I will never be stepping back inside this store and will urge all my family members and friends to reconsider. My mother went in to buy some kitchen cupboards. She lives over an hour away. She called ahead of time to make sure they were still there and was informed yes they were and she could measure the cupboards upon arrival!

Fast forward to being in the store and measuring the said cupboards. Another customer walked up to my mom to say something about a cupboard having two handles my moms response was that’s ok I am buying these anyways. She also informed the woman working there that she was indeed buying the set. The customer and employee walked away from my mother to have a further conversation. About 5mins later they came back informing my mom that this customer has purchased the cabinets right from under my moms nose. It is unknown if the employee knew the other customer but what she did was sneaky and is quite embarrassing that she is representing Habitat for humanity. I am shocked and disgusted with what happened. That wasn’t even the worst of it. This store should be ashamed of what they did to my mother. The other employee (a man) told my mom she could leave and get out whilst on her way out. We will no longer be supporting this location and will continue to spread the word of their dishonesty.

Biggest ReStore I've ever been to! Great place to find a bargain and they have good deals on furniture, appliances, and more. They have an amazing well-organized media room that is filled to the brim with books, DVDs, games etc, and they also have a great selection of brand-new clothing. I love thrifting here for high-quality second-hand furniture as they get great items donated and there is always something unique and interesting to find. Staff and volunteers are always so attentive and lovely. A must-visit place in Lindsay if you love to thrift!

This is one of the best ReStore's I have ever been to. Stock changes constantly and they have an equal measure of furniture, building supplies, sewing, kitchen and vintage collectibles with a good selection of rare books. One of my favourite places ever.

If your looking for used furniture at v great prices this is the place. Most pieces need a little loving but have great bones. I found vintage knobs for a dresser that I updated for under ten dollars. If you like poking around looking for gems this store is a great one to visit.

Not happy asked to donate
They wanted pictures sent pictures
They said they want everything two truck loads. Dropped off first load. Left to get second load. Got a phone call from store saying they didn't want second load because they didn't like my attitude or color of my skin my religion or something about me I hung up
Didn't need to listen to it

Good find at this store. Great community organization too. Helping with housing is always good!

I know they think they prices they charge are fair. But $200. For a used saging old styled couch is a little over the top. Prices are getting crazy.

A great place to find good used, almost new and even new household, building supplies and like new clothing. A WIN WIN for sure!

I like to support local charity, but the merch in this store is really over priced esp for a town like Lindsay and the manager is often rude to customers

Great chain of used/recycled furniture, tools electronics and building supplies. Staff are friendly, its well laid out, good variety, its hit and miss if you find what you need. Usually good prices good cause.

There wasn't much in there and everything was priced too high

I walked out without buying anything

Great staff; friendly, helpful & courteous. As a senior when staff offered to take my buggy to my car, well it was a lovely gift I couldn't refuse. Thank you so much!

In Lindsay Habitat for Humanity has a lot of decent stuff it's a good place to go look for second hand stop

Volunteered here on occasion when the Habitat Peterborough truck did pickups in Lindsay. Fairly good selection and good prices of course. Main downside though are the small premises which making properly processing donations and keeping track of what’s sold and what’s not something of a pain. That said still an excellent place to find furniture and windows (including some Huge ones).

A bit overpriced considering the furniture generally isn't in great shape. Not a very diverse selection, either.

Bought our "new to us" kitchen cabinets here. Amazing deal. Worth a visit to see what they have
22 March 2020 3:19
Most things are priced to high. Example I wanted a small mirror. There was one there for $25.00. I went to winners and found one the same size for $24.99.

Friendly staff/volunteers. Great place to find what you're looking for. Great addition to our community

This is my go to place when I dont want to buy it new. Literally the Restore (Habitat for Humanity) has so many household products. Sofas to lighting, electronics to kitchen gadgets: ie. Toasters, coffee makers etc. Kitchen cabinets, tables. Pictures.whew and everything else you could think of for your home at a fraction of the price. For the budget conscious! Besides all this, you will be helping out local families with affordable housing. Check this place out.seriously!

Exactly what you would expect in a ReStore. Plenty of items available, found me a pair of downhill ski boots that I have been wanting at a very good price! Staff were pleasant, with a good sense of humor on a Friday afternoon.

Tried to purchase a pantry, and staff said they could only sell the pantry as part of the whole set.they would sell the pantry separately. So no sale was made at all.
07 November 2019 4:04
Overpriced. Better off paying $2 more and getting it new. Considering it costs them nothing to get it.
06 November 2019 3:10
Can often find household items you need. Prices are a tad higher than other thrift stores, but glad the money goes to support housing initiatives.
21 October 2019 14:31
Prices have increased over the past 2 years, thus purchasing less items from them!
It is basically an indoor flea market/garage sale of used goods and now competing with Canadian Tire and Walmart?
30 August 2019 16:17
Excellent place to look for interesting things. Home improvement and repair and restoration things available for reasonable prices. Also great for furniture and crockery.

I bought a ton of stuff from this store when setting up a student house in Lindsay. The staff were terrific. I even took a couple things back and they refunded my money. I'm happy to see a place helping people get started, employing people in the community and giving us a place to recycle furniture and goods and keep them out of our landfills. One suggestion I have is to offer discount tickets for donations. Encourage the community to bring more inventory and enjoy a discount on found treasures while they do. Good job you guys, thank you for your service!

The prices at Restore have become to high for what they are selling. Much of what they sell has been donated from Home Depot and it is almost the same price and I would rather pay full price at Home Depot with the ability to return. The other items have been donated from people or businesses and it is all used (or new unused building material) but with a price that does not reflect what the items are. I have stopped going there because it has become rather ridiculous. They would sell much more if they dropped there prices by 30 percent. I have found this with all of the restores. The volunteers are nice and the store is clean.
