The picture here says it all! I mean, just look at that burger: It’s loaded and the vegan cheeze properly melted! Now how about I tell you that it tasted better than it looks? YEAH. This was arguably one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while, and having come to Guerilla Burger twice, I can confidently say that their Jerk Burger hits the “grubby” spot when craving a burger. Get yourself a Jerk Burger (vegan) if you want the one from the photo! Bonus points: the staff have been consistently friendly here, so you’re in good hands!
Hands down the best vegan burgers in Toronto. Never disappoints in terms of flavour, I love the Notorious. We’ve been getting take out burgers here for over a year and they are always consistently delicious.
Amazing burger and when they say loaded they mean LOADED nachos! A little hard to find, but took a sec and got the best vegan food on Toronto! Great service and came fairly quickly, just that our burger (The Poppa) was a lil underwhelming but nevertheless still a great dinner!
The whole family has a reason not to hate the drive to Toronto now. A salad stock-up. We stay in the city long enough to get a couple tubs of mac and cheese and a couple hamburger salads… (w/icy cream….) Then we drive it all back to Wasaga beach and fall upon it…. Hopefully the leftovers last, but it goes fast with a pack of feral vegans wandering around. Please replace A&W worldwide…. Thank you?
Great vegan food! There are 3 different menus depending in what you are looking for, the Trdelnik are AMAZING, if you are interested in trying this very authentic Hungarian pastrie I recommend to ask for the small cone with only cinnamon. As a Mexican I'm very picky when it comes to tacos, and even though this ones aren't really authentic, they managed to create a great taste.
The only reason why I don't give this place a 5 star review is because of the amount of waste and lack of interest towards the environment they have, at my arrival they asked if I wanted to dine in or to go, I still don't understand why they asked because everything is in to go containers.
I also brought my container so I could have some ice-cream but they insisted it needed to be in a plastic one. It saddens me to know that there's a complete lack of interest to have a more ethical and caring responsability when it comes to providing food. Hope they can do better and have more policies to have less impact in the community.
Omg, we love this place! The food tasted incredible and we were so pleased with it, including Quinn (Sackeria’s 10 year old).
We ordered through Uber Eats:
Big Poppa OG Burger (2)
Nashville Hot Chicken
Mac and Cheese side (2)
Spicy Mac and Cheese side
We love that they use Beyond Meat. It’s so delicious and we prefer it more than actual meat. It’s so tasty, a good size, and definitely easy to bite into and rip apart .
Their special sauce on the burgers is…oh so delicious ! When a burger place has an amazing special sauce, it’s definitely a place to try - does anyone remember Lick’s and their “Guck sauce”? That sauce was amazing and so is this one. Try it!
The Nashville Hot Chicken had a perfect zing to it and everything went together so well with each other. The coleslaw was great and creamy enough to subtle any spiciness that was in the sandwich.
Now, this is where it gets even better. For us, mac and cheese can be a hit-or-miss type of thing. We don’t like overly loaded mac and cheese dishes and this one definitely wasn’t. They had some cream sauce at the top but it actually complimented the dish nicely not making it runny or too creamy. Where any mac and cheese dish has a compelling argument is with their cheese, especially at a vegan place. Well, their cheese was incredible! The macaroni was coated in it but it wasn’t the “gooey-cheese” type. The flavour was all there and there was no gooey-ness except for the cream they had at the top, again, which added to the dish.
This place is awesome and we are super grateful we ate here - even Quinn who’s 10 (kids are sometimes harder to impress even if they aren’t vegan!).
Thank you so much Guerrilla Burger for blessing us with all the TLC (Tender Loving Care) that we felt and tasted .
Very delicious- I enjoyed their burger. I feel that the price are reasonable and their seating are sort of cozy.
The staff was really friendly and hospitable.
I had their jerk burger and upgraded my kale salad for jerk Mac and cheese. It’s very delicious. Overall a solid meal. Makes me want to check out other vegan places more. I will be coming back for the ice cream at Eva’s original though.
Easily amongst the best burgers in Toronto. We tried the Notorious and Texas BBQ burgers. We also had the Jerk Mac and Cheeze. This place is highly recommended, not just for vegans, but everybody!
This place has the best vegan burger I've tried in Toronto. The OG burger plus the mac and cheese is an excellent combo, and you really get your money's worth. If you happen to be reading this and are not vegan, i am telling you right now that it will be better than an omni burger.
Hate to leave a bad review for a restaurant, but I’m kinda shocked at the food I just got from them (via Uber eats). I ordered the chili and it is absolutely inedible. I don’t think this is how the dish is supposed to be, but rather this is a batch gone wrong or more likely a very old one. It tastes like it’s been reheated dozens of times as it somehow tastes burnt, very sour and all vegetables turned into one mushy mess. I also hate to waste food, but this is not a reason to sell it to customers who will end up throwing it away anyway. Leaving this here mainly with the hopes that the restaurant will implement better policies and won’t lose more customers over this.
They have a large variety of vegan burgers with really cool flavours. We had the mac and cheese burger and the jerk burger with pineapple in it. Both were delicious!
For my money - the best veggie/vegan burger in Toronto. It's almost comically delicious. I've done eat-in or delivery at least 20 times by this point, and I think I've settled on "The Mac" with a side of combat chili as my favourite pairing, and one I could recommend to anybody ordering for the first time.
One thing to be mindful of - there isn't much dine-in seating here.
Nice variety of vegan burgers, sides, and sweets, but not worth 14.99 per burger tho.
Whoever is trying to visit this place, know that this place is not labeled Guerilla but instead Eva's original. Even inside the restaurant, you won't find the sign guerilla anywhere, which is weird.
I was looking forward to trying a new vegan spot, but was disappointed after I tried their new limited Vegan Nashville Hot Chik'n Sandwich this week - the bun was burnt, as well as the chik'n pieces, so it made it difficult for me to enjoy the food to the fullest.
What was more of a concern was that the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in over a year, which is surprising given how well the rest of the store looked. This made me not even want to stay and wait for my meal to be prepared.
The notorius burger was excellent! I'd definitely recommend it. The nashville hot chik'n sandwich had an excellent texture, but the flavour needs work (i.e, too much salt in the toppings, crust around the chik'n didn't really add anything). The family size mac and cheese, although had potential, was just far too salty and spicy for me to taste the sauce on top and other elements of the dish were completely overshadowed.
This was my order: 1 The Notorious Burger 1 Nashville Hot Chik'n Sandwich 1 Family Size Mac and Cheeze
