Hailed Coffee - Riverdale

This is a neighborhood gem. Maybe one of the best coffee shops in the city. Not only is the coffee and the treats amazing, the staff truly make this a very special place. It is a daily ritual for me to visit and to start my day with a great coffee and a warm smile

The best coffee. Really, really good. But they need more tables. The music was very nice, and the staff is so sympathy.

Lovely little spot, very tasty coffee and friendly service. Cardamom is their game (they can add it in to coffee drinks). Their cardamella chocolate bar is OUTSTANDING, my new favorite sweet treat.

This has become a new local fave.
Their coffee is delicious and their treats are incredible. The Za'atar croissant is so delicious, and their shortbread is incredible.
Wish that there was more seating, but this isn't their fault:)

Drove all the way but no seats, so ended up not staying and getting anything. Only 2 chairs. Please take note if you’re not looking for a grab and go place. Saw a photo uploaded by hailed coffee shop that there were multiple seats. Please remove photo to avoid confusion.thanks!

My favorite coffee shop in Toronto!
They serve Italian style tasty espresso. I love Hailed Spanish latte and 5C by a sweet pastry chef! I really recommend their handmade chocolate bars such as Pistachio sour cherry! The baristas make me feel like home and family.

What a great little cafe! Nice and bright, very friendly staff and absolutely delicious, buttery croissants! The cappuccino was perfectly made with quality coffee and tasted incredibly smooth. No bitterness or burnt flavour that so many cafes seem to have and definitely no need for sugar. Very well balanced all round made by pros. The space itself is crisp and clean yet still cozy with lots of seating. We're quite lucky to have this place in the neighbourhood! 5 stars.

Edit: came back a few years later and something has happened. The space is mostly kitchen now. No more cozy indoor backarea. Which seems strange as it doesn't appear to have a bigger food or drinks menu (maybe I missed that). But mostly the barista was very rude. I was in great mood walking in, and really looking forward to another pastry & coffee like I'd had in the past, and grab some biscuits or something for my friends too. However, none of the pastries are labelled at all and when I politely asked what they were, she acted as if I was making her life so difficult and I was stupid because I asked if an apricot danish was lemon as if she was personally offended that I would assume it to be lemon. I got a cappuccino to go (which she seemed to sort of throw together carelessly) and then just left. And the coffee wasn't even as good as it used to be. Really unfortunate. I used to love this place, pre-covid, but I won't return again. So, 3.5 stars. It's not quite 3, but it's not a 4 either. And Google doesn't allow half stars.

Coffee and bread are very delicious. There was a Japanese employee at the store who was kind and had great customer service.

There are great breads and coffee.
