Hampton Inn Sudbury, Ontario

Was travelling through Sudbury for work and had a large trailer behind me. Phil the maintenance guy came outside to help me get it parked. Thanks Phil.

Hampton inn and homewood are both great hotels to stay at when travelling to/through Sudbury. Very convenient and friendly.

Although only a 3 star hotel, its what we needed during our stay: clean quiet room, friendly professional staff, reasonable price and location that we wanted.

We pulled in on our way further north and needed a room, the gentleman at the front desk Andrew was more than helpful. Very pleasant and quick to get us checked in. The room was very nice and breakfast in the morning was great. But definitely Andrew's greeting and friendliness sold us on this place.

Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast area shut down due to Covid but boxed breakfast available. AC in room worked very well but was a tad noisy. Have stayed here before and will do so again.
Latest trip to Sudbury and we stayed here again in room 216. Still love the hotel but would not want this room again. It is at the front of the building so traffic noise is consistent, as are elevator sounds and ice machine sounds.

We were given an adjoining room, and were very disappointed that we could here voices from the other room, especially after we were retired for the night.

Arrived to check in and although they had all of my information, I was told by the gentleman at the counter that they no longer had a room for me. There was also a kid warning us to avoid the fourth floor because there would be hockey parties all night. The gentleman proceeded to show us two rooms that would not work as they only had only one bed and we are a family of four before doing something on the computer and finding us a room on the 5th floor. Not a very welcome greeting at all, but at least he found us a room. The bathroom in the room smelled very musty. The fan did not work and there was mold in the shower. See attached photos. Gross. Plus side, beds were comfy and breakfast was decent.

Pretty sad. I called to book 30 rooms for may27, July 14&15. That's alot of money for the hotel and they refused me cause they won't book that many rooms at one time.what's wrong with businesses. Security deposits cover cancels.but it's a guaranteed wedding.come on.sorry people.we will give our business to someone else.

Staff are unfriendly at this location and do not grant your requests of essential bathroom items. (ie bathroom tissue and bath towels). This hotel needs to update their beds and pillows, they are horrible. They also need to adjust their attitudes and be kind and friendly. I felt targeted, no one else was treated badly in my workshop group. Hmmmm, makes me wonder, I am pretty friendly and kind. I understand people have a bad day, but their behavior towards me continued on throughout my stay.

Sunday afternoon check in.front desk staff are great as usual, we have stayed before. This time however we are somewhat disappointed.the pool and pool area is dirty.hair is visible on the pool decking and the water is not clear but cloudy and also hair visible floating around in it. The one bedroom suite, although spacious is well past its prime. Furniture is torn and worn out. We will see how the sleep is later.
Time for a major refresh at this location. Smart TVs would also be a nice touch.

The room and hotel was clean, but they need to update. They have no USB plugs in the room, so remember to bring your charger plug in.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. The city of Sudbury needs to put sidewalks for walkers

Amazing place to stay, great staff, great facilities and very clean! Highly recommend.

One note to visitors the luggage carts aren't meant for you to keep in your room until you check out!

The staff are friendly to me and my kids all the time. The beds are comfy, hotel is clean and the breakfast is good.

Service was great.
Room sucked. Stayed in a jacuzzi room for 2 nights, half the jets in the tub didn't work, the curtains don't close so there is no sleeping in with the sun in the morning, the room was super outdated, the bed was not comfortable at all.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed in the king whirlpool suite, we had a great stay and they helped out with anything we needed. I requested them to put a fridge in the room and they did it free of charge! I also forgot my power cable in my room, and I was able to get it back cause their service is awesome! Highly recommend

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Rooms are clean. There is a restaurant/bar (Shoeless Joes) next door. Location is near the 4 corners of Sudbury (Reagent&Paris) so easy to get places. Staff are friendly.
