Worst dealership ever. Service dept is useless and totally unprofessional. I leashed a cx5 GT here and go far out of my way to take it elsewhere for service. As for your response-below. I did not reach out to you! Service once was done in my wife’s name who owns the car. You failed to fix issue even though it was diagnosed by another garage. Promised to follow up twice from your service dept.never did. Yesterday another ‘glitch’ in a new car warranty repair. I asked your service dept how long you would need the car they told me I could check with parts but the service rep wouldn’t.i won’t call you. Your business stinks. I have twice had to have warranty repairs done at Dufferin Mazda even though I live in Leaside!

We recently purchased our second vehicle (Mazda CX 5) from Gyro Mazda and the experience was fantastic. Our sales representative, Yohanna was very friendly, pleasant, calm and honest. He was very knowledgable and answered all the questions we had about CX 5 and other models so that we could make the right choice. He went out of the way to bring a CX 5 for a test drive to our home and ensure that it will fit in our garage with existing car. The vehicle delivery was completed in one month after signing the paper work, which was a big surprise. Yohanna also facilitated the leasing process and Anna-Maria helped us to get the paper work finalized.

Extremally unresponsive service department. I left my phone to get a quote for a service at 11: 30a.m. And 3 hours later I still have not received a call back. Very disappointing. Now the dealership is nice and shiny but the service was much better at the old location across the road

I went to Gryo Mazda and had a great experience with Yohanna. With the current prices for cars I was really not looking forward to having to buy a one. And was a bit miserable walking in. But I'm really thankful I had Yohanna as my rep. He was really knowledgeable, funny, respectful of my limits, patient and worked very hard to help me find what I was looking for. I'd definately recommend him. Made a stressful task almost enjoyable!

We had a great experience here with Erick! Right from the get-go he was friendly and attentive.

We wanted to test drive Mazda CX5- he made sure to not make us feel rushed during the test drive. In addition, he answered all our questions (and we asked him a lot).

He has a great personable personality and we felt no pressure which was one of the best parts. When we informed him we needed more time to think- he provided us with all the information needed.

Due to all the reasons mentioned above, we were able to confidently proceed with the purchase and hands down decided to go with Erick.

UPD the responder to this review did not live up to their promise to reach out to make things right

Had a smooth initial experience for switching my lease, however as the lease process progressed, the overall service got choppy.

First, I got confusing and misleading recommendations about insurance process (I'm new to the province). Only after 1+ months I'd learned that the lease is still not finalized, that led to them making two additional unsanctioned credit checks hitting my account.

Now recently, I've learned that I was given incorrect recommendation about winter tires (guess he didn't want to upsell me?). Not sure if the associate is undertrained or was intentionally misleading.
UPD responder never ended up reaching out to make things right

Lastly, I'd recently left 3 messages in attempts to schedule a service with no callbacks.

As a loyal customer of 10+ years with Mazda in Quebec with excellent service, this is my first Mazda experience in Ontario, and the quality of service was disappointing.

Yano provided all the information we needed from top to bottom so that we became familiar with all the new and amazing features on our new 2021 CX-30. He was totally knowledgeable about all aspects of the vehicle and very proficient in explaining the operation of all features and functions. He made sure to ask us if we understood everything he demonstrated before moving on to the next section. He was very professional and also personal at the same time, making us feel like valued customers. He never seemed like he was just going through the motions. He was present and enthusiastic throughout our 45 minute session.
He is an outstanding part of the Gyro Team. Outstanding service as always from initial contact with sales to final delivery of our new car!
I won’t buy a Mazda from any other dealer.

I'm not a fan of dealerships. I try to avoid them. I am, however, a fan of Gyro Mazda. The staff are fantastic! I cannot imagine going to a dealership with such helpful and caring staff. After shopping around and searching for a vehicle for a few weeks, no matter how many dealerships I tried, no place was as truthful as Gryo. Thank you Gyro Mazda team for my first new new car.

Too many silly questions, long wait time dropping off, long wait time picking up, service advisors appearing confused, then slow to act, asking the same question over again. And it wasn't just one person it was also the person who came to assist him lol it's hilarious it's like I'm the subject of a prank. But because the pickup was so slow I ended up having to cancel my following meeting. So I guess I won't be coming here again and I'll be going back to Mazda of Toronto. Maybe they just had an off-day but this is my first time so it's all I can go on. Frankly 3 stars is generous. Beautiful place though, looks great on the outside.

