I can’t give more than 5 stars. It is very difficult these days to find a good dealer and honest sales people. Rob has been extensively helpful and did a lot of work to make this deal happen for us. We got the best value and also something we were looking for. Rob Harris is an amazing gentle man who took care of all our requests in a timely fashion. Eventhough the uses car manager disappointed us with unrealistic numbers and also the showroom was filled with demotivated group of fellas, Rob, Beth and couple of others at service like Joe was doing a great job to keep our timebound deals happen.
We already recommended to a dozen people already about Rob and Gus brown. Surprisingly many knows Rob because of his highly professional and hard working nature!

I’ve had terrible experience with their vehicle’s issue after issues. Over 20k in repairs my vehicle 2018 GMC Denali with 160km No need for it. As for the ppl at Gus brown they are great. Thanks happy new year.

My husband and I have purchased 5 new vehicles between the Whitby location and the Port Perry location in the last 4 years. My family as a whole has purchased 9 new ones in 5 years from the Whitby location. My husband and I currently have a 2023 GMC Sierra AT4 and a 2023 GMC Yukon Denali XL. When picking up my husbands truck, the floor mats were missing and the step bars were not installed. Not one person advised us of this prior to picking up the truck. After we got the keys, and went to get into the truck noticed there were no floor mats and the step bars weren’t installed. My husband even had to put on his license plates. This truck was $80,000.00 and this is the experience we got. This truck was also pre-ordered.
Fast forward to a few weeks later, we get the call that the Yukon we ordered was in. We make the trip there to pick it up and the rims were not the ones we ordered. Again, no courtesy call about it. We were told GM swaps out options if they’re not available. No one told us that. I’m given the keys and told to do my Onstar call. While completing Onstar, I noticed the vehicle was still in transport mode which meant the PDI was never completed or, they never took it out of transport mode. Again, this is how you deliver a $90,000 vehicle to a customer? I’m really not happy with the customer service received from sales right down to the service department. Unless something changes, myself and my family (Cotton) will not purchase anymore new vehicles from this dealership.

He has been wonderful to work with. Took the time to understand my (very picky) needs and get me exactly what I was looking for. Always diligent in ensuring that the deals make sense.

No customer service, 3 Yukon are standing outside, one said sold, other two are sold as well according to them but no sign on it and almost misleading passing by customers, by displaying as those cars are available for sale. Not sure why misleading buyers if you don’t want to sell. Literally no one wanted to talk to me until I told them what vehicle I drive. I will try different dealership.

Unfortunately I have Brought my truck here for 2 different issues both times they were not solved on the first visit when I was told the problem was fixed.

Engine light on sat in the waiting area for a couple hours was told everything was fixed. I got into my truck and drove off only to notice the engine light was still on… you’d think they would check the engine light was gone before saying the problem was fixed. Had to go back for another appointment.

Tow/Haul light kept coming on, on its own. They replaced the turn dial and said it should be fixed. It has actually gotten worse in recent weeks. And now reading online it’s a common issue with my truck and it has to do with a orange wire in the steering wheel that is most likely broke. And needs to be replaced…. So I need to bring the truck in for ANOTHER visit for a issue that was “fixed” safe to say I will be trying another dealership.

I purchased a 2020 gmc Seirra from this dealership. Gus Brown was very Profesional and the whole expirence was great! I returned to have a repair done to the truck one year later which was covered by warranty. I was amazed at how quickly they had the repair done. The staff are very professional and helpful. I will be returning to this dealership on the future! Sergio who works in Service was especially professional and customer oriented.

Worst dealer ship ever.bought a 2018 Chevy equinox took a month to get a paint stick for the previous scratches then was lied to about the spare key only to find out the previous owner lost it and now we got to bite the cost of a new fob key when the sales guy Blair told us it would not cost us anything. Do not trust this dealer ship shady as hell. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED. Pretty bad they lie to.the clients to make a sale

My 1st time there. I took my Mazda for oil change.and wow the mechanic was great he did some minor work with our even asking free of charge.and I have asked my Mazda dealer to fix that and they didn't saying it's fine.and he also talked with me explained some things.great place.the guys at the service nothing special.but their prices are great.and I will definitely be coming back. I give them SIX stars.

So that was my review from 2 years ago. Now i will give them 4 stars because the mechanic who drove my car had dirty hands and when he put my sun visor up he left oil marks on there.no its not a big thing and it should not happen.oher than that oh yea id go back.

My experience at Gus Brown Buick GMC was exceptional! My sales consultant Jamie Flood went above and beyond through the process, and made it the most stress free purchase Ive ever made. All of the staff there are very welcoming and helpful. They all work amazingly well together and really have you covered every step of the way.
I never write reviews but felt the need to do so - I was treated that well!

