Guddu's Chilli Chicken

Good food, great flavors, good portion size. Only thing they could work on is the dine in area. It's not clean and it does not welcome us to sit and eat there.

I'm from US and I was visiting family in Canada. I was craving for Indo Chinese food from long time and when I had Chicken Lolipop and Veg Hakka noodles here it reminded me of good old days in India where we used to have the chinese on the streets of Mumbai. The food is too good, my son loved it so much that we did take out while traveling back to US to have it on the way. I would ask all Indo chinese lovers to come here and give it a try. Amazing food.

I consistently get my food hot and fresh without having to wait much and never had an issue with main customer service workers. Friendly and caring staff.

There’s more gravy than actual food and it’s way too overpriced for the quality. You can get much better food for a better price. Its more like regular indian food than hakka. Food isn’t tasty.

Very disappointed with the food taste recently. We ordered $70 dinner but their food taste very different from earlier. All the items were extra spicy. I tried to call them and complain about the food, but the girl ask us to return the food and replace it. But it was 30min drive back and forth. We used to get food from here from past 10yrs but recently from past 2 orders the food doesn’t have that taste anymore. I think the management changed or they changed the cook.

This use to be such a good Chillie chicken spot! Looks like they got a new chef and he is not anything close to the last chef.

Definitely won’t be going back, hard thing to say cause I’ve been going there since 2011

Experienced one of the best manchoorian and fried fish in whole brampton.most suggested place by me.

Ordered the chilli chicken with gravy, too much gravy which was very bland NO veggies either. No green chillies visible AT ALL. No fortune cookies either. The spicy sauce provided was simply hot and sour. Wouldn’t recommend AT ALL.

Very delicious halal noodles, they have 100% halal chicken available and lots of vegetarian options also.

Poor, worst and even worse. I ordered noodles and manchurian with spring rolls, it was not for the first time that I ordered from here, and I regret to waste my money on that insipid food, which had gallons of oil spilled over it. Noodles were floating in oil, manchurian tasted yuck and spring rolls seems like they have used those frozen ones. I called and went back for the return and they compensated me with a 27dollars voucher to use next time when I order it future. As if I would be ordering again to get sick. Never would recommend this place, they have lost a customer for sure.

Honest reviewer - Ordered lunch special, Chilly Chicken with noodles (white meat at extra $). Service was fast. Nicely packed in a nice container. Noodles were edible but chilly chicken with white meat was not edible. Chicken was chewy and gamey. Perhaps undercooked or meat was just gamey. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back.

THIS PLACE IS NOT HALAL. There is no certificate from the HMA (halal monitoring agency). And I was lead to believe that the chicken was halal from the untrained staff who have no idea about the seriousness of this question.if the owner sees the review I hope they update on their website with more transparency about the certification or the source of procuring the halal meat. Disgusting food ever I tried in my life.
I ordered veg Hakka noodles and that was test less. I mean literally no test and even noodles was not properly boiled. I had to throw it. Never gonna go again. Worst experience

This restaurant either got new owners or new staffs and cook.been coming here for years but recently all there food items changed (the fried rice is a different color than before and taste less along with there chicken items) nothing tastes the same and looks the same as before.also even there hot sauce changed.they now cook with frozen pack veggies.and start adding corn in there fried rice:/. Would not be comingback her.so disappointed in the changes

What has happened to Guddu? It used to be our goto Indian Chinese food restaurant whenever we went to Brampton.
I usually don't give a bad review but this is just to make Guddu aware that they have lost their charm.
Chinese chicken biryani was my most favorite dish here. Not anymore sadly.
This is the 3rd time I am being disappointed by the food and hence the bad review.
What changed Guddu? Did your chef resign? Whatever the reason is, buck up!

