Absolute worst customer service ever!

Was here two weeks ago and needed a suit for a funeral and received the absolute worst customer service.
I was trying to ask questions and the woman constantly walked away but the final straw was when I finally was able to talk to her to finalize a sale, she took a phone call and walked away again! At this point I just walked out angrily because I’d rather not give my business to those who clearly cannot provide any sense of service to those in their store.

I gave $150 for alteration of three items that doesnt fit.my daughter couldn't even put the dress on. I called them back and told the problem they said we will call you back soon with the solution.its been more than a month no call till now. I travelled all the way from Guelph to find a reliable tailor but i unfortunately lost the money and time with these people.they are very expensive and the job wasn't even done.

Best Lehangha's i have found in GTA, and they stitched my outfits so nicely. Didn't know that they do custom stitching also trust me now it's gonna be my one stop shop.

I can not say enough about how amazing, kind, and helpful the staff were here. Huge selection of beautiful fabrics. I had a custom Shalwar Kameez suit made for me, plus a shirt & some alterations. The job they did was incredible! Thank you, Thank you Thank you xoxo

I have enjoyed my time purchasing my outfits for my son's summer wedding. Neha was great with selection, service, and offered great design suggestions.

Typically I do not write bad reviews but my family and I received terrible service here and I just had to say something. My family and I traveled to Canada to purchase clothing for an upcoming wedding. When we walked into the store we were greeted by several sweet women and we shared our vision & our short timeline. Once we found something, we were about to complete our transaction until the owner came up to us to charge us double the price for alterations and the clothing. After negotiating with the owner we paid and trusted them with our clothing pieces. When we came to pick our items up, the suits were altered terribly. The zipper was broken, pieces of fabric was missing, patches of different color fabric was added and when we addressed our concerns to the owner he completely flipped out on us. He provided ZERO accommodations and he was unbelievably rude— even his staff was shaking in fear of him! Based on the reviews from this location and his other location it seems like this is a common pattern. There are nicer places in this plaza, so disappointed with this company. The owner turned what was supposed to be a happy and exciting moment to a terrible one.

I absolutely love Gurukirpa! I’m a very picky person and have a certain style when it comes to salwar suits and gowns, but even then, Sonika, Sakshi, and Kiran were able to figure out what i liked and pulled out the most beautiful designs! We bought so many different outfits, and it was all worth it! The tailors (Jas, Davinder, Bubbly, Aman, Harpreet, and aunty ji) did such an amazing job, we are so incredibly happy with their service, we will certainly be coming back! Thank you so much!

Gurukirpa is the best Indian drses store in all of the GTA! The service was impeccable, the quality of product was unmatched, the seamstress was helpful, skilled and timely and the price was fair and reasonable. I will shop nowhere else for my Indian dresses.

We went to several places in and around this plaza looking for clothes for our kids and Gurukirpa Gore had the most extensive amount of selection for our 10 year old daughter. Auntyji (she said to put that in my review) was so polite, humble and patient with us and our daughters and took the time to show what we liked and also what she thought would look great on our kids for the type of event we were shopping for. Needless to say we ended up buying clothing from here. The way Auntyji approached us and our kids you know she cares about what she does and most importantly she cares about the kids being comfortable in a dress. She also offered alteration in house with a tailor onsite which was a + for me. Not that we used their alteration services but she did offer that if for whatever reason the dress doesn’t fit well before the event we can come back to her and she will help us with the alteration.

I would definitely come back here again and recommend the store to anyone looking to go to place that puts customers first no matter the work. Auntyji must have shown us about 40 different styles of dresses and not in a catalogue, actually open them all up and show it to us.

Great selection and variety. The service was personalized and Babli did a great job alteration on my two piece outfit.

I walked into this store and immediately I was greeted by Kiran, who patiently showed me multiple options of suits and lehnga in my price range. She was kind, helpful and accommodating. She even helped me beautifully match my Lehnga with a blouse. I have never experienced such great customer service.

This store saved my lenga! Another tailor completely ruined my lenga top so I came to this store to see if they could fix it. They took the time to buy new fabric that matched my lenga skirt. They matched the colour and material exactly and tailored it the way I wanted it all for an affordable price. They put a lot of effort in to make sure I loved it!

