Got my 2 kittens neutered here. The staff was most professional and kind. They also called me to get my consent when there was a risk posed prior to the procedure, which I greatly appreciated. They also took care of my kittens' mating as well as shaved an area per my request. They went above and beyond.

It’s disgusting that an agent over the phone would suggest palliative care for a kitten that is ill and needs surgery. Where is the compassion? You guys clearly don’t have that.

Exceptional service and a staff that truly deserves recognition for their incredible hard work.

During our visit to have our cat Lily spayed at the Hamilton Burlington SPCA, I caught a glimpse of the emotional challenges these remarkable people face day in and day out. Similar to doctors and nurses or anyone in a medical profession dealing with high levels of emotion, it's crucial to acknowledge that they are individuals too. Facing decisions that involve the lesser of two evils is still difficult. There's no reason to blame someone or lose patience with a person just doing their job.

Remember to stay kind and understanding, especially when hearing something you might not want to hear

P. S lily's recovery is going great

We have adopted 2 dogs from this location, and have been met with wonderful staff and a smooth adoption process both times! They are friendly, willing to answer any questions, and there for you through the entire process! They do great things in the community, and deserve our support! I cannot recommend rescuing a pup here more!

Got my woof rabies shot last week, they charge fairly good price $35 compare to other animal clinic and give us a little gift after the shoot. There are street dogs available for adoption now, if you are interested check there website for the details.

Their policies and how they manage the dogs is atrocious. As a dog trainer myself, they need some rearranging. I personally watched and was told to stand back as their greeting and adoption lady at the time, Sherry I believe her name was, forced a dog into a kennel while the dog was losing her mind, having a panic attack. She did nothing to calm her. Just kept pushing the poor animal into a cage. My specialty is fear aggression and fear based submission and helping rehab animals who have come from hard situations and/or have anxiety issues. Their canine system is broken and it's very unfortunate. The cat adoption program is better managed, the vet clinic.great. But they don't do a lot to help dogs except shuffle them off to a new owner. The dogs deserve better.

Provided a rabbit nail trim for $15. Would love an easier booking process (info online about the service and who to call?) but overall great to have this option!

I recently stopped in at this location for a quick check up for my dog and the experience was great! I was greeted by staff at my appointment time and they were amazingly friendly and helpful. He is very nervous around vet staff so they kept everything quick and painless so he will be happy to see them next time. I will be back again later for the leash free dog park which is awesome.

Called up i found that the rates for adopting animals are crazy. Which animals need care and love are going to stay there forever. $250 for a barn cat and the rates go up. Covid 19 has nothing to do with pets. Anyways if they don't lower their rates or even give them out for free then there will more pets dying from loneliness. The best care takers are the ones with a big heart.

They have always assisted me with my colony. I can't imagine my life without the support they have given me! Thanks so much to all of you!

Awesome for looking after your pets. I had the pleasure of speaking with two of staff members and they were extremely nice and helpful. They explained everthing and answered every question we had. By far better than these private vets who will charge you hundreds just by walking in thier clinic. Highly recommended. Thank you for what you do and who you are. Appreciate all the work you do.

If you are looking to adopt a furchild this is the place to go. They are very thoughal with the adoption process. It kind of felt like a job interview, but, that's good! They want to make sure the fur children under their care go to forever homes.

I have been calling them for 2 days and leaving messages that I have some medical donations for them if they want it. Do you think they would get back to me? NOT A CHANCE. I guess if it was money they would be calling before I could hang up the phone. If they ever get back to me I will update this post

I just had them all fixed up and I’m glad that they were able to take them because it would’ve cost me like it has been because they haven’t been open to take any animals but I mean going to the hospital they charge you all kinds of fees and stuff like that you walk out of their own $200 a cat where is for $95 you get the cat neutered fully chipped Defleaed And their shots

I had my cats spayed and neutered at the community vet clinic. The staff were great in explaining the procedure, were very loving with my cats, and all around fantastic. After care was offered but not needed. I highly recommend this community service if you have cats as it is only 95$ (unless you get into one of their 20$ spay days - check out their FB for details as they go monthly by postal code) and helps reduce the amount of unwanted kittens in the city! It's win win!

Love how the field isnt so big for my smaller dog. People are way way better and everyone gets to know everyone as we are all friendly including dogs. Love how they have a separate gate to get into for the river part. If I don't want to have a muddy dog I don't have to worry about it as the one in ancaster worry as she goes flying for it. Love this place