HORRIBLE SERVICE MANAGER!
We paid for the "15-point inspection" and our battery failed less than 1 month later. When a vehicle is inspected, I expect it to work for the foreseeable future (at least until the next maintenance checkup) And when I called to express this, I had to play phone tag with the service manager who wouldn't call back.

After finally getting ahold of her, she was incredibly defensive, took absolutely no responsibility and didn't seem to care at all that we had an awful experience. So just remember. If you pay for the "15-point inspection" it only guarantees that your car is working THAT DAY, but if your car breaks down the day after? Good luck because Gyro Mazda doesn't give a.

This was my first experience with Gyro Mazda. I had great service from Aigre. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was very happy with the experience. The car delivery was also excellent. Yano was able to explain all the details of my new car in an easy to understand way. He had great knowledge of all the available features and was able to answer any questions I had. Great experience overall and I would happily return.

I am a big fan of Mazda and always wanted to buy my dream car hassle-free. I chose Gyro Mazda since it was near my home, and boy oh boy! They did not disappoint me. We had a wonderful car buying experience at Gyro Mazda. Product Advisor Aigre Braze and Finance Manager Dallas Jopp were at the top of their game, worked with us seamlessly and shared their thoughts openly. I even got the initial quote verified with a close friend who deals with car sales and he told me the quote does not have any hidden charges. I truly appreciate the entire team for giving me and my family a pleasurable and memorable car buying process, even at a time when car inventories are low. Lorenz was fantastic to work with. He was friendly, patient, thorough and did not pressure my husband and I at all. He provided the Carfax reports of several vehicles we were interested in. He was prompt with communication and he truly understood our current situation. It was unfortunate that we were unable to buy a car with Lorenz since they didn't have what we were looking for, but if the opportunity were to arise, I would not hesitate to work with him again in the future.

Lorenz was the most attentive car salesman I have ever worked with. I never once felt pressured to buy this car. He always answered my calls and texts promptly and got the answers to my questions. I was shocked at how helpful and not « pushy » he was, unlike most car salesmen I have spoken with. I am so grateful Lorenz was able to help me buy my first car and walk me through all of the features to make sure it was the right fit for me.

I have very little interest in cars, they are a convenience to get me from point A to point B. This makes purchasing a new one an exercise in torture, but not at GYRO Mazda.

I recently went through the process of considering a new car and while I decided not to purchase, I met who may be the nicest salesperson I have ever dealt with. His name is Zein Jammal.

I’m a hard sell, because you simply can’t get me excited about a vehicle. Zein listened very carefully to what was, and what wasn’t, important to me. We narrowed down the selection and test drove a vehicle that could have been ‘mine’.

The car was nice, the pricing was excellent, and Zein could not have done anything better. He truly made me comfortable, offered all kinds of information, answered all questions and made me feel that he was on my side.

I feel bad for not buying the vehicle. Zein earned the sale. My reasons for not buying have more to do with my lifestyle. As I ease into full retirement my needs are changing. A new car didn’t make sense for me.

I have been a customer at GYRO Mazda for a very long time. I have always liked this dealership. The Service Staff are beyond helpful, Bill Kew, in particular who I have known from day 1 or whichever day I had to bring my first new vehicle in for the first time.

If I should change my mind on purchasing a new vehicle, I will be asking for Zein. No question.

I purchased my car in January of 2021. I was up-sold on the day of pick-up for the warranty package that covers dings, dent repairs, tire repairs, key fob replacement etc.

A small incident required me to inquire about using said warranty. I was booked in for a service appointment to have an adjuster look at the dent on my car on August 4th. I brought my car in the morning, 2 people looked at the dent and took photos of it. 3-4 weeks passed without hearing a single update from Gyro. I was forewarned that processing the claim and having the dent repaired would take a certain number of weeks. However, I did not expect to hear ~nothing~ about the progression of my claim. On about week 4 (early September), I called the dealership again to inquire about my case. Over the course of about 2 weeks, I left several messages for my service advisor, whom I did not hear from. After calling the dealership and explaining my situation in full detail to the receptionist, I managed to hear back from him - only to have him tell me that NO CLAIM HAD BEEN SUBMITTED. Gyro Mazda’s service department had no record of my claim or my appointment where I brought my car in for inspection. After one month.

