Hampton Inn by Hilton Midland

Well maintained hotel with very basic amenities that are consistent with all Hampton Inn Hotels. The rooms are very neat and tidy. The front desk officer - Ashlee has been extremely welcoming and supportive. We were 2 families on a trip to Muskoka and really wanted to use the breakfast area to have our dinner and she allowed us to use that space. We had a great time having dinner and had a wonderful time chit chatting with friends. Overall an amazing place in Midland.

We were staying at the hotel for a Lacrosse tournament but they day we were arriving they called and said that the air conditioning broke (mid summer) and that we could stay at another hotel or get $20 off per night so we decided to stay but when we got to the room there were crumbs on the table, dirt on the floor, dark curly hairs in the bathroom, and something sticky on the head board. So we went to the desk and they said that they could spilt the two minor children into a different room from the parent and that the rooms weren’t close to each other or she could clean the room herself because they only had two staff members working on a long weekend and the tvs did not allow you to watch any Netflix or connect to a different HDMI.

Iman, is a liar.

When we walk in and ask how much a night and he says 169.99, we proceed to say okay we would like 2 rooms for 3 days.

When the total was priced out the math did not make sense so we asked about the pricing.

He tried to play it off like it was just the total with tax and the deposit.but literally on my phone and the calculator, it still did not make sense. When he started to do it with the calculator it still didn’t add up for him until he told us,

Oh your rate changed per night.

Today is 169.99
Tomorrow is 179.99
The 3rd day is 189.99.

He tried to scam us 30$ per room extra totalling 60$ for both rooms.and proceeded to tell me that it is our fault for not booking online in advance and that that’s just show the system works.

Without even second questioning myself for this bad math without any notice. I canceled my stay here and went across the road.

Not sure of the rooms. Location is nothing special and doesn’t justify the prices anyways. And the service with Iman was horrendous.

For a new hotel it is very dirty here. Room I got sheets underneath were wrinkled almost like someone already slept on them. Very gross pop was left in my fridge from the person who slept in that room before me.do you not open the fridge as you clean the room? Why would the housekeeper think I wanted someone's left over pop that's gross it should of got taken out of the room. Bags of chips are in lobby my 8 year old got yelled at for touching the bag that I was going to purchase for him I told him to get the bag he wanted pretty much accused a 8 year old of stealing when he never even left the lobby very sad. This place needs a new hotel manager and better house cleaning I won't be back. Drove 7 hours one way.for this awful experience I'll be coming back down for butter tart festival now I know to avoid this hotel if you have kids this is not the place where children are welcomed

A pretty new hotel. Very clean. Service was excellent. Good breakfast. Liked che in, room selection, check out, digital key features of the app.

I stayed at the hotel for the long Victoria Day weekend for 2 nights. I made a cautious reservation because the hotel had no reviews or many photos on social media. The reason is that the hotel is new. It opened its doors in April 2023, which is why we don't see many reviews on social media.

That's why I tried to upload as many photos as possible and will write an extensive review:
The hotel is brand new, so its furniture and spaces are brand new as well.
The complimentary parking for guests is very spacious and accommodates large vehicles.
It is located within a short distance of some restaurant and shopping options.
The service includes breakfast. The hot breakfast is served on the ground floor of the hotel and includes options that vary, such as pastries, omelettes or scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, coffee, milk, fruits, and toast. You can also make your own waffles.
The breakfast was decent, although the replenishment of hot food was a bit delayed on the weekend. It was evident that they were not yet accustomed to the hotel being fully occupied. I'm sure they will improve this over time by reinforcing the staff in the breakfast area.
One detail I liked is that at the 24-hour reception, they have complimentary coffee or tea for preparation.
The check-in and check-out process was super smooth and fast.
The hotel has a heated indoor pool. It mainly caters to children and fulfills its purpose excellently.
It also has a small gym.
The room I had included 2 large beds, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. The bathroom was spacious with a shower.
Additionally, the room had a work desk if needed, an ironing board, an iron, a hairdryer, shampoo, soap, towels, and a coffee maker.
The internet speed that I measured during my stay was 10 Mbps download and 11.5 Mbps upload.
In summary, it is a good option, and I am satisfied with the price I paid and what I received.

First time to midland with family. What a clean wonderful hotel experience. Breakfast, pool, comfortable size of room, customer service (Ann at front desk), everything was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again. My daughter loved it too (3yrs).

Might be a good place to stay but the way they treat thier staff us unreal no breaks always having to stand wow so so wrong i would not support thus place at al

The place is great with great customer service amazing spot for the hotel close to amenities. Beds are terrible uncomfortable to sleep on. I live 3 hours away and I had to pull over into a parking lot to have a nap to make it back home. The whole reason to get a room was to get enough rest for the ride home with a toddler and a 10 year old. Disappointing with the uncomfortable beds that left me very tired today. Other than that 5 star

A must stay! This hotel is really amazing. It looks great, has a modern feel to it, and the whole team/staff here were very customer service focused versus another hotel we looked at. The rooms are clean, the HOT food selection made us feel welcome, and overall feeling was they cared. This is a new hotel apparently in town and I would suggest you stay here if you are in the Midland. We will definitely be back soon.
The room are really nice and modern. They don’t feel dated. The beds are so comfortable and love the shower area. Lots of room in there. The whole family feel asleep very fast and had a great rest. You need to try these beds.

Great place to stay in Midland. Brand new hotel and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
