Love this store people. They have a good section on tea, and cup noodles here. Prices can be higher then other places but it's right DT so I guess that's to be expected.

Super cute shop, lots of great Korean grocery items and snacks. I especially appreciated the single Melona brand bars what ended up being a really hot day in Toronto! Wish this shop was in Ottawa!

Terrible customer service! Train your staff how to look after customers. I would definitely come back! Appreciate customers shopping here!

Customer service is not good and communication is a problem with some cashiers. They expect customers to put the shopping basket away for them.
The music in the store was too loud that I could not hear what the cashier was saying.

Smaller location but still good variety of products that are typically hard or impossible to find. Prices are reasonable and they have weekly sales.

Just came in looking to buy some late night groceries, but kept on getting uncomfortably approached by one of the male staff (not the security) with long hair (that’s tied up). Upon entering the store, no one greets you and doesn’t seem to be interested in your business. The male staff on the floor immediately gave me a dirty look and kept on following me very closely while I was shopping for groceries. If I’m not mistaken, they have a security guard present (that’s always leaning on things) that’s on the floor because I see the same security leaning on things at the Ryerson/TMU location, so I don’t understand why is the floor staff following me so closely, is lost and prevention part of their responsibility? If so better training needs to be done, especially if you are going to have floor staff trying to do the job of a security officer.

The male floor staff that decided to follow me so closely made it a very uncomfortable shopping experience as he didn’t offer any assistance nor did he greet me, he just kept following me through the aisles, eventually getting close to me near the beverage area, eventually he followed me all the way to the Gimbap area, so I decided to grab one, pay and leave the store immediately as I felt pressured to leave, ended up going elsewhere for the rest of my groceries.

The gimbap was mediocre, the rice was dry, the cuts were rough and not even, the Saran Wrap wasn’t even packaged tightly so air got in, I honestly got this because everything else didn’t look so good and I felt pressured to leave even though the store was still opened for 40mins since posting this.

Probably not returning to this if this is how you greet customers after they are looking to spend their hard earn money after they themselves have finished work, your customer service is pathetic, just like your produce quality.

Please shop elsewhere

BE AWARE when buying meat from this place. I bought some thinly sliced beef from this H-Mart location yesterday (October 17) to use throughout the week and I just noticed today that the best before date is set to today. I understand I am partly to blame for not doing my due diligence in checking the expiry date before buying, but why on Earth this store kept this raw meat product in the refrigeration rack so close to its expiry date at its full price is beyond me. Don't make the same mistake I did and make sure to do your check or straight up avoid buying meat from this place, which is what I'll do going forward.

In the counter staff maybe you just stay at 10 min you look so tired you have to smile is not the end of the world

Based on many years of experiences at H mart in different locations, their customer service level is lacking compared to the competitor, Galleria supermarket.

I emailed a customer service to express concern in the past, they never got back to me.

It is convinient to get essential Korean food items and sometimes they have good promos on items, therefore I would still shop here but that does not mean that I am happy about their quality or service.

Their prepared food/bakery items are okay, not that great. Produce is pretty fresh most of time tho.

The other day I picked up a vegetable croquette for a snack and found very excessive amount of oil (about a table spoonful) sitting in the package. I purchased croquette from H mart many times before and it was never like this. I met with a manager so he could speak to the bakery department. Manager’s reaction was not apologetic or anything, he just came up with an excuse like it was because plastic package was closed when croquette was still hot. According to him, people were complaining about cold croquette and microwave to heat up is not available, that is why they packaged when they were still hot. Well, if they drained deep fried croquette properly before they package them, it would not be like this.

It is a shane that they don’t have any urgency to improve their customer service.

I purchased a vegetable salad from H mart Today. By the time I got back to the office and I was ready to have lunch. As I open the container a strong smell came up to my nose and I can tell immediately that this salad is no longer fresh. The broccoli looks soggy and the crab meat tasted very funny. I immediately rushed back to the store and demand for a refund. They eventually refunded me the money but there was no apology whatsoever. They should definitely put more attention on quality control and enhance their customer service level.

I think you need 50 different kinds of ramen you can find 50 different kinds around here the store is full of ramen maybe even some raw women or some trans women ramen anyway the stores lgbtq friendly as far as I can tell and they take cash and debit and they're fairly friendly buy some stuff and eat it outside on that little plane around the corner also the candy store next door oh wait that's different that's a different review

It was clean But THATS A HUGE BUT! Having people follow me around the store in oriental markets is degrading ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY UNDERSTAND RACISM. My colour doesn't represent my character. SHAME ON YOU! ESPECIALLY when competition is less thar a kilometer away.

Gosh.poor customer service today at the cashier, April 14th at 10pm. Sorry but not sorry. The two persons at the cashier need to be retrained on customer service and food bagging.

The store is pretty small so it usually feels crowded, but they have a good selection. The produce is always fresh. I like the dumplings and kimbap they have fresh every day.

NICE KOREAN FOOD STOR, VARIETY PRUCT and GOOD PRICE, SO COOL! Location is Yonge and Bloor, customer service is very nice

This place has horrible customer service. I spent more than $30. I needed some coins and asked for change for $5 bill and the cashier just shrugged and refused it. She said she cannot because of the rules. I never experienced this before. What kind of rule is that? I’ll be going to Galleria from now, they always give me change.

I will give zero star if there is an option.
The receptionist scanned the wrong food for me and after I found out immediately she refused to refund. Requested for an exchange to another food she only allow to change fruits or veggies, excuse me your rude attitude and your broken systems. Never come back again, all non Korean shouldn’t come here because they only speak Korean with their customers.

