Guelph Family Martial Arts

This studio is awesome, we signed up over covid and have loved it. We heard about this program and studio from many people like many of you. They are very patient, caring and true professionals in everything they do. The accomplishments are well-known but the dedication to this community is remarkable. My little ones are very shy and they took the time to ensure they felt comfortable. Awesome job!

From the very moment you walk into this studio, you will feel like family. From the way they treat every student and all family members, it’s very refreshing. The instruction is engaging, informative and most of all fun for students. That incorporates martial arts detail with development and enhancement of fine and gross motor skills. The lessons taught by the instructors of being a kind, empathic and well rounded student extend beyond the studio. Quality instruction and service always! I would highly recommend this studio. Highly highly highly recommend!

Sensei Nathan is an excellent, encouraging teacher! He's very good with kids as well as adults. He is also a repeat world champion, so he knows his stuff!

We utilize our program to develop a variety of life skills for students of all ages. The studio is a fun, nonjudgmental and engaging environment.

For a while I’ve wanted to try martial arts but never found a place that was inciting enough to commit to. As an adult, and first timer in martial arts, my experience could’ve been uncomfortable at my age but Sensei Nathan and Ms. Skoufis have created an incredible atmosphere. From day one, I’ve felt welcome. The instruction is world class and very applicable to all ages. They teach a variety of martial arts, which I really appreciate and having a multi-world champion lead you feels pretty good too. This place has exceeded my expectations.

The program is innovative and unlike any other. For a martial arts studio and an owner to be named the recipient for likely the most prestigious award to win “Young Innovator Award” shows the success. Well deserved and many more to come! Guelph loves you! We love you!

Guelph Family Martials Arts has been such an incredible experience for our family! Whether you're an adult that's always wanted to to try it, or just for your kids (or both) I highly recommend you train here! Speaking from experience as a former 3rd degree martial artist, it doesn't get better than Sensei Nathan and Sensei Sophie. Go in-person and get more information (there's family classes!), they are so friendly & welcoming and amazing with children of all ages. Whether it's for fitness, self-defense, confidence/self-esteem, focus/discipline it's all here!

The absolute best, I did martial arts as a child and it was nothing like this. Dedicated and professional staff with a beautiful inviting and clean facility. Not to mention instructor by a multiple time world champion!
