Gyubee is our favorite family restaurant we always come to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or just a really good food we our family and friends we enjoy the food we loved the service and all the staff are really nice thanks

I recomend this restaurant my mom my family and friends enjoy the food my favorite is the steam rice with soy sauce and the cabbage salad I love it

We came in as a party of six and had Walter as our server. Wonderful experience, delicious food and a great time. Walter was an amazing server and took the whole experience to another level. Would definitely come again, great experience. Walter was amazing:)

Went with a group of six for reservation but ended up giving our table away due to absences of our party. Staff were super accommodating throughout the whole ordeal and we ended up getting sat down in twenty minutes. Our waiter, Walter, was phenomenal and very kind throughout the two hour limit we were given by constantly checking in on us and making sure everything was great! All the cuts of meat were of high quality and all staff were extremely attentive.

Food is always so good and always fresh. Can’t get enough of that miso marinated steak. Service was still quick even though it was busy time. Our server Richard was very proactive and super friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Love gyubee but not as nice as the Bloor location and super dark. Was disappointed when we had a reservation with 7 people and they gave us one grill.

Me and my friend came for lunch and we enjoy the food and service is good too.the place was not crowded when we dine which we like it. We definitely coming back.

Food was excellent, staff is so friendly, fast and responsive. Overall a really good experience.

Make a reservation, there's usually a long wait if you just walk in.

-They'll start serving you less amounts the more you order of the "good stuff"
-You'll start to get rushed 45mins before your time limit ends

Amazing food and service. Very high quality and flaovourful meat! We had the dinner course and it was great! Much better than most other Korean or Japanese bbqs. Loved the kalbi and the miso beef brisket and shrimp the most!

It can get very busy. Can be waits up to an hr or two sometimes so come early!

Good service, also long lines but they have a app to let you know your place in line. Wait times can vary depending on day/time. I’ve came here a handful of times and the service was always quick and polite, ready to serve/take our orders. The dishes were all acceptable and hadn’t had a problem once. Besides feeling rushed as we got into the restaurant the last hour then was only given -20 minutes to place the last call order for the night. Place seems to be tidy/clean. My favourite dish would be

All vegetables besides the potatoes (in foil) as I found it to be too mushy.
The bibimbap, cold noodles, rice is all good to pair with all assortment of meats.
Then personal dessert selection would be the creme brûlée.

One of my go to place when cravings for k-bbq. Good quality mest for AYCE bbq is what you get here

The servers were extremely attentive and friendly especially Shikei. He made sure our table was looked after and had a great attitude. Although we waited a while for a table, I still recommend due to its exceptional customer service.

Food is good but we had to wait 2 hours until we got a table. We got an estimate around 8: 15 and they said they will text us. I asked them how long do we need to wait after already waiting 1hr and they said i dont know. Now th le wait times got changed to 8: 45 so we waited more but not expecting to wait another hour on top of the first hour that we waited. I wish they were more honest with their wait times because they know how it works more than me.

The decreasing serving size was the reason I took 1 star off. Ordered 3 servings of meat, but we were given less than the previous round where we ordered 2. This also happened to other stuff like shrimp and pineapple we ordered.

The food is amazing, which deserves a 5 star. Dining environment can be better and the queue management is not ideal.

The atmosphere was safe, food was fresh and delicious, service was excellent, Leo was great.
I definitely go back to Gyubee grill buffet soon.

I came here tonight for the first time I brought my friend here for her birthday We had a good time the food was amazing the reason for my low rating is because at the end of my meal the manager came to the table and asked if we enjoyed the meal and if everything was okay, we told her everything was fine then she said well I’m asking because of how much you tipped then walked a way which was rude and That kind of made me very uncomfortable I had a great time and experience until the manager came and said that. The reason I didn’t tip so much because we had multiple different servers and I’m already paying a lot for the meal. I don’t get why at the end the manager made me felt bad about how much I tipped. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here cause I feel embarrassed other than that the food was amazing and all your other staff did great.

My friend Kevin took me here and I had a wonderful time. The food here is really great. Lots of portions. I'm thankful. Thanks staff.

If you have 6+ people for a table, you can make a reservation and I highly recommend you call them 2 weeks in advance. My colleagues and I went on a Friday night and it was PACKED already at 5pm.

I was on top of the waiting list but still had to wait 30 minutes for a table, there were five of us. It’s $41 for AYCE, I would recommend to order all the side orders and the expensive cuts of beef/chicken (prime kalbi, beef tongue, chicken cartilage, etc.) Eat your money’s worth!

Staff were friendly, fast and efficient. My colleagues and I were super satisfied yesterday night and we’ll definitely come back again! Can’t get enough of the beef!

I absolutely love Gyubee - amazing quality meat and options. I typically never get drinks at AYCE places, but their peach drink is amazingly good.

I only eat at dinnertime as the variety of meat is far greater. The garlic beef and sweet soy marinated short ribs are delicious.

Gyubee, please bring back the enoki mushrooms ️. They haven’t had them for months, and they’re one of the best items.

I’m a absolutely fan of Korean bbq, this one is great. The waitresses are awesome, the food is sick love it. The only thing is not much vegetables variety.

Ordered dinner menu and was blown away by the varieties they have. Excellent flavour, although some marinades might be a tad too sweet. Great place for hanging out. Worth it! Will return with families and friends.

Would definitely comeback anytime! They have good customer service, and we were served by Hanna. The lineup wasn't crazy when we got there because it was on Thursday. The food was awesome as always, we usually go to "Bloor" location so we knew already that they have good quality of meat but I didn't expect that we were going to have another experience. Points to the staff for making it a better one.

