Friendly, knowledgeable and fairly priced. My husband and I both bought new phones and they answered all our questions and also helped us transfer data between phones.

These guys constantly misrepresent what they sell on Kijiji. They post the same ad all the time, however, when you come to their office, they actually do not have what they advertise.the consistent answer is "oh, we just sold it, but we have <something else>" definitely do not bother visiting their office.

So I was a little apprehensive after purchasing my new Galaxy S22 Plus from GTA phones. I was so in need of a new phone I didn't even bother to read the reviews beforehand. The price was fair and that's all I cared about. Arriving at the store I realized it was more run down than I expected but it didn't change the service I experienced. They had the phone already open for me to inspect. At first I was like why would they open the box. That's odd. But tbh I did want to inspect the phone so that didn't bother me. I asked the right questions and checked the IMEI info and all was good. They even threw in a charger for free which was nice. When I got home I went online and started reading the reviews and immediately went to to panic mode because of all the negative things people were saying. I thought omg the phone I just purchased is refurbished. Luckily for me my boyfriend is very saavy with electronics. He was able to download an app and confirmed the phone wasn't refurbished. Phew! The phone has been working amazing with zero issues and I just love the color (light pink). The service I received in store was nothing but amazing and professional. Both reps (unfortunately didn't they their names) were very helpful and honestly answered all my questions. I called them in the late evening hours and they responded to my call after hours to answer my concerns and reassured me they did not sell me a refurbished phone. After having the phone for 3 weeks I can say I will be back to GTA phones to get a new phone in the future. My advice. Don't always believe what you read. Sometimes ppl do have bad experiences but that doesn't mean the seller is in the wrong. GTA phones is a trustworthy, fair and professional business. The only negative is that you will receive the phone already opened. Please know they have to open products to ensure they are not faulty and in good working order from the supplier they buy from. Check out GTA phones you won't regret it! Thanks for a great experience!

We purchased Samsung Galaxy S8 from thier website. Phone arrived quickly through Canada Post before Christmas to Kingston ON. Phone is in great condition, came with charger, data cable and new headphones. It works amazingly with my fido sim.

They have many new phones that are hard to find anywhere else. I bought a new Samsung S10+. They were very informative and made sure I was happy with my purchase. The 6 month warranty is a nice bonus.

Purchased s10+ few days ago. Phone is not new as advertised but refurbished with new counterfeit box. Phone back plate states 975U (US model) but flashed to 975W (Canadian model) in software. Both Serial No and IMEI are not searchable on Samsung.ca Sim.card tray missing imei (generic). Box sticker snd bar code don't match authentic Samsung sticker. Closely comparing box to factory you'll notice it's not genuine. The phone had foggy wide angle camera. Took too local trusted repair shop who opened it and confirmed its not a new phone but refurbished and reflashed US Phone. Inside the battery is 2019 date code. The screws are black non original.samsung screws and other indicators inside of not original. The seal was broken on the phone making it not water resistant. Most reviews on here only have 1 review and are likely fake
This place is definitely not selling you original new phones but rather refurbished phones in fake original looking new box. This is why it's always open box. And if you search serial or imei on Samsung.ca it does not show up. Also the model number on back plate did no match what the software indicated.

Legit review. Bought note 10+ for a great price. I had an issue with it and Taral exchanged it for another one once he saw the issue for himself. The new one is great so far. The super fast charger that came with it stopped working. He just exchanged it for me. He's fair and reasonable. I'd buy again. Thanks Taral.

I bought 2 new open box Samsung S10's form gta phones almost a month ago. One had a mobile data software issue and the other is flawless. I returned the one S10 and opted to get an S10+ for $50 more. It's working flawlessly. The owner had no issues taking back the S10 under warranty and transferred all of my data to my new S10+. I am very satisfied with the no hassle customer service provided and I would definitely buy another phone from gta phones.

Will recommed GTA Phones to others. They fixed my totally broken iPhone X last month. Picked up from my hotel in Canada and gave it back in 4 days. Wish them good luck.

Came in to buy a Note 9, but couldn't resist the great price on a newer phone. Prices are great, and I was able to have a new screen protector put on for $10 (install was free!) and also I got a rugged case for my new phone also for only $10. Well worth the trip to Torbram and Derry Rd!

Wow. What a great experience. Taral greeted me, mask on, and gave me exactly what I needed, a Galaxy S8 plus. Here's where it got great: I bought a heavy duty case for $10 (10 bucks!) And I asked him for help with transferring over my sim card, and he offered to transfer all of my data for me, which I really needed. He charged up my dead phone wirelessly and in 20 minutes I was out the door, pleased as punch. So great to deal with such courteous professionals. All is right in my world!

Ordered online, it said new phone open box but they don't tell you the expensive phone you are buying is refurbished! My "new " iPhone the camera stopped working just after 2 days.then when you arrive at the store it is some shady run down unit, another red flag. I attempted to get my money back but left with another phone which only lasted 3 weeks the screen just came completely off another refurbished phone. If you need a reliable phone stay away from this place. There reviews are fake. One star only because they glued the screen back on which should not of been able to just fall off in the first place! It's a pandemic don't let anyone scam you out of your money.

I just bought a Samsung s8+, within two months the phone stopped charging and when I took it back. They are accusing me of changing the covers and it was never like that and trying charge me money.
Worse place to go to.

Found them from Kijiji, I was little hesitant to order for delivery. But they delivered the phone same day, and it’s been over 3 months and the phone is working great. Highly recommend.

Me and my family all purchased phones from this store. All 3 phones stopped functioning within 2 months; some even within a day.

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8, and suddenly had water damage causing the screen to be essentially destroyed within 2 months. I have had a great number of cell phones in my life and have only EVER had a single issue with a previous BlackBerry which was a charging port came off the circuit board; never water damage which is very obvious when it is happening, as you would notice when you submerge a device in water.

I've had a BlackBerry; then I had an iPhone 4S when they first came out which I then gave to my mother to use and is still functioning to this day even after she got a newer phone; then I had a Samsung Galaxy S5 which I had for 2 years with no issues; then I had a Nexus 6P which I had for 4, almost 5 years with no issues; then I bought a Samsung Galaxy S8 from this store and the screen failed within 2 months; then I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 from another store and it has worked perfectly for coming up on 2 months.

My mother purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or 9 (not too sure which one) from this store and was giving a different phone than the one she tried in store, we got back to my apartment and looked at it and found it had bad screen burn. My father purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8+ from this store and it died and stopped charging by the time they went home.

Everything before and after this store was nearly immaculate; everything from this store was poor quality.

I don't want to go as far as saying we were scammed, perhaps he just has very terrible quality control where he doesnt inspect the devices he sells.

I had taken the phone back for him to look at a couple of times, and because him and my father argued over the phone when the store wouldn't return my texts – the owner decided to tell me that he wouldnt give the cell I paid for back to me, that he would only give it to my father. This is a very unacceptable thing to do as it could have had personal information or other important information.

When we arrived at the store to pick it up, he wanted to debate with my father about how "anyone can write reviews" and appeared to be slightly agitated that we said he sold us defective devices.

He cant claim that every negative review he receives is fake or a lie. We aren't making this up, it is not a fake review.

If you decide to purchase from this store, be wary. Make sure you check it over before you leave.

I purchased a note 8 from GTA phones and i love it. The service was incredible. The gentleman helped put on a screen protector for me. He Helped with starting the phone up and also helped with issues i had with my iphone 8 plus. Amazing service. Ps i used the phone for a week before posting this review just so i can give an honest review. Everyone who is looking fo a great price should check out GTA phones.
