Gyubee Japanese Grill (Scarborough)

I come here maybe once a week and it’s honestly such a great time. Eat as much as you want and food is great.

Beat gyubee out of all of them—-service-meat cuts-space etc.been to others and cant say the same

Nice spot, less busy and more spacious when compared to other locations, the service here isn't as attentive and the washrooms are located on the 2nd floor.

Good food as usual, went on a Saturday and was lucky to get a table immediately! Service was on point as well!

A Scarborough classic, this is hands down the best Gyubee in the GTA (I’ve visited them all, multiple times). Queenie and the rest of the staff here are truly incredible - the service is always amazing. The food is always so fresh and they always have stock (some locations are infamous for being sold out of items). Overall would highly recommend this place over other AYCE BBQ spots, Gyubee Scarborough takes the cake every time.

When I tell you this was an experience you’ll love, I am truly sincere. I went in with no expectations and the staff really made me fall I. Love with this restaurant. For dinner after tax you’d pay 50 dollars, for lunch 30 (12-3pm).

It was worth the money and the food was truly amazing! A great time for large groups, I recommend the garlic shrimp and the pork belly.

Usually very busy and has a queue for waiting but is is very much worth it. The selection of bbq meats are great. Love love love the miso beef brisket and bibimbap. Fast and friendly service. Very satisfying meal everytime we go here. I have recommended this place to many people and all loved it too.

Place is a great change from Korean BBQ or Chako. Service is very fast because it's all iPad ordered and comes out within minutes. Went for lunch special for $22 and was well worth it. Quality meat and great sides. Staff very friendly and is great when they all greet you as you walk in and leave.

Some of the best bbq I've tried in a while for this price range. There are some places with better quality meats but not for the 35 dollar price they have here. They have a decent range of options and they were all very good! They have great hospitality and the decoration and atmosphere was great as well. If you are in the mood for some bbq this is a must try

Just like any other Korean style BBQ!

First of all, I know on the menu it said they charge for kids under 3 years old but I had a newborn that was 2 months old and clearly just having milk yet the restaurant still charged me for the baby!

Second, like any other Asian place they rush you out well before the time limit is up.

The seats are tight and for a table of 6 people, they squished us into a booth. They also don’t take reservations if you have less than 6 people.

The only plus side of this is that their meat quality is SLIGHTLY better than the other Korean styled BBQ.

Great food and service! I feel this location is even better than their other locations. The meat is very fresh and tasty. Would definitely go again! Don’t forget to join the wait list on Yelp to avoid the long wait.

I am really impressed with this location. I did visit their Markham location in the past and it is good also. We came here on a long weekend Sunday before school starts in September. We did make reservations and when we arrive, our table are ready. We have 4 kids around 12 years old on one table and adults on another table. They are really good with the kids table. They will ask the kids if they are ok. Or ask them directly if they want more food, ask them if they want more water.they really talked to our kids like CUSTOMER. I love it. I will come back for sure. And my kids told me they really enjoy it too.

I love how clean and well ventilated this place is! The meat slices were thinner but definitely more tastier than CHAKO. Portion sizes were great, grill was clean and well kept. The whole experience felt so authentic. I loved how prompt the service was with checking in on us.

The place is trendy and immaculate. Ample parking is available in the plaza parking lot and is by far my favorite of their three locations. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. Their food quality is extemely fresh and seasoned/marinated very well. This is definitely my go to spot for table top bbqs. You just can't beat the price and quality here. Only downside is that they only take reservations for parties of 6 or more. If you're below 6, then I would advise arriving as early as possible to avoid a lengthy wait.

Good food but a little pricey compared to other grill house. It might be better to have other non grill options like sushi and different kinds of sauce. Waiters and staffs are very friendly and accommodating but it was also a little difficult to call their attention for food request specially if you are located at the corner of the restaurant. It might be better to install a call waiter button on your table.

They only accept cash or debit card which is very inconvenient specially if you do not know this a head of time.

Overall, it was a really good first time experience but I think they can do better.

Came here after seeing so many ads and I can say that it definitely lives up to the hype. Great tasting food, comes to you quick and cooks well (as long as you're watching it). The desserts are just a bonus! Will definitely come back!

Food is amazing, restaurant is clean and clear. Rex and Boo our servers were amazing! The only knock I would give them is they hold you to a strict time limit and want you to be out when done, no expecting to sit and chat but.there a tonne of places to do that nearby.

My family and I really enjoyed the food, we went there twice.the staffs are really nice and patience, thanks to Ken and Eva for your nice smile and perfect service.

Nice atmosphere and good food selection! We especially enjoyed their rice. For our large group, the waiter was patient enough to explain all the meats and their marinades.

They are quite strict on reservations, and will not seat you until your whole party arrives.
