response is go to Emerg.i go to sick kids and thank God for them they tell me your family doctor should follow up with the kids. I call same week to talk to her about a new symptom since my son developed Croups she can't even squeeze me in but has the time to talk to her office to call me and tell me to take him to EMERG. I have been at sick kids 3 times this week Dr. Walderman with a 2 year old staying there for 6/7 or 8 hours. When you should be genuinely interested to what us going on with my son.it is a viral infection that you could have managed to monitor my son and show that you care just a little.instead of using the easy way out. Trust me i get it its covid but my son tested for covid at sick kids and i mentioned that but you still dont want to see patients with a fever? Why did other clinics welcome my son?
you could have spoken to me on phone at least heard what my son is going through and then advised of my next steps but having your answer to be "Go to EMERG" everytime i talk to you is unacceptable. Good luck as your are no longer our family doctor.

Dr. Sud is such an amazing, sweet, intelligent and talanted doctor. I have nothing but phraises for her. Subsequently, their reception was also very kind and professional.

Especially during these rough times (COVID-19 Pandemic), it's amazing to find doctors that don't rush your diagnosis, and actually care about you. I was in a state of frenzy due to the multiple hospital and doctor visits lately, but after meeting Dr. Sud, I finally experienced a sense of relief. I"m very grateful to have been under the care of Dr. Sud.

I've been having these bad nightly rashes for aproximately half a year now, and was finally referred to Dr. Sud from this clinic. Dr. Sud was able to comprehend what I was going through and gave me an accurate diagnosis right away. She was very considerate when coming up with a plan to figure out the best treatment for my condition, and very thourough when it came to explaining my condition to me.

In regards to the front desk, everyone was very kind and punctual when it came to responding promply via email and phone.

Thank you so much for this amazing experience!

P. S. I wish she was a family practioner. I would definitely trust my family's life in her hands.

This clinic is amazing. The staff was really kind and helpful on the phone when making my appointment. Doctor Dar is just so kind and empathetic and quickly put me at ease, as I'm rather nervous when it comes to doctor visits. Thank you for the wonderful care I received, it really makes a huge difference.

I got here at 12, it is now 2: 15. I’ve been waiting for 2 hours and 15 minutes. The woman at the front desk has told me multiple times I am next while other walk-in patience are going ahead of me. This isn’t right, get a better system. I am coming to get my inhaler refill, they only need to see me out of greed. The more people they see, the more money they get. It’s despicable.
04 August 2019 5:22
I liked it when it first opened but it progressively got worse with time.

The bad rating goes to the management and the receptionists to be honest, not the doctors.

Once, I was prescribed antibiotics and got a bad reaction to it. I went back to the walk-in and asked to be seen by a doctor in order to be prescribed an other medication and be checked. They refused as they were closing in less than an hour and had too many people.

An other time, one of the receptionist didn’t register me properly until I made a comment that I was still waiting and people were skipping me.

Last but not least, I went to the walk-in, waited over an hour and a half when I was told it would be no less than 30 minutes. (but ok.it happens) The doctor I saw made a mistake in my prescription. The pharmacy tried to join them for over a day to adjust the dosage, suggesting that this specific walk-in was bad at dealing with this, and that I had more chances if I’d go in person. I went back to the walk-in, the receptionist made me wait for an other hour and a half, instead of fixing the mistake which is usually dealt on the phone between them and the pharmacists.

She told me it would be two patients ahead of me. 10 patients ahead of me and an hour and a half later, second day in a row, I started to ask them questions and she told me that there were (apparently STILL) two patients ahead of me. A joke!

I left without seeing a doctor, late for work and with no medication. Wasted 3 hours over two days, and I still can’t have access to my medication. I still need my antibiotics. And they havent contacted me since.

What a waste of time. I am very mad. Honestly, that is SO not professional. What if it had been life threatening? !

Terrible management. I am not going back even though the doctors are great. Doctors are great there, I can’t emphasize it enough. Nothing against them.

It was a very upsetting experience every single time I’ve been.

I misplaced my health card somewhere along the way to the clinic. I had a photo of my card and asked the medical secretary if she would accept that and another piece of government issued identification. She very rudely refused and suggested that I come back with my card. I asked if i could put my name down for the walk in list while I went home to see if I could locate my card. Again, rudely refused.

Feeling very sick, I travelled all the way back home to see if I could locate my card. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate it. I returned to the clinic, at the point the waiting room was jam packed. I explained my situation again and magically the “rules” changed - of course, still receiving major attitude from the secretary.

I then waited for approximately 2 hours while other walk in patients were sent in before me. When I finally got to see the doctor, she was unable to confirm my condition. And provided me topical creams for what was later determined as a severe anaphylactic reaction. Which is fine- but she barely looked at my symptoms and refused to refer me to any specialists. I had to ask multiple times, explaining that they were my rights until she finally agreed.

I would never, ever return to this clinic.

When you are not feeling well, not getting taken care of is discouraging. Tuesday hours got changed, Wednesday wait was too long for me to be away from work, today hours changed suddenly. I should have gone to emergency to get treated.
26 June 2019 13:23
Nothing but positive experiences at this clinic. Between myself and my 2 young children, I think we have seen every doctor and they are all super knowledgeable, friendly, great with kids, and do not rush us at all. They ask questions, truly listen to me and practically never keep us waiting for our appointments. The nurse is also lovely. So happy to have this clinic in our neighbourhood.
02 May 2019 6:41
After going here since it opened, I was asked to pay a fee to cover an appointment I missed because of another medical emergency. I'm diagnosed with bipolar disorder w/ psychosis (it's all on my file) and I had an episode. For those who don't know, psychosis tears you away from reality, making you unable to connect with other, thus why I could not call and cancel my appointment. Completely insensitive of them to insist on me paying the fee, even after explaining the situation and providing evidence from CAMH. I can't understand how you can work in the medical field, and not empathize with those suffering from valid medical conditions.
20 April 2019 0:42
I totally wasted my time at this clinic. I asked for a back pain and strong urine smell concerning my kidney, the doctor said it's nothing. I asked for a prescription for massage for my back pain. The doctor refused and insisted that I have to see my family doctor even though I informed her that my family doctor moved away. I mean what is problem requesting a prescription for massage at walk in if I have back pain?

Stopped by TONNES of times on a walk-in basis to get blood work, TB testing, and vaccinations/boosters. Everything went smoothly and everyone was so friendly and helpful (the ladies in the front office, the lab technician, Drs. Avrashi, Draper, and Gebara). Absolutely no delay in getting my results back and reception offers very prompt service. I'm impressed - would highly recommend. (Expect a wait, bring something to occupy yourself, Mondays are wild, but Wednesdays tend to be better).

If you're looking for a walk-in clinic this one will not serve your needs it is a huge line up even if you go early on a weekday
01 January 2019 6:46
Really great experience and great staff. I'm a GP myself and have only needed to bring my daughter to see a GP twice ever so don't do so without having some concern. The GP we saw in walkin was clinically excellent, took her time and had a great manner. We previously attended for vaccines and had a great experience with a different doctor. Receptionist and technician also lovely. I feel I am fairly well placed to spot a great clinic and staff and I certainly won't be going anywhere else. Thanks again.

They stopped accepting patients 35 minutes before they closed and also couldn't tell me how long to arrive before closing because when they stop accepting patients apparently changes every day. Not very consistent. Usually clinics have a time frame they stick to so people dont waste their time coming for nothing.