I'm not happy with Gus Brown I had an appointment made 4 a recall that was a safety issue one minute I have an appointment in a part the next minute I don't and I'm told that my appointments cancelled because there's no part and then they turn around and tell me that I'm not in queue what does that tell you they lied to me. I had to go further up the chain 2 GM Canada to make a complaint. Chris Brown called me 10 minutes later and found the part and found time for me to come in and do the necessary recall I'll never go there again not even for a recall I'll go somewhere else

I bought my 2020 GMC Sierra in July of 2020. About 2 weeks after we picked it up, I started having issues with the car, the main one: the radio system (including the screen) randomly shuts off. I took it in a few times and they assured me it just required a simple upgrade and off I went. Currently, I’ve brought the vehicle in for this same unresolved issue over 16 times in 7 months. Each time they have provided me a rental car, which although I appreciate it, has been a huge inconvienience to me financially- I bought a truck because I work with construction and require the transportation of my tools and equipment. I stated this fact every single time when booking service appointments, and only ONE time did they have a truck for me to borrow while they tried to explore a solution.
In November, I spoke to higher GM officials so that larger action could be taken- my concerns were minimized and invalidated and they requested to take my truck and run more tests on it (tests which had already been performed). At that time, they kept my truck for about a month - 2 days after I picked it up, the entire system shut off once again. Now, GM officials are ignoring my calls and emails for a resolution, and leaving the service department to try to deal with an issue that they are clearly not able to resolve. I was asked to bring the truck in today; I arrived at the agreed-upon time as they assured me the rental vehicle would be a truck and present. Imagine my surprise when I arrived and discovered that there was no vehicle awaiting me and was taken to the rental location after having to walk there, and find out that the service attendant had called over and requested a rental for me as I was walking there (so it was not pre arranged as promised).
Each of these 16+ times that I have left my vehicle there, I have lost countless hours of work and have been unable to properly get to and from my job due to lack of transportation for my tools required for work. I have told GM this but they clearly don’t seem to care, as I have had no clear response from anyone and no resolution to the *clear* manufacturer defect that my vehicle came with.

I bought my gmc van 2019 last November 1,2019 everything was so fast i got it right away. I ask Blair and the Lady who is doing the paper works if everything is perfect and the said yeah everything is Perfectly. After i got the van i noticed the hab cap was missing and scratches the front passenger side and the passenger door.to be honest Blair was awesome and the lady and Blsire said just come and swing in and we love to help you. Then we come and we missed work and the guy said management hold off the hab cap order. I was so upset.

They will help you out here. Better trade deal than 3 other dealerships so I'd say they're good. Service isnt as good as sales though.

This is officially worst experience I have ever had with a Car dealership. I would not recommend this dealership. I bought my vehicle last year and it has been nothing but problems since the day I got it. They sold me a lemon and I have been bring back to them to fix from the very next week of me getting the vehicle and they tried to charge me to fix it even though It was under warranty.

Will never deal with Gus Brown Whitby again. We purchased what we thought was an accident free 2012 Terrain in 2014 at an accident free price. When we traded it in at another GM dealership this fall, it was then that we found out that it had been in an accident in 2013 and that there was over $11,000 in damages to the front end. Never at anytime did they disclose that information to us. We were informed by OMVIC that any damage over $3000 needs to be disclosed. We buy our vehicles at GM dealerships to avoid those kind of issues. When that information came to light, the trade in value dropped significantly and some dealers didn't even want the vehicle anymore. While Gus Brown did buy the vehicle at an accident free trade in after we called and complained, the trust in that dealership is gone.

Purchased a 15 sierra from Glenn Towns this week was very happy with my purchase, the price was right the kms were low for the price and every sales persons and representative from Gus Brown I interacted with were very kind and knowledgeable. Would recommend Gus Brown to anybody looking to buy a new or used vehicle. Also they had the vehicle ready for pickup within a few days which was great! Glad i stayed with GM!

I called the parts department with a tire quote from another GM dealer and asked if they will match the quoted price. I was told yes they will. The parts guy was great.he ordered my new all season tires when I asked him if he could do that for me. He then forwarded me to service and I booked the install/balance for the next day.
Sergio the service rep is a great guy who did a great job in customer satisfaction, service and invoicing my tires and install. I am from Oshawa and used a GM dealer closer to my home. I had a poor experience there and wont be back. Thanks parts guy (sorry forgot your name but had shorts on Oct. 9) and thanks Sergio for a friendly job. I will make Gus Brown my go to dealer.

My husband and I just bought a new GMC 2019 2500 from this dealership. The first truck located fell through because of another dealership's unprofessional actions. Our salesperson was Jamie Flood. He went out of his way to deal with this and found us another truck. He was professional and caring. The front office staff were very friendly. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great experience for car or truck buying!

Our 2015 Buick Encore had jammed seat belt and this was a big problem as we had to pick up grandchildren at school. Service Rep Sergio quickly analysed problem and got resources to fix issue and get me back on road to pick up our precious cargo. Excellent work, Thank you!

We purchased an "almost" new Buick Verano from Gus Brown Buick in March 2018. We love the car but quickly realized that the vehicle was not delivered with the expected level of care. I contacted the dealer to learn that the salesperson no longer worked there. I was passed onto Eric Bint (sales manager) and he made note of my concerns. Eric went above and beyond to rectify the issues with the initial delivery and make the second delivery experience a really good one. Mistakes happen but it is how they are resolved that really matters. I have no hesitation recommending Gus Brown Buick.

One of the most friendliest and courteous staff I've ever encountered at any car dealerships. Glenn T.was our salesman for a used vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and helpful right from the start. He took the time to ensure that the car we had purchased had everything in working order, right down to testing that every USB outlet was okay. And to top off the great service, Glenn even placed new batteries in our remote control and provided us gas money to ensure we started our journey in our vehicle with a full tank of gas. I highly recommend coming to this dealership and asking for Glenn if you are looking for a used vehicle.