Love going to this shop, you can find so many awesome things there that you wouldn't usually get to experience in a regular grocery store. Defiantly check it out!

This is a convenience store sized H Mart. Within the few aisles set up they've packed a lot items into this store. They've got fresh produce, prepared food, frozen section (read: lots of ice cream), cakes, drinks, snacks, ramyeon, condiments and much more. Prices are steeper than what I've seen elsewhere but given the location downtown I'm sure this location is handy for many people that live downtown and may not be able to get to a larger Asian supermarket regularly.

Nice place to get the freshly made Korean rice cake, veggies and lots choices of kimchi. Must come if you are fond of Korean food!

This is a take-out sushi place for now. But the place is clean and the person who took my order was very nice and considerate. Spicy Salmon rolls were amazing and so is the Seafood Poke Bowl.

Very convenient H-Mart location near Bloor Subway Station. Products are always fresh and they have a nice corner of ready-to-eat food! Very organized and always stocked by staff. Great pitstop for a quick snack. If you're interested in more hot food, also visit the location just north of Dundas Station as it has a food booth as well.

Great selection. Icy-cool refreshing AC. Friendly staff put up with the kids and myself every night during our visit to Toronto.

The rudest cashier I have ever seen in my life. They did even not say " Hi" even I greeted them first? The way they served me as I begged for the food? The worst attitude was with the girl with the bang hair who threw the bag of food to me. Some of the staff was friendly to help me to take the food in the high position (the mostly male one). The food is fine here; however, if you need to get more customers, you should train your cashier properly. One star is for the guy who helped me; SHE (the rudest cashier) should even not get a 0 star.

I bought expired date one because I realized the taste so bad. Also always cashier aren’t good customer service. I won’t buy never again this shop.

The staff aren't particularly welcoming or friendly but it's a decent Korean supermarket with a good range of Korean and Japanese produce.

Not sure where all these 1 star reviews come from but so far my shopping experience in this place has been good so far, staff has been kind and the food has been nice too.

I am a heavy user. Products are sometimes expired. I suggest that you should check by yourself. Moreover, some cashiers does not say “Hi” or “Thank you. Even if I say “Hello “ it’s so disappointed. Please say at least greeting words. I just want a normal shopping experience.

If I can give 0 star then I would definitely do. They charged me something that I didn't buy last time and didn't give me the item I buy this time. This definitely should not happened 2 times by chance.

I bought kimbap that was veeery obviously old and a pack of cookies that were expired. Please always check expiry date. They don’t sanitize baskets between customers so keep that in mind. The stars are for staff! Staff is pleasant and polite and I often saw them help customers find things.

I really enjoy going here for lunch time. I would often get their precooked meals but the only downfall is that they don’t have a microwave! Other H Marts I’ve been to especially in Korea has microwaves for us to reheat the food. And if it’s not in public view, the cashier would microwave the food for me.

I hope this location gets a microwave, it’ll make things a lot more CONVENIENT. Other than that this location is great!

I wish they have more hot/ready to microwave dishes. It's disappointing to find nothing there to eat after 10 mins walk from work. Then I have to walk 10 mins back, which leave me 10 mins to find something else to eat. I ended up just get a sandwiches at Rabba.

Small store but with a great range of food, definitely check out the fridge at the front for delicious ready to eat snacks and meals.

Great little Korean grocery store with surprisingly large variety for it's size. Tons of fresh vegetable and fruits, meat section is great too. The ready to eat section is a local favorite.

Love having an Asian grocery so close and always stocked with fresh produce. IMO better produce than the galleria down the street:)

Amid COVID-19 pandemic, they are open, which is good. But customers are not asked to do any hand sanitation and keep social distance, and carts are not sanitized after each use. I like this shop but I often skip shopping here when I see inside crowded and this defenseless measurement.

Excellent selection, a bit more expensive as you would expect from a convenience chain. Wish we had one in the West end!

Pricey, but open late, and has a large selection of Korean staple foods, along with some Japanese selections. Their prepared food isn't bad either, for lunch at work next day.

Unagi bowl with fishball broth in a cup perfect breakfast. Unagi like candy. Want to try everything at the hot food counter.

Nice selection of everything Asian and flavorful. The fresh items like veggies, scrambled egg and rice, Korean BBQ and fish is nice but you are paying for the convenience. If you can get to Sunnys, its obvi way cheaper and you can stock up. Wait until HMart prices go 20% off to grab them. The premade meals are a good deal at the discounted prices.

Great location. But the food is expensive and not fresh. I had the salmon and got sick for a week.
Also the cashier didnt listen when I said no for a plastic bag. She still charged me for the bag and was giving an attitude.

A huge variety of East Asian food products and beyond. Always an excitement to be walking around and discovering something new, over, over and over. Prepared food is always succulent.

This store has interesting products and is very neat and tidy. The cashiers I dealt with were pleasant, especially one of them who was very kind to help me find the product I needed. I like this store.

Their rice triangles in the front refrigerator are delicious, better than the ones served at Pat Mart near Christie Station.

They pack a lot into this little downtown grocery store. There's lots of quick meals-to-go in the refrigerator section, but note that they do not warm up anything there. There's also TONS of Asian drinks, snacks and desserts here including various ice cream! In the back, they have a small, but decent variety of toiletries too.

The place is an experience for those who don't belong to the region. Worth a try. Our shopping trips are a pleasant surprise each time.
