Absolutely terrible and horrible! The receptionist just barked and screamed at patients. They are so condescending. They made me very uncomfortable! I am so sorry I needed your help and service. It seemed such a burden to even answer the phone. Oh my gosh, quit your job, Claudia! Go home and relax if you hate your job THAT much. They SURE can tolerate their own verbal abusive behavior towards their patients.

Was barked at by the receptionist for no apparent reason, I asked a simple question in a very polite tone after I waited online queue for 30 minutes and then waited on hold for another 5 waiting for the receptionist

My son will be six months on the 18th. He was due for a well being check up. I figured because it is only a well being check up a nurse practitioner should be just fine through the clinic. I was wrong. They wouldn’t accept my son because his temporary health care paper wasn’t deemed acceptable. From my understanding temporary does not give a time period. I have my sons plastic health care card at home but he is not past six months so it wasn’t necessary to have it. My son was denied health care. The front desk had the audacity to say “he looks healthy to me”. I’m sorry but that remark from the front desk says to me that asymptomatic must not be a thing. Which we were all lied to about during Covid. I digress… Anyways here I am pressured to pay 60 dollars which I don’t have. Mind you I do have but have you looked at the current climate of Canada that 60 goes towards my gas, food etc…. Or I rebook. I never rebooked and I went to my sons docters office and made an appt instead. I think the exception should be aloud in this case. Waste of my time, waste of a babysitter. Waste of everyone’s time.

I was a patient at this practices for about a year before i found a much better and helpful doctors office.i was a patient of dr. West and she would refuse to see me and transferred me to speak to a nurse about my health concerns. The receptionists are very rude and won't let you speak. They would argue with me all the time about my care that they don't even know about not to mention you can stay on hold for at least an hour just to get a hold of them. This was the worst family doctors office I've ever been to.

Please, If you don't already have a Dr or are looking for a new one, do not use this clinic. I cannot stress enough how terrible of a practice this place is.

Worst clinic ever! Except for nurse practitioners. Dr. Pek is not only an inept physician but also is never available for appointments. She is still running her practice as if we are in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic. She doesn't make herself available to the patients to refill medications that patients are taking for years nor her clinic entertain refill requests by Shopper Drug Mart. Not only that, they blatantly lie that they never got it. It's been a usual way of business for her. I would highly caution anyone if you care about your mental and physical sanity to find any other physician but Dr. Pek.

PS: the receptionist, Sharon, is further adding to mental health deterioration of anyone calling. Rude, racist, inept, and just a horrible person overall who doesn't want to help anyone!

I have to agree with all the posts about the receptionists. Especially one in particular by the name of Sharon she is very abrupt, rude and dismissive of any facts or details you try to explain. She is outright pernicious when communicating with you. And then has the audacity to say your being rude when your just simply asking questions pertaining to your direct health. Also filed formal complaints and have not received a phone call or email by the director of this department. Only good thing about this office is Dr. Zalters replacement Dr. Haikalis.

I just had a horrible experience speaking with a receptionist named Sharon. Last week I called the office and was directed to call back this week after being told my current physician no longer works at this practice and will receive information about which new physician I will have and can book then. I am also at the end of in my third trimester. I call back this week and was spoken to so rudely and condescendingly about my questions about my new doctor and that my expectations to be booked in before my baby is born are unrealistic. I could have booked last week but was told to wait. I also work in healthcare and understand the pressures, yet taking it out on patients who spend upwards of 30 mins waiting to get though is unacceptable. The doctors and nurse practitioners at this office are lovely and my experiences with them have been very positive. However, they truly need to rethink both their booking system and what kind of professionalism is being shown by their front facing staff.

My doctor and the nursing staff are lovely and professional, but some of the receptionists are very rude (without provocation). I empathize with the challenges they face dealing with difficult patients, but that doesn't justify being testy and mean-spirited toward polite patients.
