The food at Hamilton Dabbawala was excellent! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definently recommend trying the momos

One can be away from india but not indian food. This place has some of the best options for indian food. Must visit once.

Food quality is amazing and great service! We ordered the unlimited platter and staff was extremely helpful with every request!

Had Daal baati and Pizza
Both were very good with good portion.

I picked up one of those too good to go things. What I got was some kind of tasteless round things that were stale and soup. If it costs 15 bucks for soup and stale bread, I'd never order from there.

One blogger just try to advertise it but, true story is, food is some how below average one time experience, if you try ice gola please do not buy 14.99 one, better to buy 3.99 one, worth it believe me. Paw bhaji need more improvement, dabeli is awesome, no wash room, in the store,

I visited here and order ice gola,
The color in it was not good quality.
And this is not what I am worry about.
But the place was horrible, dirty dishes were on the table, dustbin was open which was next to trays which was used to serve food.
Apart from them floors were even worst, I have pictures but won't post.

$15 for ice and a scoop of ice cream is not acceptable … none to 2-3 dry fruit discovered which is the soul of dish gola … totally disappointed… they need a lot of improvement… people coming only due to monopoly for now but need a lot of quality improvement in dish gola …

Today we visited! Our mind was blown with such good options and their fresh food! Loved their aloo puff Patties, noodle burger, waffle pizza with amul cheese and Manchurians! Everything was top notch! Would recommend to everyone who loves street side Indian flavours

Tried various places in Hamilton, best tiffin services till date.fresh and delicious food, brings new dishes every now and then. One cannot be bored from their tiffin services. Good work guys.keep it up and feed us as always. Loved their ice dishes specially the care they take for amount of toppings and flavours.loved it

The worst combination of food! I ordered their 1 day trial. It came with black chana sabzi, dry brittle rotis, very dry rice and worst tasting kadhi and some fried chips! (No salad) It was the worst combination of food with very ordinary taste. Would not recommend at all. Stay away and cool at home instead.

Good Indian food, we booked catering Oder for 110 people. All the food items in breakfast as well as lunch was fabulous and @ reasonable price. Must visit place in any festive as the also provide festive foods.

"DO NOT TRY ICE DISH GOLA"

Just had an ice gola dish couple of minutes ago. We ordered an ice gola dish worth $6.99. While ordering we were told that the dish will include 2 flavors of our choice, dry fruit, cream, etc. But when the dish came there was nothing as expected. Ice was not crushed properly that feels bite in mouth. There was no proper taste of flavors they added to the dish. There was only 1 piece of cashew and I think less than a spoon of cream. Total waste of money.

I am unable to reply so I am editing my review to answer your reply. It is not about money it is all about a quality and an experience. I would love to give reviews F2F but unfortunately I left. Surely, you have premium options but I think you should look after your basic quality first. How would I spend more money on premium option when I am not satisfied with your regular one.

Who hasn’t heard of Mumbai’s famous dabbawalas!? Hamilton Dabbawala brings you that amazing home-style desi food much closer to you. They are the only restaurant to deliver dabbas (tiffin) seven days of the week. And it's not just the regular dal, curry, chapati and rice. Their menu has much more to offer. Imagine getting to eat a fresh new item from their menu every day.

We visited their outlet and enjoyed the coolest street specialities such as the summer favourite ‘Golas’ (ice cones), kathi rolls, vada pav, pani puri, dahi chaat, momos, chole bhature and much more?

We've all experienced noodles in spring rolls, but noodles between the mighty buns was such an interesting spin in their desi-style Noodles Burger.

Their scrumptious Kathi Rolls are a must-eat too. The paneer tikka stuffing oozing all the tangy sauces, was such a delicious treat.

What stole the show was their Waffle Pizza, another street specialty with a cheeky spin. The pizza was literally dripping loads of Amul cheese, which the chef claims, we wouldn’t find served anywhere else in Canada! In fact, Dabbawala has a whole range of pizzas to order from?

