Hamoudi's Shawarma - South Windsor

Picked up their Chicken Shawarma bowl this Sunday right when the place was opening. This is what I got dry basmati kind rice, lightly seasoned chicken, few pieces of vegies (lettuce, some pickled garlic & onion pieces and few other prices of some cucumbers, hummus and garlic sauce). It was a small portion in which costed me $16+. I find this food to be very highly priced for the taste and portions

Worse customer service ever. I had to call 3 times to place an order and the girl kept putting me on hold and hung up. I decided to go in with my kids and once I was paying I asked why she was doing so and couldn’t even speak proper English. As she was giving me my bag once I was cashed out she gave it to me with aggression. Never again.

I have ordered sandwich and while l was eating l found a hair I was very disappointed l pay to enjoy and have clean food.as l would be more cation stuff members on health and safety for customers what if l ate it! Note this is the 3 time l find hair on my food please take action thank you

Great place. Great food. Great on them for supporting the Palestinian cause and showing their heart and humanity with the donation box to help with food and medicine.

Meh. Average bland and typical middle eastern food. Went in with some higher expectations, but came out scratching my head. They could add some more flavour to their meats. There are better options out there.

The food is good, but Shawarma is little dry. My family loves it but I like a little juicy.

I go here quite often. Food is good but their customer service is terrible. Staff at the billing don’t even respond if you say “thank you”.

One of the best shawarma in the world. Tried shawarma in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Italy and USA, This is the best.

Super Dry meat in the platter. Shawarmas twice the price for half the flavor and moisture.

I lasted 5 seconds in this place, before deciding no thanks, and walking out, with nothing happily. I asked for a chicken shawarma plate. The guy behind the counter asked rice or fries. I asked for rice. Then he immediately grabs a handful of tomato's. I said what are you doing! He said oh what do you want? I said none of that. He didn't understand English and hovered over the salty pickle junk. As if I wanted the stuff I said no to. He looked at me blankly so I turned around and left. My point here is "I the customer get what I want. Not what you feel like giving me. I get to choose. Not you. " Do someone that wanted meat garlic and rice is not allowed at your restaurant. Good to know.

We love and used to eat from this restaurant but for some reason they have changed their taste of the shawarma.the meat lamb was smelled bad and the chicken was dry and has no taste at all no sauce.very disappointed

I reviewed the Lakeshore branch also. The food is just as good. The staff is friendly. I like the fact that it is tasty and fresh. It is a winning recipe. It is in another league to the other fastfood joints. The prices did go up a but it went up everywhere else too. And if I had to choose between the other fastfood and Hamoudis it will be Hamoudis every time

Shawarma was dry, tabuli was blah and had a hair in it, when I pulled it out and showed the girl the hair probably a beard hair (most likely from the guy who stood scratching his beard) she took my tray that had my half ate salad, didn't offer any apology and said, "we can make you another one". I said I don't want another one. As if I could eat after that or would eat another. Good Lord at least offer the price of the salad back, even half the price.