These guys have significantly improved their taste. I am raising my previous reviews from 2 stars to 4 starts. Hope you guys maintain this taste. Nice Chilly Chicken. Good Job…

My family has been ordering from this restaurant for the last 10 years never been disappointed

We have been having amazing Hakka meals from Guddu’s chilli chicken for many years. They are so fast when we place the order and the food quality is incredible and always fresh. We mostly order the chilli fish with rice and the Malaysian chicken fried rice which is great as well. Must have list for sure! Highly recommend this place for takeouts, good quantity and quality.

The food is not authentic. I purchased schezuan chicken fried rice. Please tell me why the whole meal is orange? There was zero vegetables in it except green onion. The noodles had zero veggies either and what is the price for? Rice and food coloring? Absolutely disappointed and a waste of 25 dollars

Ordered first time chilli chicken and veg. Manchurian from this restaurant. Really good and quantity much more as compared to other restaurants.

The food used to be great worth 4 stars until 2019 and since then it has gone worst and bad. My wife bought some stuff just yesterday after 2 yrs it was just horrible noodles were burnt, god knows what type of chilli chicken was that. Fried rice worst taste I have eaten in ages. I won't recommend it anymore.

The chilli chicken was excellent loved it however the Hakka was too dry definitely not the Indian taste

These guys use to be very good back in days. Tried there Chilli Chicken today after long time, omg, tasted nothing like Chilli Chicken: (. Wata waste of money. Will never order from there again.

Very bad customer service. Food was not fresh, ordered veg manuchian dry and one with gravy. Hakka noodles garlic and one regular. Highly recommend NOT TO BUY. Boy at the front have attitude. Funny part is they put HALDI (turmeric) in Chinese food. Lol.please do not waste your money. If you eat Chinese from this place, I bet u will start disliking Chinese food.

I dealt with the owner directly and I must say, I had the best experience ever. I needed to make a catering order for 30 people and not only did he let me and my partner come in and sit, he also allowed us to sample all the items I wanted to order. The food was phenomenal; rich of flavor and spices to satisfy various taste palettes, and the price was beyond reasonable. I saved a few hundred dollars and also got better food. It's a win/win situation with Guddu's Chilli Chicken. Thank you guys so much!

Good food and mostly consistent quality. I have many times ordered dishes for me and also for friends living outside of Brampton. Veg hakka noodles, veg manchurian, chilli chicken dry, schewan fried rice are good. Mostly a takeout joint. They will also adjust the spice levels if requested.
Not an ambience for Indoor dining.

Sep. 2021 update: 5 stars for the best Hakka meal I've had in months. Hot & Sour soup, Springs Rolls, Chilli Tofu and Chilli Garlic Fried Rice were delicious. Very good food at a great price. Generous portions and lots of vegetarian options.

Cozy restaurant serving inexpensive but delicious Chinese-Indian fusion cuisine

The food quality is good but the lady at the counter is very rude. She behaves in a way as if she is doing you a favour by giving you the food for which you are paying (with always a mandatory kind of tip option on their paying machine). The restaurant should also focus on giving training to their employees. And you also forget that you will ever get your order on time. They are always super late

They don’t allow any basic customization (like no onions) even if you are allergic to anything. Food quality has gone from bad to worse in recent years. They don’t care anymore about customer service!

I was not very happy with this restaurant. I live in Etobicoke saw a suggestion on Facebook group and thought of visiting on my birthday because it had good reviews but to my surprise I experienced the opposite. Couldn’t click photos but I ordered chicken lollipop which was extremely oily. I couldn’t taste it because all I could taste was oil. The noddles too did not have any spice or taste. Chilli chicken was also soggy. It was not worth at all going this far. I probably won’t go here again.

Lunch special too overpriced for the quantity that is provided. Otherwise, their food is decent. It contains a good mix of indian spices. If you're able to tolerate chinese food that is more on the spicier side then this is worth a try.

A little disappointed with there veggie hot garlic. I was expecting a cabbage/carrot filled polar but what I got was just a bread batter ball. The sauce is good but you really miss the cabbage that's supposed to be in the pakora.

This restaurant used to be really good but in the past couple years the quality of food and customer service has gone down drastically. Often times the food is not fresh and you can easily tell that it’s old. Also, the service is poor and wait times are longer then they originally say and when you address the issue the same excuses are made.