Stunning dresses, beautiful fabrics, and excellent service. With the help of the amazing staff at Gurupkirpa we found the perfect dresses for my 11 year old twins. The alterations were perfect and just in time our first Indian wedding - great job! Thank you!

After searching through 15 stores trying to find a lengha for my daughter, Guru Kirpa was able to custom make a lengha with gorgeous fabric within a week! Many many thanks to the store owners, Sonika and tailor Kulbir for making it possible on such short notice and quality stitching done on Maya’s lengha. Highly recommended Looks fabulous!

This place is a gem. The first store i went for my wedding shopping, and they have set the bar high. Great customer service (especially from Neha) who was patient, kind and considerate when I was trying to figure out the styles and colors I wanted. We spent over 4 hours in the store and all the while she was organized and provided good fashion guidance. I selected one of my wedding pieces from this store and envision buying a few more soon. Prices are reasonable and lots of variety in collection. Highly recommend this store. I know I'll be back in a heartbeat.

Amazing staff (Bubbly, Sonika). Both were very helpful and gave honest opinion about the outfits. The store has great variety in line with latest fashion, strategically placed for shopper's ease. I would definitely recommend the boutique for traditional Indian outfits.

Bikram and Neha were very helpful with helping us design bridesmaids anarkali's. We were able to customize everything from the materials to the borders of the outfits. Bikram kept in contact with us the whole way. Will definitely come back again!

For anyone looking for bridal lehenga around GTA, this is the place to go specially if you want good quality, fashionable, and reasonably priced lehenga. Most places I have looked in and around Toronto/GTA are overpriced ($2000-$3000 minimum) for the quality of bridal lehengas. If you're like me, and prefer not to shop online or at overpriced stores, this is a hidden gem. They offer tailoring services when you buy their products, and they do an amazing job at that! I got both my wedding and reception lehengas from here! Would definitively recommend!

I went gurukirpa store last week in search my wedding lengha. I did shoparound in the town but did not find best option. But, when I visit at gurukirpa store they greet us with very happy face and showed lenghas with very patience. I find best option for me as it looking for me. The middle aged Lady is the most rude salesperson I've ever seen. She was demeaning us with her tone and her attitude. When I tried the pants (churidar) one side was not going through my ankles and I told her the same and then she was like that is not possible. I mean I literally tried it and then told her. She was so much into arguing that she thought it was the first time I went and tried some traditional outfit. Then my girlfriend literally showed the difference of sizes of one leg of the pants with the other leg and she was so dumb to prove her point she started insulting my girlfriend and kept going.

We went for my daughter's wedding dresses and other family members. The collection is very trendy, customer service is awesome and reasonably priced. Neha and auntyji were very helpful.

This review is long overdue! Vikram has literally been my lifesaver in every outfit emergency. I had countless outfits altered last minute for my own wedding, and so did my friends and family. They have always accommodated us, no matter how busy they may be, and always done an AMAZING job at the alterations! I am so so happy they were recommended to me and couldn’t be happier with their work on my wedding outfits last year, and this year on my outfits for my cousin’s wedding. Shout-out to Gurbir for turning around a super-heavy lehnga, perfectly altered, in less than 24 hours! Also appreciate their honesty when I ask for something ridiculous and they tell me to save my money lol Literally the only place I trust. Will be seeing you guys before the next wedding very soon)

Very fancy and always some nice collection. I am plus size it is pretty hard to find me ready made suit but Neha made me feel comfortable and found me the dress that not only fits but also the one I love.

There is a great variety of modern outfits, styles and sizes that were budget friendly. There is also an onsite tailor which is convenient should you need alterations done. There was a fantastic promotion going on with 30-40% off and my family and I were able to get multiple outfits while staying within our budget! Sonika, Neha and Bubbly were extremely helpful in choosing the perfect outfit. I highly recommend shopping here for a pleasant and friendly shopping experience. Went there looking for a evening dress and their customer service was superb! The owner is really nice. He even put together a custom piece for me. I really liked one outfit but hated the shawl and pants that it came with. He went to the other store location, found a beautiful shawl that went really beautiful with the outfit and I was extremely happy with it. They made alterations on the spot for me and and their prices are quite reasonable. Will be shopping again!
