Hakka No. 1 Restaurant

This has to be one of the worst run restaurants in Canada
I sat down for lunch and asked for the full menu instead of the lunch menu and started with coconut shrimp as my appetizer and a bottle of water, the waitress was literally speaking to a friend of hers on the phone while taking my order at the table.
On this very hot day I had to ask for my bottled water twice because the waitress simply didn’t care.
As my appetizer was served o ordered my main course and the main course arrived 1 minute after it was ordered (Sesame Chicken)
As soon as I saw the food I knew it was cooked way before me ordering it and I returned it as soon as I took a bite because it was nasty and the waitress got really nasty after that a lot of her complaining instead of me
When I finally got the check I realized she added a 10% service fee which she didn’t deserve and when I asked her to remove it she even became even nastier
Overall horrible experience
I’m actually looking for a corporate number so I can formally complain

Its a good place for chinese food. They give u good quantity as well as good taste.if u save some dollars.try combos here rather than separate items.enjoy

Very bad customer service. The lady who served the food was so rude. We have asked the lady for paper towel she refused to give and said we will give with the food. After payment we asked for polythene bag, she is asking why we need an extra bag.
Moreover all the food taste same, not much variation in taste.

Amazing food at an unbeatable price! Great flavor and mild, with the option to make it spicy! As always, the manchurian balls are to die for!

There is no better Hakka restaurant than this one right here. Trust me. I’ve tried them all.

Loved the food absolutely!
I asked them to prepare food in very less oil and no spices for my 3 year old, and honestly i have never see my daughter enjoying noodles this much.

Their customer service is excellent. The food items I ordered was delicious. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Staff members communicated in a professional manner. They were able to answer my questions related to the Shrimp items on their menu with full knowledge.

(Chinese) Food is good. Variety (Indian and Guyanese) styles. The only thing I do not like about them is that they have charged tips (10%) without the consent of the customer, to eat in. Unsuspecting patrons might be giving 15% or more on top of that! Washroom not very tidy. Quality and taste of food have deteriorated over the years.

Chicken hot n sour soup and manchurian chicken the best in town nice and neat with great friendly staff

We have been going here for many years but haven't had it in a while. When we went there after a few years, the food was not that good. That by itself is ok but the cashier was very rude. They added extra charges and service charges to the bill in addition to the taxes. When we inquired about this, she was very rude and said that other customers usually don't even check the bill. She started yelling and saying that we shouldn't eat there anymore. Not only were we disappointed with the food but we also felt very hurt by her unnecessary words that logically made no sense. We still paid and left but we will never be going there again and strongly suggest that you should skip this place as well.

Great food. I have tried their food few times. Every time food was great in taste; specially Chili Chicken dry!

Today I ordered 4 items including mango salad, spicy garlic beef, mango tango T/prawns, bombay chicken. The lady was very rude! I have never seen such a badmouth lady in my life! For the shrimp when I asked if it is fried or not she said I don’t know! I asked is it spicy? She said you can pay extra to make it spicy. After that they gave fully sweet bland uncleaned shrimp. When I called the restaurant about the food the lady literally started shouting without saying a single sorry. Very bad service very bad customer service. Never going back there!

Had takeout a my friend’s place. The customer service lady was very rude unhelpful and unprofessional while taking the order and also the food was not upto the mark. There was small dirt/stone in the curry. Awful experience!
