Worked here as an employee and also took my cats here for vaccines. This clinic is awesome. The vets are all super caring and techs are very knowledgeable. Love that its a cat only practice; beautiful waiting room, feliway in the exam rooms, as well as birds. Also love Molly the clinic cat. Overall super welcoming place and was also a great place to work. Have been in a few times after working there and new receptionists are also great!

Knowledgeable and patient regardless of the reason for your visit. Can be pricy, but they have an intimate knowledge of cat ailments and behavior. It's a step up from many places in a city like Toronto where some vet techs make you feel rushed and unheard. Most importantly is they develop a level of trust with you, so you know you are getting the right care when your furry friends need it.

I brought in my 6 month old kitty for her final vaccines, after having previously taken her to a different vet. Her demeanour was night and day! She was so relaxed, she felt confident and comfortable in the exam room, and didn’t even feel the vaccines (thanks to the birds!). The clinic does everything they can to accommodate to the specific needs of cats - including having caged birds available for your appointments, and ‘happy pheromones’ in every room. I am so impressed with this clinic and my fur baby is very happy, too!

I have been bringing my cats Zulu, Frodo and Amarula to the Guelph Cat Clinic for years and have always been very impressed by the attentive and compassionate care offered by all the vets and office staff. Last week I brought Zulu in for blood work for an upcoming major dental and I was very nervous about the procedure because Zulu is a senior cat. Dr. Farly was incredibly understanding and patient with all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed at all. Without even appearing to review her notes, she remembered Zulu's previous visits and meds and took me step by step through what a dental would involve and Zulu's possible reactions to the sedatives. Yesterday the dental went very well even though they had to do some extractions. Today I already received a call to see how Zulu was doing! Zulu is already eating and seems brighter and happier than ever. I really feel I could not pick a better team for my cats' care!

Our cat is having a bad reaction to the vaccines provided by this clinic. He was healthy a week ago and now he is very very sick. What should have been a routine check up before a neuter, turned into a $260 visit including a needed medication, and multiple shots before the procedure, which had to be rescheduled multiple times due to a "leukemia outbreak". We were assured that we would see a reaction in the first 48 hours. The more research i did, the more i found that sometimes it can take longer to show, each cat is different. They tried brushing it off and saying it could be something else within that week. Which if the case then my other two female cats would have also had the same sickness. The first time we went in to this clinic we were assured we would be able to do the neuter without the vaccines, but once we got into the check up we were told that they wouldnt be able to opperate without them. At that point i voiced my concerns with the vet about the vaccine at which point she reassured me everything would be fine. I'm a very dissatisfied customer and would rate lower if possible.after inquiring about proceeding without vaccines because it is our belief and also an indoor cat.were ancient cats vaccinated, no, We were told they would not perform the procedure unless we did so and he's having a bad reaction a week later, he has difficulty breathing, very bad cough, loss of appetite, wont drink, really lethargic, very very sleepy. He is a 5 month old really happy and playful cat which we rescued at 7 weeks old and we only feed the best which was also put in question at the visit they would prefer you to buy a food that has had multiple recalls and not at all healthy for your animal. I feel very guilty for my cat getting this sick because of being forced into something I voiced my concerns about and now I am currently at the animal hospital trying to help him

There is great customer service and then there is service that goes so above and beyond that it is hard to find the right words to label it. What I do know, this is one of the most outstanding gesture of empathy I have ever experienced from a place of business.
Two weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our beloved cat Kiefer Kasmoon.
Last week we received a beautiful condolences card from the Guelph Cat Clinic (which is the vet clinic he went to for many years) with personalized handwritten messages about Kiefer.
Today we received a letter from the Ontario Veterinary College UOG, notifying us that to further honour Kiefer’s memory, one of his vets made a monetary donation in his name to the OVC Pet Trust. My husband and I are both so touched and frankly speechless. The fact that the Guelph Cat Clinic would go out of their way to honour our cat in such a meaningful way means the world to us and is the best Christmas gift we could have ever gotten. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and care you showed our cat throughout the years while he battled all sorts of ailments. We are so grateful to know he got the best care available and are happy we can continue to bring our other cat Sushi to you for years to come.

Our cat was less than enthused to be visiting the vet for a check-up and vaccination, however, Dr. Poremba was fantastic! She was a patient, calming presence despite our cat being a bit uncooperative. Dr. Poremba was very thorough - she took the time to explain everything she observed and was very knowledgeable in providing information and answering questions. Thank you so much to Dr. Poremba and the Guelph Cat Clinic team for being so welcoming and helpful!

I recently moved to Guelph and am so happy I found the Guelph Cat Clinic! My cat has a congenital nose deformity and have been full of boogers since I started fostering her two+ years ago. It would be more convenient for me to go to a mixed practice clinic, so my cat and dog could see the same vet near my house, but because of my cat's medical issues, I thought it would be better for her to go to a practice that specializes in cats, and am so happy with this decision. The vet was lovely with her, and my cat was super comfortable in the clinic, as pictured. With only one visit, she is nearly booger free! They even phoned to follow up a few weeks after our appointment, to see how the medication was going.