Biting on the hot and spicy ‘Dal Baati’ was a first in Canada for us. The ‘bati’s were cooked perfectly, coated in ghee, and had a nice crunch even when soaked in the dal. The portion size was good enough for 2 people.

The ‘Vada Pav’ and the ‘Pani Puri Chaat’ are some other recommended street items, where the flavours of the chutneys will leave you wanting for more.

We had catering order from them. Excellent service and response from start to finish. They delivered the food for 40 person to the door step and it was really delicious. 100 % recommend for the big orders. Food was great in quality as well as quantity. Will order again.

We ordered waffle pizza and highly recommend it. We also got vada pav, egg bhurji, and poha. All tastes home made. Great Indian food and pizza!

Overall had an average experience here. Food was good but service is little slow but that may be because of the working conditions there. It was so hot there that we couldn't stand there waiting for our food. Personally, we felt bad that employees are working there in that conditions. Sitting arrangement was also not that great, tables were dirty and sticky. Hope management will work on this.

I am using their Tiffin service since last couple months. For 175$ a month (5 days a week) is a decent price which includes delivery. Delivery drivers are polite and friendly all the time and this business meet the our requirements with flexibility. Generally we get 1 Sabzi, 1 dal/kadhi, Rice and 4 roti with something (aachar/papdi) small on side. Unfortunately they need to keep Sabzi’s quality consistent as it’s great sometime while it’s not other times. Anyways it’s not bad for students with not very expensive price.

Hi, I am taking their tiffin services since last month. The food is delicious and homely. Spices are well balanced. They try to make new recipes many times. I like their kadhi, Palak Paneer and Khichdi. I am impressed with the prompt delivery service. I appreciate overall efforts in tiffin I am getting, can improve on quality of chapatis. Thanks

My in-laws were visiting us for a long period of time and since both me and my husband are working, we decided to try the Hamilton Dabbawala tiffin services, and I’ve no regrets! The food is tasty and nicely packed to ensure no spills or leaks by the time it reaches you. I also want to add that they are very accommodating and flexible to suit the deliver dates you prefer. The portion sizes are fair and gravy sabzi always has good consistency (not runny/watery). They’re also easily reachable via phone or WhatsApp. Overall a good experience and I would certainly recommend them if you’re missing Indian food.

Ordered a samosa poutine for lunch today. I've never had anything like it. I was expecting some samosa innards sprinkled on top of fries. I was wrong. The samosas WERE the fries. Very hard to explain but I'll probably eat a dozen of these so I can work on my description. Aside from being fairly priced at just under $10, the portion was so big I could only manage half. To top it off I forgot my leftovers work and I'm remote tomorrow! I may just have to make the trek in to rescue the other half of that dish. Thanks Hirsh!

So far the best take out place for Indian food.tasty lip smacking fresh food. Loved the variety of dishes they have under one roof. Starting from chaats, sandwich, momos, roti and sabji’s, deserts and newly started ice gola.

Food is delicious and it goves the home made authentic taste and as well as great options in menu and send messages when the tiffin has been dispatched and once recieved on the app message comes. Great service.

Not the cleanest place. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, this place should stick to their Indian menu. No business making pizza. The sauce is bland and chunky. The dough was raw, I called and told them and they remade the pizza for us to pick up. And.again.the dough was raw. Also, the bacon strips were also raw and rubbery. Please, do is all a favor and discontinue making pizza and stick to your Indian menu.

First time trying this place and I was impressed. The veggie Kathi roll was delicious. I wish it had more veggies tho, seemed to me that all that was inside the roll was onions and green bell peppers. Super spicy but in a good way. Most Indian restaurants have Canadianized their flavours and have made their food mild, but not this place. Indian food is supposed to be spicy ️? I will definitely go back to try other things on their menu.

One suggestion: I wish they get rid of the gross looking couch and replace it with some seating area. They only have one table, facing a garbage can, right by the entrance (please wipe this table too).
