Gymnastics Mississauga

Hi we registered our kids with Gymnastics Mississauga in summer program however due to change in circumstances we moved out of Mississauga. They got the cash upfront and now they are saying that they will not return money back. I don't know how that is fair. Is there anyone who wants to takeover our refund amount. We will be pleased and can provide discount too.

My daughter went here for 2 years and it has been amazing experience. The coaches are really good, the facility is great and they encourage kids for advance competitive levels as well. Overall, I am very satisfied

We had a wonderful time with our school group here yesterday. The staff met us at the doors to make sure we found our way smoothly. The coaches were kind, engaging and encouraging. They also helped guide our volunteers in the best ways to help the students. Our students couldn't stop talking about the different challenges and activities they faced with pride. The students gave special compliments to the instructors, foam pit and parachute. Thank you Gymnastics Mississauga for an amazing field trip.

Never in the years I have been choosing places to celebrate birthday parties I had this stress free, "come in", "it's all yours" kind of atmosphere. It felt very private and all with assistance at the same time. So I wanted you all to know that that alone was amazing. They were ready for me as I came in early thinking I had to do a bunch of things.and nope! You had it all there ready.
The staff and the coach assigned were just wonderful. All of the people I dealt with were just so easy going and happy to help. It felt like I owned the room. No rush getting out, no pushing for one thing or another. Pizzas on time. I can keep going.the kids were so amazed and engaged with the class. It was just great. I am very happy I chose Gymnastics Mississauga to celebrate my daughter's birthday and also her weekly training in Gymnastics. Thank you.

This place is unorganized they have no idea how to run this facility! Daniel has no people skills and lack of communication with his members. Very unprofessional and unfriendly environment for a family facility.

My 4 y/o started gymnastics two months ago and is absolutely loving it! I can see him being stronger and more confident

My 6 year old son’s birthday was so fantastic here! All of the kids loved being in the gym and trying out new things with their coaches. The trampolines are always a huge hit and the foam pits. It’s such an easy birthday party to have as a parent- all you have to do is bring the cake! Absolutely a great and affordable place to have a very successful and enjoyable birthday party!

All my four kids took part in Gymnastics Mississauga Competitive Program since 2019 and they love it! The club staff is extremely professional and the coaches very competent. Artistic Gymnastics have been extremely beneficial to my children physical development and as a Family we treasure being part of Gymnastics Mississauga Community.

Very upset and disappointed that my 6 year old daughter (who has Noonan Syndrome) was made fun of and pushed during the April 18th camp day class. We received no calls or info on this from Gymnastics Mississauga. Very disappointing. I will wait for the parents at the next class and address this myself since Gymnastics Mississauga is incompetent.

This is a great training center with an amazing environment. I've been a gymnast here for 12 years from recreational - national level and I love it here.

I have been a gymnast for 12 years and this is the best place to practice and enjoy the sport. From recreational to competitive.

I have been a gymnast at Gymnastics Mississauga for as long as I can remember; I grew up there. It was one of the best experiences of my life; the coaches are great, the equipment is excellent, and the environment is very welcoming. I have also coached recreational gymnastics there; many of the coaches are former gymnasts from the program, so they are well versed and knowledgeable about the sport. I know firsthand that the staff works hard and diligently to keep everything running smoothly at the gym.

We have been members of this Club for over 10 years. The coaches are great and the facilities are world class. I like the fact that they have been in business for over 50 years and are affiliated with the City of Mississauga. This is a great not for profit organization that really focuses on the athletes.

Edited to add: I was contacted and confirmed with the gym that the mistake was certainly on their end regarding my son's wrongful placement despite their reply below.

Unfortunately our experience didn't live up to expectations. We first encountered an issue when our son was placed in the wrong class, an admin error it seems that was not realized until the 8th lesson by which time my son was accustomed to his class and did not want to change classes. Organization appeared lacking overall though at this location. The coaches should have a better system of organizing the gymnasts at the start of class following the warm up. A lot of the children, like my son, are too young to know exactly where they need to be all on their own. For children 6 and under there should be a clearer way of ensuring the kids are going to the right coach- name tags, sign in done with the parents etc. There are so many ways to do this!

Another concerning observation we made was the lack of genuine interest of the coaches in the children. They were dismissive and unenthusiastic and frankly, they looked bored which is definitely not the right attitude for gymnastic coaches. Many of the coaches seemed easily irritated with the children and others could be seen sitting down at any opportunity even as the children were doing tumbles and flips requiring assistance. One wore a full winter jacket during classes and would sit down away from the kids without monitoring whether they were following the proper sequence at all.

I also often observed children bullying one another with no interference from the coaches. Older children pushing around younger ones and younger kids arguing with one another. This is not what we send out kids to gymnastics to do. Perhaps the coaches are too young to realize their responsibilities in these situations. As parents we found this really irritating and hard to watch.

