Dr. Dickson was my brothers doctor for years. He saw him regularly to get his prescriptions renewed. When I noticed my brothers memory declining to the point he could not remember his DOB, phone number, address etc I knew something was wrong. So I went with my brother to see Dr. Dickson (he was 64, single and always turned to me for advice). I knew if I sent him by himself he would forget to mention his memory problems. He also was having problems with his back. When Dr. Dickson came in sure enough the first thing my brother mentioned was his sore back. Dr. Dickson asked him to stand and pressed on his lower back and told him there was definitely some inflammation and sat to write him a prescription for an anti inflammatory. I then spoke up and told him of my brothers memory problems. He did not even look up from writing the prescription which I thought was strange. You see I too know Dr. Dickson very well as he was my family doctor up until he retired his practice. I told him my brother was also having problems completing sentences because he could not remember his words.
He stood up and said to me “memory can be a problem as you age” and walked out of the room. I could not believe this. I was seriously concerned about my brother and he was brushing me off.
To make along story short. My brothers health and memory continued to decline. I finally found a family doctor who would agree to see him. The day of his appointment he collapsed on the street a few blocks from his apartment. An ambulance was called and when he could not remember where he lived he was taken to emergency. He told the ER doctor he had a bad headache. A CT scan was done and they found a brain tumour. He was admitted and further test showed the tumour was not located anywhere else in his body. He was seen by a neurosurgeon who told me the tumour was not cancerous but because it had been left so long it was too large to operate on. If he had got help earlier it would have been possible to remove the tumour and live a normal life. If they attempted to operate he would most likely spend his remaining years in a nursing home. He remained in the hospital and died two months later. It was said to watch my once healthy intelligent brother wither away to skin and bones. He worked for over 30 years at Stelco.
This was so unfair and it could have been avoided by Dr. Dickson sending him for a few simple test. It is time for Dr Dickson to retire.

Great clinic! Very short wait, especially compared to other clinics, clean waiting area and Dr. Dickson was very friendly and efficient! Also they're open on Sunday's which is when most clinics are closed.

Excellent walk in clinic. Sunday 10 am and the doctor was taking patients, I didn't have to wait. Doctor was very nice, helped me and my daughter.

First time here, thought I write a good review for Hamilton Medical Clinic. The receptionist is super friendly, the doctor seems like a good practitioner.
The pharmacy attendees next door were also friendly.

Highly recommend this place! Both Dr. Arora and Dr. Dickson took the time to explain my conditions as well as my treatment options. They really put you at ease at this clinic!

Avoid going there especially if you are gonna deal with Dr. Dickson (the old male doctor). I went there because my child was crying from his ear infection and couldn't even touch it and the doctor say I don't see anything inside his ear. Yes you don't see anything but that doesn't mean he doesn't have an internal infection. I informed him that happened to him many times before and he should take some medication to relieve the infection but he didn't listen and I left with my poor child suffering. Now I am waiting in another walk-in clinic to see a hopefully better doctor.

I was lucky enough that the clinic was dead when I went, but my experience here was awesome. Went in for a persisting cough, the Doctor was so friendly. Was in and out within minutes. Such a great experience!

I have been visiting Dr. Dixon for a few years now and am very grateful for all of his knowledge and expertise. He takes the time to listen and always has an insightful response. The receptionist has always been very kind upon calling and/or dropping in. Thank you

Dr. Faizah Ilyas was rude, condescending, careless and unprofessional.she failed to listen to the my concerns and address symptoms regarding my medical condition and feeling unwell. She refused to review old blood work, order new blood work or other diagnostic testing, send referrals, or address symptoms, and did not explain why. Finally, she stated she could not do anything for the me, and hung up on. Horrible doctor!

Came to this clinic near the closing time and there was a relatively long line up - the staff was kind and the doctor even stayed after closing hours just to see me!

Been twice to this clinic with an appointment. Seen almost immediately. Saw the same doctor both times - he was very experienced and listened well. Diagnosis and treatment worked well. This is a very good clinic and I would highly recommend.
