I’ve Been seeing Dr Thoms since I settled in Whitby in 1998. He and his staff are a pleasure and he is. Fantastic with children as he has five of his own. I just had a very quick appointment for fitting for a mouth guard for grinding, I was on time but as normal had no wait time. Scheduling is also fantastic

SO nice to have Dr. Thoms back in Whitby! The new office is bright and clean and fun and fully equipped with the latest technology. All the staff are a joy to deal with and they deliver complete and thorough dental care. Two thumbs up! Best Dental Office and Dental Team ever!

Dr. Thoms is a great dentist very personable explains all that needs to be done. I am totally relaxed (as best as I can be) during the visit. All the staff are very friendly! Jackie does a great job of cleaning your teeth. The office is totally modernized with up to date equipment! Cleanliness is a 10!

Always super friendly, honest and professional. Dr. Thoms and Danielle are top notch professionals who know their jobs and are very pleasant to deal with. Receptionists are genuinely friendly too.

The office looks like a spaceship after the recent renovation. Large adjustable TV screens with Netflix and massage chairs are a nice distraction for anyone dreading a visit to a dentist.

I never have any worries when coming here. More importantly, I always leave with a smile and confidence that my teeth are well taken care of.

Look no further, you found your dentist. From the beginning of my appointment till end, exceptional care. Doctor took the time to explain everything and I felt he had my best interest. The hygienist (Arian) was hilarious and super personable. She did a Thorough job on my teeth. Leslie at reception is the face of the practice, super sweet. The place is clean and modern. I felt like I was hanging out with friends, looking forward to my next appointment. 10/10

I feel like I stumbled upon the best kept secret when I discovered GT Dental.
Not only is their office impressive (look, music, screens with relaxing scenes during treatments, top of the line treatments)
But most importantly…. They are without a doubt hands down the best medical team I have ever come across.
Every person there is so warm, kind and compassionate and there are zero judgements.
You can tell this really comes from the top down as Dr Thoms is amazing and so warm and approachable.
Their office manager Lesley is incredibly lovely and sets the tone for the experience you will have there. I was so nervous for my first visit and she took the time to make sure I knew everyone was ready for me (and my anxiety) and helped assure me that everything would be okay, which it was.

I went to G. T. Dental due to a serious problem created by another dentist. They got me an appointment right away. No waiting around for my app't. Everyone was very friendly. They made me feel very comfortable. I saw Dr. Thomas. He is a very nice man and you can tell he cares about what ever you're going through. Loved it there!

This is hands down the BEST dental office in Whitby. I have been with Dr. Thoms for 7 years now and I have followed him throughout his dental journey. Dr Thoms and his team are true professionals. If you have anxiety prior to a procedure they do an outstanding job of preparing you and doing the procedure as pain free as possible. Their new office besides being esthetically pleasing was designed with all the latest technology to ensure patients are treated in a secure environment. I highly recommend the team.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Tomes now for several years. Such a down to earth and friendly soul. Always professional yet genuinely earnest when he takes time out of his day to chat with you. His coworkers are absolutely top notch. Then only thing that could improve the experience is a brand new office.wait.he just built one! This new facility is a delight to be in. Definitely designed around the needs of the clients I feel I’m visiting a high-end spa. I dare say I actually enjoy going to the dentist now.
