I really had a wonderful experience at this store. The staff was very polite and helpful. Sabreen, Simran and Manjot gave an excellent customer service experience. Must visit.

Pathetic in store experience. The staff doesn’t give you full information at the start and then think they’re doing you a favour. Absolutely rude staff.

I ordered 2 pair of glasses and they are the quickest as they called me just in 2 days after the order and got it delivered to me. Vidhi and Savreet helped me out in the entire process and called me to pick up the order and they all there are very helpful and kind. Will recommend to visit them and make purchases.

Very bad and careless management. They charged my daughter for an eye exam while she is covered by OHIP, they have no control over their assigned optometrist, if and when you complain they never get back to you. I even filled a complaint jn their website and they just ignored it. The only calls I recieved where from the optometrist trying to explain why he charged us money and he is not convincing as OHIP regulations are clear. Not a single follow up from Hakim optics management. Very bad customer care.

I went to this location a couple of days ago and was served by Savreet and Salman. I received exceptional service, they spent time with me finding the perfect frames. They are the BEST and I recommend everyone come to this location!

I scheduled an appointment over the phone but when I showed up the manager could not find my name and she didn’t admit it was their fault. She was rude and unprofessional. Very unpleasant experience and worst customer service. I would definitely avoid this store

The staff at this location are very kind and helpful. Two stars because of the quality of the frames at Hakim Optical. I got a pair of Hakim Optical branded plastic frames from them and to my surprise they literally broke on my face while I was wearing them, a few months later. The bottom right area of the frame just cracked. The staff replaced the frame again no charge. A few months later, the same thing happened. They tried to replace the frame again for me but the original frames were discontinued, and so I had to choose a new style and they fit my lenses into it.

Today, it happened for a third time, but I was informed I would need to pay this time. I have been wearing glasses since I was a child, and for the past 10 years been ordering plastic frames online from Clearly, ZenniOptical and other budget websites, and this has never happened to me. I treat my glasses carefully and don’t drop them, and for 3 frames to break in the span of 1.5 years, is crazy to me. Do not waste your money on hakim optical branded plastic frames.

I ordered a new pair glasses for a winter getaway and I specifically checked to make sure that the particular lenses I need could be tinted. They said Yes. I also said I needed them before I left the country on Dec 28. I was assured that since it was longer than two weeks lead time that it would be Fine. I called today since it was more than 2 weeks to check on them and sure enough they came back but due to a “lab error” they were not tinted which I need. I was obviously upset and asked them to have the lab correct the problem asap as I was leaving the country. They said they would check and call me back which they did only to tell me that it would take at least another week to correct the problem which was their error in the first place. So not only have I wasted the money on these glasses as I now have no choice but to get the prescription remade in the US and another huge cost. The Hakim at Erin Mills Town Centre has no sense of customer service and no interest in helping a customer solve an issue that Hakim created. I haven’t bought anything at Hakim in years as the last time I did there was a problem. I decided to give them another try. My mistake! Don’t waste your money or time with a company who clearly is not in business to serve customers- just serve themselves

I went into Hakim looking for my first pair of eye glasses. Chinney approached us in seconds. I had told her that I was looking for my first pair of eye glasses and did not know where to start. Chinney showed me at least 5 to 6 pairs of glasses to see which pair was right for me. I decided on her recommendation and was very pleased. The service was amazing, not only did I purchase my first pair of eye glasses my mom also purchased eye glasses as well. Thank you Chinney

I have been going to Chinny for years and followed her from the old location. She has decades of experience and you can see just how knowledgeable she is and how much she cares about her customers! Over the years, she’s always given great service and that’s why I keep coming back. Thank you Chinny!

My one compliment was the staff was good, BUT THESE ARE THE WORST GLASSES I HAVE EVER HAD.

I bought 2 pairs of glasses and I usually go to a higher end place. I thought 'what could go wrong'?

Just to let you know I have been wearing glasses since I was SIX MONTHS OLD and have been using graduated bifocals for at least 15 years. So I am not inexperienced.

Despite multiple corrections these glasses do not fit. They dig in, feel bad and because the fit is so bad, the sight is very blurry at all distances and I get dizzy from wearing them, even after many months.

I hold them up with my fingers to put the line of sight where it needs to be.

Honestly, I just got tired going back to have them adjusted.

I will never buy glasses from Hakim again. This has been a very bad and frustrating experience.

My honest hunch is that the glasses were manufactured or measured incorrectly and rather than admidt an error and remake them correctly, they just keep trying to adjust them.

Not a satisfied customer.

Terrible customer service. Walked in with my 7 year old son this evening to buy glasses. While there, looking for frames I handed the girl working my son's prescription. During us trying to find the lenses he liked, she got pulled away to help another customer. As we had picked our lenses and she was busy, I walked 2 doors up to grab a drink for my son. When I came back, she had lost the prescription and proceeded to blame me for losing it. I literally just walked out and back in!? ! To be honest, its not even the losing it that gets me, it was her complete lack of effort to help. Her response, instead of looking for it was to suggest I just get another one from the optometrist. Wow! Obviously she doesn't have kids or a busy schedule. Needless to say I definitely won't be buying anything from that location, and I highly suggest you hang onto your paperwork while there, especially if you're just shopping. There are way to many places to shop.

Visited the store and optometrist 2 weeks ago. Optometrist was very professional. I looked around for good frames. Before I made a final decision to purchase from Hakim i wanted to check other stores including online stores. Online stores require PD (Pupillary Distance). When i called the store and optometrist back they wanted to charge $50 to provide that. What a rip off. Retail stores fail to understand that if want to truly offer value they cannot frustrate clients who want to price shop. Bad policy. Not buying from Hakim ever again.