I recently needed Royal canin liquid recovery diet for cats and the Guelph cat clinic pulled through by finding some while it was on back order. Unfortunately, my baby passed away and I was able to return the food for a refund. I recommend the Guelph cat clinic for cat health needs. Thank-you to them again.

So glad I picked the Guelph cat clinic for my lily. She has just finished her “kitten plan” and spay. She was so well taken care of. Staff are always a pleasure to talk to, they have listened to my concerns and have given me great advice. Prices seem very reasonable.
Plus they have birds, which lily loves!

We have seen really good vets here and a vet that we were not happy with. We have been a client for a long time, and had them do 2 euthanasia at home for us - they did an exceptional job in these cases. Overall we would recommend

Huge thanks to this clinic and especially Zoe, who really helped out in providing care for my 19-year old cat. I really can't thank you enough for working with me and being so kind and accommodating!

Dr. MacGregor and all of her staff were amazing today. They took the time to work with my Cat, explain everything in detail and charged less than what I know it should have been (I worked in a clinic for many years so I'm familiar with the pricing layout). My Cat is usually reactive, unpredictable and a little shady towards people he doesn't know but he was very comfortable with them. Highly recommend Guelph Cat Clinic for all Cat owners. They truly care about the Cats and the owners

They know cats. We travelled over two hours to see Dr. McGregor. Finally, a clinic that cares. Quick response, getting an appointment was easy and happened much sooner than I expected during these times. Knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. GCC is our new vet.

We took our Holly to see Dr Manning at the cat clinic in guelph, she was having issues with her teeth, Dr Manning was very informative about what treatment our kitty would need, and was very compassionate and caring towards our kitty, would highly recommend the Cat Clinic to anyone with a kitty. Very appreciative for the great service

This vet clinic is amazing. I only take my cat to this clinic. Not only do they specialize in cats, the staff are compassionate and caring. I drive in from kitchener to take my Khloe to see them for both check ups and when shes not feeling well. Rates are reasonable and are comparable to other non-specialized vets.

The staff are all very kind and seem to genuinely care about their clients.

Appointments are thorough and not rushed. Communication is fantastic, which is extremely important to me when it comes to caring for my cats and understanding their medical needs.

Dr. Maggs was recommended to me by several friends, and she certainly lived up to the high expectations.

The clinic is also very clean, and my boys liked the birds in the exam rooms.

Love this place, very clear that they truly care about the cats. Also less stressful for your kitties than a regular vet that can have lots of doggos around. They even have birds in their rooms Tor 'catertainment' as they call it. Would recommend!

This clinic couldn't care more about your cats if they were their own. One of my cats has special needs and they didn't treat him for a second like he was different, they were very affectionate to him and he was super calm around them. I hate vets and I've lived all over Ontario, but I can say they are probably the best clinic I've ever been to. I've even called to ask a question and spoken directly to vet without paying a penny. I wouldn't blink to trust them with any of my cats, they know their stuff and they have the kitties best interest at heart. Fair prices and get staff.

We left with arthritis medication for our cat that we didn’t intend to buy, (we were there about a cyst,) but at a reasonable price. The vet was very friendly to my son and listened to what he had to say about the cat since he spends the most time with her.

Dr. Farley was amazing! Found out my one cat has a heart murmur (which rockwood vet) did not tell me about.

My little guy, Ronald, loves going to see Dr. Farley and the staff at the Guelph Cat Clinic! The staff is so warm and friendly every time we go in and they are so knowledgeable and ready to answer any and all questions! Would definitely recommend

I have been to many animal clinics and vets over the years. I’m absolutely blown away with the care and compassion of this group of people that work at Guelph Cat Clinic. The vets take their time and answer all questions and provide you with the best options. Follow up afterwards is always amazing. Never rushed, and they really make an effort to get to know your cat and it’s personality. It’s evident in everything they do of their pure love of animals. I highly recommend Guelph Cat Clinic.

Great cat-centric care in downtown Guelph. Getting appointments and urgent appointments is never an issue. Vets are highly knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Staff seem to genuinely care about their feline patients. Follow up is excellent — we generally get calls after appointments to be sure all is going well with our kitty again. Pricing seems fair, as fair as one finds in veterinary medicine these days, anyway. Highly recommend.

I have had the best experience here. The staff are prompt, friendly and extremely professional. I had to take my cat in for bowel issues and Dr. Farley and the team went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of and I felt comfortable. Everything was explained to me with good detail and compassion, even when I asked a lot of questions. They followed up more than once and continue to give her the best care. I would highly recommend for any services your cat requires.

I explicitly said not to administer a vaccine and they did without telling me and then when I showed up to get my cat they charged me for it. Extremely unprofessional and unethical I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone EVER. Stay clear
