Hakim Optical GTA

Horrible experience. If you have kids, take them somewhere else. I came in with my aunt and my 5 year old nephew right away the lady behind the counter said "DO NOT touch anything, " right after we told my nephew to keep his hands to himself. Once we found a suitable pair of glasses, she proceeded to put them on him without even asking him if she could (consent should be a big thing) and got them stuck in his braids. After he started crying, she told my aunt to quiet him up because he was making too much noise.

Dina was very helpful, knowledgable & accommodating. I needed to have my 2 pairs of glasses within a week & she put a rush on it & made that happen. She also put in my insurance claim directly which saved me the hassle of doing it myself. Excellent experience! It was my first time going to Hakim & I would definitely recommend it.

I needed prescription glasses for my daughter. It is her first pair of glasses and Dina was very patient in helping her to pick out the pairs my daughter liked best. I was also happy that two pairs were the same price at Hakim Optical as what I was going to have to pay for one pair elsewhere. Very thankful for this positive experience!

Asked if i could come in and get my PD measurement.that lady said "we only do this for our own customers" i said "im willing to pay" (since that would make me a customer) she said "id rather not" and i didnt push any more than that. But hey we live in a ******* **** greedy society where if you're not buying then they're not selling. SMH

Just got my very first per of prescription glasses from Hakiim Optical on Pape and Danforth. After visiting multiple optical stores around the city finally found the frames I was looking for at this store. Great variety, decent prices and helpful staff. Delivery was within the time they promised. Covid safe and overall great experience. Dina was very helpful. Will go back

Very good service, had a pleasent experience getting new lenses for my glasses. Took a few weeks but it was a better price then ither places and got them in the end.

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses here last year - and love them. They have a whole array of different coloured lenses (in different grades) - I got super cool pink lenses and amber lenses. Highly recommend. This year, I returned again because of the service: Dina is amazing. I again took advantage of the sale - and of the very generous offer for a free pair for health care workers (I paid extra because the pair I wanted were a premium pair). All lenses are filled correctly and the glasses are gorgeous.

Very friendly and helpful customer service. I Didn't purchase my glasses here but she still fixed it for me.
