Very clean, the employees are pleasant. The portions are great, it's enough for me to pack lunch the next day. It tastes great and is properly cooked. Chilli chicken is always hard to get right, but this restaurant gets it every time. The manchurian is also tasty as well!
Wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this place. I went there with my office group. - The order was delayed - I got burnt Manchurian after all the wait - The servers and staff are not polite.
I understand your inability to serve good food, but the least you could do is to be polite
I've given this 5 stars mainly for 1 reason: This is one of very few Hakka Chinese restaurants that are 100% authentic halal AND don't serve any alcohol. Their chicken etc comes from Iqbal foods. Also, food wasn't too salty (many other Hakka restaurants make dishes very salty)
Food lately has significantly improved. It's guaranteed halal. I love their spring rolls, lollipop, crispy beef, chili chicken and Hakka noodles! Guys working there are humble as well. This review is after my and my family's 4th visit.
No taste in anything. Red color base Paneer Manchurian gravy without any veggies was the cherry on the top. Please change the chef or learn about hakka food.
Excellent service and pretty good food and portions. However, if this is a halal restaurant then the cook definitely HAS to be a Muslim. As for the flavours of the food, the cook should use more garlic ginger and some flavours like seseme oil as the meats had a bland cardboard taste. I have eaten Hakka in Toronto that had better taste. Overall, my fussy husband does want to go back, that says alot for the restaurant ️ o yes, my husband prefers the round chicken pakoras and strips
In my humble opinion the BEST and cleanest hakka in the east end. I asked to see their kitchen as hakka places are known to be not so clean, they let me take a peak and i was impressed. The food was great and sitting area was clean, no sticky floors or tables.
Always pleasure to get food from Hakka, delight for each family member. Always fresh and always delicious, only a few Halaal food places in town, and this is one of them. I have been a customer for over 2 years, no complaints always have a good experience. Customer service always with greetings and smile.
This place is amazing. So clean and cozy! Love the atmosphere. Food was beyond delicious. Alhamdulillah. Our server, Jorlin, was the sweetest. We are making this a favourite of ours. Inshallah.
We often pick up and dine here. This place is open until 10pm and most importantly the food is amazing like really gives you the true authentic Indian style chinese food, never disappointed with the taste and quality. They are pure halal too. The manager is very friendly and makes you feel very warm. I would definitely recommend this place irrespective veg non veg.they have lots to offer.
Nice place. First time went there and the food was excellent. Almost at the same level as Lin Garden. The plus point is that it's a fully certified halal restaurant. My only suggestions /recommendations would be to increase the quantity of meat in their servings. It's unfortunate that I have to compare the quantity with Lin Garden but it's something that can definitely be improved. Will definitely go back though
Went there last night with about 20 people. I am compelled to leave a review after my excellent experience. We ordered multiple dishes and a variety of meats.
I will start off by saying that the place is well kept and very clean. The manager, Ubaid, displayed excellent customer service; this was the opinion of each one of us. He went out of his way to find some bread for my mother in law, who doesnt eat rice. Excellent excellent service! And the food was top notch! Every dish had a special taste. Ubaid suggested to try their bombay chicken and i did. It was honestly one of the best chicken dishes ive had.
Everything we ordered came out in time and everything tasted like authentic hakka and every portion was perfect. We all ate to our brim and satisfaction.
A definite repeat from all of us! Keep up the great work
It was a perfect dinner to consider (10/28/21). Excellent customer service. Food was great and served hot. We’ve got Manchuarian Beef and Mixed Fried, beef was so tender and tasty. The ambiance is good and the place was clean and tidy. Highly. Recommended and will surely come back.
I finally had the chance to try Hakka Village on Sheppard Ave. I noticed the restaurant is very well kept and the staff was friendly. I ordered chilli chicken which was fresh but did not taste all that great. The gravy was runny, onion wasn't cooked properly, and it wasn't very well balanced. Also, it was on a pricier side.
Although the food is good, but their website shows their lunch special to be $8.99 but in store they charge $11.99. They also do not want to adjust this price difference in store. Hence they are advertising falsely. Not a good business practice to adhere to. The lunch price reference is as of 15-Oct-21.
Thought I'd try this hakka place out for the first time as its near my house and showed up on ubereats first of all they scam consumers by purposely pricing this special 1cent lower than actual cost of 15$ to $14.99 so youre forced to order one more thing to get the free uber delivery so i ended up picking it up. The restaurant looked nice on the inside but man this food is so gross its all greasy and tastes like burnt oil i cant even eat it! The wings smelled like cheap chicken and look at the size of it must be from that low quality sargent farms steroid wings for sure dont believe any of the other reviews they charged me close to 17$ for this garbage and its not worth it nor is it edible there are much better hakka spots in the city AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Never again am i coming here
Amazing chinese, Mumbaikars do visit this place, You will find the taste of our local desi chinese. I am definitely coming back soon. Good food in a reasonable amount.