After much apology, I was told he would be submitting my claim promptly. As of today (September 20th), my car is not fixed and I have not heard from Gyro. While I have missed a call or two from them - I have always called back and left a voicemail. I never receive a call-back.

I have made repeated attempts to work with both my service advisor and the service department manager to resolve this issue. It has been over a month and a half of back and forth with the dealership to receive the service I paid for. I have given them many opportunities to resolve this, but enough is enough.

Unfortunately I had a brutal experience with the service department from getting the run around before going in, to an unnecessary time-wasting visit on site. I wish I didn't lease from there, and won't be a returning customer.

The service at Gyro Mazda is unmatched by any other location. I have bought/leased/serviced my cars at many of the locations in and around the gta. The employees at this location take care of you. And Yano really makes sure you know how to use everything in the car!

Anna was very helpful with all the fine details and final paperwork with my lease.

Great experience with Gyro. Matt was a great sales rep to work with. Did two test drives.and he even pulled up a used car of another brand … that he knew I was considering… for me to sit in and compare… no pressure … just asked what I liked about each. That was not arrogance but confidence in his vehicle … which won out. … then he and the manager worked with me to make this work (lease).

Yano was very, very helpful orienting me to all the features of the CX-30 (GT Turbo) …. Would never figured out how to program radio, etc …

Anna in Finance was also very helpful. Explained everything clearly.

And lastly, Bill (in Service) researched whether I will be able to use my winter tires from my previous car. Unfortunately, I cannot use the rims and the tires are not a perfect fit… but it was his efforts to look into this (it took him a couple days) that I appreciated!

So in summary, a great place to get my new car!

Just purchased a 2021 Cx-5 from gyro. Danielle and Ana helped me through the whole process and should me lots of options in purchasing a vehicle. Danielle was patient and helpful by helping me test drive different vehicles and was extremely knowledgeable. Ana and her assistant made the purchase extremely easy and explained everything. Upon pick up of my vehicle, I met Yano who had walked me through all the features and helped me set up everything in the car to my liking. Just bought a used cox-5 from this store. I was worried about buying a car since it’s my first car and it’s used. But Lorenz Campos has helped me out during the whole process. The experience is so SMOOTH and PLEASANT!

They have large inventory of used vehicles and Lorenz was very patient and helpful to show me around. I also asked my to do a inspection by my mechanic since it’s a preowned car. Lorenz could coordinate quickly with the mechanic and also the service team for a fix (there were a few minor issues found by the mechanic, but it should be normal since it’s used).

Anyway their service is just so great and they make my shopping experience worry free:) Will recommend them to my friends

I was very concerned about purchasing a new vehicle during this pandemic, but the friendly, professional staff at Gyro Mazda made the entire process safe, painless and worry-free. From Moe and Yano in sales, to Anna and Alexandra in financing, I have never had a more pleasant experience at a car dealership in all my years. There was no hardball negotiating, no pushing of extended warranties or dealer add-ons, etc. - and at no point during the process did I feel any pressure. So, thank you Gyro Mazda!:)

Bought my first car in Canada here, it can always be a very stressful experience for some people like me but thanks to Alex Miller and Rico Pulgarin was an amazing experience over all. Alex Miller has an impressive costumer service handling approach, I remember I was super stressed out at one point right before signing due to a miss-understanding, she patiently made me feel confident and relax again and now I am really happy with my car. This Mazda has the best staff, I can endorse them 100%! Ask for Rico and Alex Miller and you'll be in wonderful and capable hands pre and post sale! (I bought a beautiful CX-5 btw)

My recent experience with Gyro Mazda was probably one of my best experience's dealing with a auto dealership. Justin was honest and very straight forward, great salesperson. Yano was very patience and very informative explaining the features of my new car. Danielle was very helpful with the closing of the deal, very informative and explained all the options available to me. So if you want a great deal on a car and deal with good people …. Gyro Mazda is worth the trip, Danielle would say "correct" to that statement.