My favourite Japanese BBQ in the city! Great meat quality with a good assortment of sides and veggies. Meat is sliced and marinated before serving. You're given a 2 hour timeslot from your first order. After you're meal is done you have options to order creme brulee or melona bars! Highly recommend.

Got Shabu Tare Yaki (Upgraded Rice to Bibimbap) yesterday through Ubereats. The meat taste great, but there were sand in the spinach.

Yesterday was first time experien it, and it was wery good restaurant with really good cost especially, prime beef and sweet soy marinated short rib and miso beef brisket are really delicious. Thank you for Sean and Jen.

Great customer service, shout out to Hannah and their manager Crystal. Food was good and caramel pudding was super delicious as well!

Like always the wait for Gyubee is always long but worth. All you have to do is go on yelp and put yourself on the waitlist to get in faster.

Of course we got all the meats and they were all marinated well. We got hot tea and they even made sure to refill our cups. I tried the banana flavoured Melona here for the first time and it was so yummy!

On a side note, the manager at this location is so nice to everyone! She made sure that everything was okay during our stay.

I’ve always heard such good things about Gyubee and now I know why! This is hands down the best all you can eat bbq restaurant I’ve ever been to in Toronto. The quality of meat is unlike any other bbq restaurant and the taste… omg ️ I’m obsessed! I think it’s because they actually marinade their meats unlike a lot of other places that serve the meat plain. The service was amazing too, there are plenty of staff and they are always attentive. Will definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!

I empathize, I really do — but waiting 2 hours out in the cold because no one's enforcing safe social distancing measures and because food ordering apps are causing 3 hour delays.you guys should've stopped accepting more orders when it got too busy. Wasn't fair to anyone to have to wait SO LONG with no guarantee if it would ever be done.

Absolutely some of the best Japanese food I have eaten - A co-worker of mine bought lunch - and wanted to treat me with something special. (Jason from Downtown Toyota) had it picked up and we ate here! Wow - I truly enjoyed the great great food quality and taste!

Placed an order here to try this place. It took over one hour to prepare apparently, meaning that it was actually just sitting there while they incompetently waited around or something. The food was cold on arrival and the meal looks like slop. Called the restaurant to check on the status and they hung up on me two times. Will add photos of this terrible meal. Stay tuned.

Best quality I’ve tasted in all you can eat restaurant. I like that beef tongues are actually tasty. Seafood dishes was fresh. The brisket beef is super yummyalso. The cool as a Kurobuta sausage is my favorite dish here. We always go this branch because staff are very nice and attentive. Prices are adequate and reasonable for 45 aprox.per person btw There is 5% when you pay with cash!

Love this place. The cleanliness and safety of their customer and employees are the top of their priorities which made me feel more comfortable dining out especially this time a day. I have been telling my friends and clients at work already who visit Toronto about this place and no doubt they are busy all the time. Great job Gyubee Dundas

Our server was also very friendly and confident on what she does. I think her name was Jen if I'm not mistaken. Hehe

This is THE place for Japanese BBQ. The food is amazing - great variety and flavoring. Service is also top notch. Our dishes started coming seconds after we ordered, and any time we requested more, the waiters were very prompt.

But what, you may ask, warrants the highly coveted 5 star rating? My experience at Gyubee went from good to great all because of my homie, Vincent. If you come here, ask him to be your waiter. Not only is he super speedy and impossibly friendly, I swear this man has supersonic hearing. My boyfriend and I had just finished ordering our second round of food, when we realized that we forget to order lettuce. My boyfriend says to me, "Aw man, I wish I had ordered more lettuce. " The words had barely come out of his mouth when Vincent appeared before us, a bowl of lettuce in hand.

My boyfriend was a huge fan of the cold tofu. He probably ordered it at least 10 times during our visit. Vincent being the GOAT he is, took note of this, and went out of his way to go to our table to ask my boyfriend if he wanted more tofu. If that isn't a superstar waiter, I don't what is. Vincent, if you're reading this, thank you for making our first time at Gyubee so great. We will definitely be coming back!

Best Gyubee out of the 3 locations I've been to. Customer service and health and safety precautions were highly in place. Our server Dewey was an AA+ with menu knowledge, to asking us for feedback and always coming to check on us (super rare) along with a positive and delightful attitude. Food was amazing with top grade quality. Definitely will come back to this location. Thank you for an amazing experience

Great experience with fresh food, variety and affordable. The restaurant has precautions for COVID-19 with the shield and distancing sittings. Also, Cathy was very helpful, she offered us an excessive service. Definitely will come back

It is pricey for sure, but the best quality of food! I loved short ribs so much! Everything comes in small plate and that is good because you won't be too full with side dishes. AYCE is for 2 hours. Excellent food, excellent drink and the service was great! I would come again for a special occasion. Paul is the best! He comes to our table so often that we could order as soon as we wanted to. He is so nice and thoughtful.

This was our first time to this restaurant and it was amazing. Great experience for the entire family as we all took part in cooking our food over the grill. There were plenty of food choices; all types of meat and vegetables. We felt very safe with the measures set forth within. We will be back!

Food was tasty and abundant. Staff members were very attentive and quick. It's definitely not easy operating an AYCE restaurant amid the social distancing norms, but Gyubee came through and gave us a very enjoyable yakiniku experience. The only opportunity area I'm spotting is the # of people they let in, it felt like there were too many guests. That said, I recommend visiting them during off peak hours and I'm sure you'll have a super fun time!