Used to be great but lately quality is a hit and miss. They don’t customize orders during weekends, even a small request for ‘no onions’ is not allowed. Quantity and quality has gone down somewhat.

Never go on this restaurant. Really cheap quality of food. I ordered manchurian chicken noodles and they gave me maggi with pieces of chickens. They don’t know what is exact manchurian. I don’t know how they running this business. U can see picture as well.

If they say half an hour, your food WILL NOT be ready in half an hour. Expect at least 15-20 mins delay from the pick up time they give you.
The food is okay, definitely not worth the lack of customer service.

One of the worst place to order Chinese food, noodles are like Sewiyan bad thin quality noodles, chicken soup is good, thats it!

We ordered veg food. Spring rolls, Chilli paneer and Hot n sour soup. It was so very delicious especially the soup and spring rolls, typically Indian hakka chinese style.

Worst place ever. I ordered chilly chicken and it was nothing compare to restaurant quality.i can cook better at home. Who makes chilly chicken sweet? With ketchup! I went there because a family friend suggested. Never going back again.

Loved the veggie schezwan noodles here.went in the afternoon so found seating pretty early.the order arriver soon too and it was really tasty.reminded of the version of Indian noodles back home.will definitely visit again as this place has lots of things to offer and it’s worth going back to.

Fair process, great portions, and good service. I highly recommend the "house special mixed noodles".

On the down side, practically no seating, and what's supposed to be their flagship product (chilli chicken) is not as good as several other places in the gta.

Good Indian Chinese food nearby. The price is a little bit higher. Generally go for take out and call in ahead.

In the beginning when they opened up the food was delicious. Now there cutting corners. Won't be back.

Hakka Khazana at Twine Drive, Mississauga would give you the better taste than this Guddi Chilly Chicken.

Firstly, why they have a sitting arrangement for about 10 to 15 people if they don't want to offer atleast a Glass of water to the customer.
And says bring ur own water or buy from us
Secondly, they are charging double price of soup as compare to other Mississauga Chinese outlet.

Worst Soup I ever had made up of sugar.
Ordered Noodle and Crispy vegetable both made of Full Oil instead of any taste we were getting Oil in the mouth.

We got chicken lollipop, hot and sour chicken soup, chicken fried rice and garlic chicken. All the dishes tasted good and well cooked. We ordered well in advance and picked duo the food in 30 minutes. It was ready when we went to pick up. Highly recommend if you are craving for some nice info- chinese

Ordered manchurian chicken dish and chicken was missing. Called the restaurant and left them verbal feedback.

Not good.will never be attending this establishment again. Not one to leave reviews but this was unpleasant. Chicken was not cooked. Flavourless dish. To its credit it was a large portion.

Sorry Gaddu but your prices do not reflect your food. Bought for first time last night and I must say. Nothing in my order looked like what I ordered.over spiced.salty.oily. The chicken biryani was chicken less.no cardamon nothing traditional. All your chicken from the dry chilli chicken was chicken less but lots or tiny breaded pieces consist of fatty parts. Was completely disappointed. Sorry folks. Not going here again

I tried this spot once with a friend and I am obsessed ever since. I loved the awesome character and tasty food and drinks. Highly recommended.

Went this past Friday afternoon- Great food no doubt, especially the hakka noodles.still had much left over took it home and my family member loved it so much he has been craving it since than and will be going by again today to eat there.

Craving Hakka chinese and have guests at home? Look no further. Their Schezuan noodles and chili chicken combo is the one we go for. If you can handle it, ask to make it spicy. Their quantities are way out of proportion so ask how many you need before you order, one portion is good for three!

Amazing as always. Been going here since 2011. Same food, same taste. Gets a bit crowded so order at least 45 minutes before. Other than that, enjoy

Just like any other small scale ethnic restaurant, food is alright but customer service sucks! Much of the staff are unskilled foreign students who struggle with even basic communication and manners!