I had a great experience here with my recent purchase of a 2018 Mazda 3. I purchased my previous vehicle here 10 years ago and had a great experience back then as well. I wanted to specifically recognize two people in particular that helped me throughout the process. My Product Advisor, Danish was awesome. He was so patient and spent hours with me answering all my questions throughout the negotiation process. When I went to pick up my vehicle, Yano was also great, taking the time to explain the features of my car, installing my floor liners and provided an overall great experience. I had to wait around 30 minutes as there was a paperwork error and miscommunication regarding my plates. Yano went all the way to Service Ontario and rectified the issue immediately. He also apologized profusely for the delay.

Eddie in the Service Department turned my view around of dealerships. Great staff and good cars. Would totally recommend. He helped me twice with issues that normally would have cost me hundreds at other places. Gyro it was for free.

I asked Gyro Mazda to look into the loud rattling noise from back seat Mazda3 2010. They thought that the noise was coming from the driver seat and replaced the lower control arm.

A few weeks later, I had a problem with brake around Orillia area went to a Orillia branch, Mazda. They said the boot broken and caused oil leaks due to improper installation of the lower arm controller. The repair cost for the boot was paid by Gyro Mazda.

Gyro Mazda also changed the transmission oil which I changed in the late 2016 already in Scarborough Mazda. Renee at the Gyro Mazda Manager said that it was dirty and previously it might not be completely flushed oils out which it dose't make sense to me.

It seems they are creating problems and recommending to a customer to repair them. I often felt many Mazda services do that. And I realized that they are getting a commission. I will never go back to Gyro Mazda again.

I strongly recommend looking for a second opinion if you can when they are recommending expensive repair or if you have any single doubt.

Normally negotiating a deal with a salesman at a dealership really sucks, not in this case. The pricing of vehicles is truly the same across the board. For me its all about the customer service. Saiss and Ann-Marie we're simply awesome. Don't even think of going to another dealer for a Mazda, I tried to buy a Mazda at three different dealers and GYRO is the only option. Honesty, laughs, respect, and charm won me over. Awesome experience!

If you are in the market for a SUV, do not decide on anything before test driving a Mazda CX-5 or a CX-9. We went to Gyro Mazda, since they are located in our neighbourhood and had an excellent overall experience. Staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Mike, Ana-Maria and Val were great during the entire testing and shopping experience!

From the moment I walked into the dealership until I left yesterday with my new vehicle, I felt I had know Ryan and Anna Marie for years.

So welcoming and warm personalities

Never felt the hard push but answered all my questions and made me
feel very comfortable with my decisions

I am actually looking forward to my first service so I can see them again
and they said I could contact them anytime with questions

Only regarding their repair shop.the folks are friendly and seem honest. They won't oversell you and seem genuine. They are knowledgable.
There is a shuttle to the Donlands subway. Appointments are on time and the lounge is comfortable.

The folks at Gyro are amazing. I unexpectedly and urgently had to shop for a lease and Gyro really made things happen. Kevin, the sales rep I bought from was extremely knowledgeable, very honest and to be frank, actually earned my business. I love the car I chose, but easily could have picked any one of many similar options from other manufacturers. He helped me understand what I wanted and why, and showed me the value of things I didn't think I needed. Additionally, I was an absolute mess on pick up day (forgot my license plates, the plate portion of my registration, and had the wrong amount on my bank draft) and Danielle and Janno still managed to get me into my vehicle on pick up day, even though it meant Janno having to drive me across town in rush hour on a Friday evening to get what I needed. They really went above and beyond and made a stressful (and embarrassing) event much better. Highly, highly recommend these guys.

I bought my first car from Gyro Mazda! Everyone at the location was helpful and understanding. I want to give a special thanks to Jayson and Jack as they helped me get my first car.

As my lease-end approached, I decided to get a replacement from another car brand. Even though I was not renewing my lease, or purchasing another Mazda, Gyro was excellent and fair to deal with as I returned my car.

This was my third Mazda, and I will definitely consider Gyro Mazda when my new lease is up in a few year's time.

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately greeted and set up with Ryan in sales, no waiting around. I had a few cars I was interested in. Ryan helped me make my final decision. He was never pushy and always honest, which I greatly appreciated. Overall good experience with Mazda Gyro so far.
