I've been going to this part since I was a child all the way through to my 30's now and it's a lovely place. I only give it 4 stars as it is starting to show its age in places. Particularly the basketball court by Charlton is in rough shape and has been for a decade. The facility building is incredibly out of date and needs to be rebuilt and expanded. The park has quite a few flowers on the Charlton side but the whole park could use more around it. I do know the park is slated for a redevelopment at some point so those would be welcome changes.

Other than those minor things, there are new basketball hops on the middle school side along with 4-square courts. On the opposite side is a splash area and playground. Lots of benches and trees to sit under on a sunny day. Is overall a lovely park to spend a nice day in!

Large open space with cinder track. Water park for kids, basketball net, benches and shady spots. Nice family place to let the kids run around a bit.

Just moved into the neighborhood & love being close to this park. My dog would have written a 5 star review but her paws couldn't express her love for the walks in HAAA.

A quaint little park on a one way residential street - the Charlton Ave. W. Cars can be parked on the street in front of the houses with caution.
The park is maintained by HAAA and has a 400m mud track. The centre of the ground is grassy. There are 2-3 smaller play areas in two corners catering to basketballers and primary school kids (slides, swings etc).
The Ryerson Recreation Centre has a tennis court and other facilities adjacent to the park. The Ryerson Elementary School is located adjacent too and it shares the park facilities.
I have started using the park recently for my walking/jogging and my Pokemon Go.
And I recommend at least one visit to every like-minded individual.

Well used and maintained. People are social distancing. Great to see so many people out being active.

So thankful to have this place right around the corner during this COVID mess. It's a lifesaver to safely exercise outdoors. People are respectful of distancing. The facilities are easy to access from all directions. The washrooms are open and clean.
