Halenda's Meats Bowmanville

My whole order seems to have gone bad I took back the order and they replaced some but now as I’m going through it it’s all bad. Worst $335 I have spent to get meat that is bad definitely not fresh. Manager should have replaced entire order. Don’t waste your money

Hit and miss these days with Halendas. Bacon is super overpriced, T Bones have little to no tenderloin on them and don't buy the meatloaf. Chicken breasts are slimy and very fatty as well. Ribs, Sausages, Burgers and Pork Chops are a good buy though. Overall still stopping in but pick and choose what you buy.

Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Great place to buy meat. Great service.

Love the products, I'm only giving it 4 stars, and I'm going out of my way to post 4 stars because of my recent experience here. What kind of butcher doesn't sell quarter or half cows? I know it's not the most popular request, but it saves big money for the consumer over long term and the butcher than gets a nice lump sum payment. I get there are regulations around proper handling and storage of meat but not being able to accommodate a meat lover was quite disappointing. No need to stress over this review, I'll be back for my dozen eggs time and time again, I'll just have to buy my freezer full of meat elsewhere. Love Halenda's and the good vibes, just wanted to support a local business in a transaction that would have been beneficial for both the business and the consumer.

Tryed cabbage rolls two different times, are tough and cabbage terrible.do like other things there though

If your are planning a BBQ this is a great place to get your meat price is reasonable and the meat is always fresh.

Their meat is always fresh and I love their ready made chicken dishes, they are so good. The grocery products are good but pricey.

This Halenda’s is a hidden gem. Lots of great food creations that the other locations don’t carry. My favourite meat shop!

Good selection of meats and prices are fair. Literally, the main butcher I head to and warmer weather for BBQ's will only get more visits.

I'd give this store 5 stars but I went in for cookies, which are usually $1.00 for 3, it's been a week since my last purchase and today the cookies are 75% increase!? Just greed in my opinion! The little bit of happiness I'd get from their cookies is gone. I suppose I have no use to go back there now. Thanks for previous cookie sales!

Meat is fantastic I love the fact you can order how much or how little you want.all the people behind the counters have been friendly helpful and patience

It's so rare these days to be welcomed and treated as a valued customer as soon as you walk in. I was greeted by at least 3 staff whose
sincerety and genuine
autonomy for their workplace was immediately apparent. This is a testament in itself but the quality and selection is also over the top. I will make this my first stop for fresh meats from now on.