We will not be bringing our son back to Gymnastics Mississauga because of our experience.
I do hope they and make some much needed changes.

It is a wonderful place for kids My two years son has just joined the Gymnasium and he is enjoying every single step.
I would also appreciate the instructor Marta for her tremendous efforts and hard work.

Great experience for kids. Coaches attitude toward children and sport is amazing. Highly recommend!

I love this gym. It has amazing gymnastics equipment and awesome coaching. I feel lucky to train here.

Gymnastics Mississauga has an incredible facility with amazing staff. The coaches are very technically knowledgeable, super friendly, supportive, caring, inspiring and passionate about what they do. The club's communication is excellent and everyone is trying to help create the best environment for the athletes. I highly recommend this gym.

My son has been doing competitive gymnastics for years and just started at this gym this fall. During this time, the office staff and coaches have been friendly and timely with all communications with regards to all the safety issues and scheduling to try to ensure the kids are getting some safe time on the equipment while continuing to train at home as well. It's been tough and I appreciate their efforts to keep up the kids skills while being safe -and having fun. And an amazing coaching staff too!

My daughter is in competitors program since 2017, she count the hours to go there, the key for the kids to success there is to love Gymnastics and love what they are doing. I like to thanks the head coach Mr Ren and his all team and i want to give a big thanks for the administration deportment, i dealt with them through lot of matters and issues and they handle it professionally (Teresa thank u for being very helpful and taking care of any case).

We absolutely enjoy spending our Saturday morning’s here. Our daughter loves the kindergym program and her coaches.
The things she has learned already from the fall, winter and now spring sessions is awesome. They teach them the basic fundamentals of gymnastics.
Although we can’t hear what the coaches are saying you can see how they interact and support the kids with how they learn. It’s nice to see how they come down to their level to talk with them and high five the kids.

Great program and staff. We’ve been coming for almost two years and will continue. My 4 yr old loves Martha and has learned flexibility and coordination.

My daughters have been going here since they both were 3 yrs old. They have amazing staffs and coaches. Whenever I had a issue they were more the happy to discuss it with me and address the issue right away. My older daughter had scheduling issues with her soccer and they were more then happy to refund me my payment with of course a reasonable fee since it was 4 wks in. My youngest started with the club for competitive 1 yr ago and the progress she had made is amazing. Awesome coaches and office staff!

Love this place! I've been going to open gym on Sundays (my return to gymnastics after 25 years away) and it's too much fun. They have everything you can imagine which makes working up to new skills safe & easy. The coach (Azaria) that runs open gym is also SUPER helpful. She is always happy to recommend drills or give a spot when needed.

The coaches here are really rude. My coach kept blaming everything on me even though I didn't do it but when my mom was around she forgave me for everything.

The coaches are also mostly teenagers that chat and text on their phones. They don't take their job seriously and I feel like they are mostly here to make new friends and flirt. When I asked my coach for help on my back handspring, she just told me to go figure it out myself. At Gymnastics Mississauga I didn't even learn the basics from my coach. It was my friend who taught me! We don't even learn that much. We mostly wait in line and play useless games. This place doesn't even deserve half a star!

Faced some issues was instructors being too young and don't have the power and talent to drive kids to learn
Best thing is a gentleman in charge named Daniel he is really a problem solver who took things in his own hands and got into the field to help and teach the kids with the instructor

My daughter goes to gymnastics Mississauga and LOVES it the only thing is that it’s very expensive but still worth the money!

This deserves less then 1 star. My child has been attending this place for the past 3 years and she did not even learn a basic cartwheel among many other basic skills. Her report card has been saying that she is a master in cartwheel but she can't even do at all. The coaches do not give opportunities to practice new skills or work in areas of progress. They just repeat the same routine every time and my child hasn't learnt anything. They do not split children in appropriate groups. Beginners and experienced children are out in the same group which is useless because now the experienced child is held back. Makes no sense! This shouldn't be branded as a gymnastic class, it just a play area where we pay hundreds of dollars to see our child sit around and wait for their turn.

They teach the bare minimum to the children and is too expensive compared to others. My child has been there since 2016 and during each session they only play games and make children wait in lines rather than teach them anything useful. The coaches are not experienced and only high school students. I don't blame the student coaches but supervisors don't seem to give proper instructions to them. When I went to talk to the supervisors, they lied to my face and said it was both of their's last day at work but they are still working. Even the program coordinator was unhelpful and instead of talking to her workers she told me to put my child in private lessons or leave. Overall, the customer service sucks.

This gym is insanely expensive for how little they do with the kids. Between lining up for their turn and 15 minutes of sticker time, actual activity time was closer to 15 minutes than 45.

We also had to miss multiple classes due to events at Hershey that made it impossible for us to get into the centre. We were even turned away by the parking attendant for one of the events even though we were told classes were still happening. When I asked about make up classes or a refund they rudely denied it and said it's impossible that it happened and they don't do make up classes or refunds.

Not worth the money.
