Local Tournament cancelled days before and this hotel is refusing to accept cancellation without charging for a full night stay. 100% out the control of any of the families involved. Zero integrity. Horrible way to run a business. Annual tournaments in Guelph with several teams from our organization, but our teams will NEVER book here again. You've lost future revenue because of your lack of integrity. I hope this message spreads to other organizations that may consider booking with you. They should really reconsider.

My sons baseball team was supposed to play a tournament there so we had arranged a block of rooms. Only 2 rooms were booked as the rest elected to drive back and fourth.
The tournament got cancelled 4 days before the day it was supposed to start. A situation completely out of our control. This hotel refuses to extend any sympathy or courtesy for this circumstance and is choosing to uphold a one night charge of $260 less $50 as a penalty for canceling. Absolutely ridiculous. There was no way possible to meet their cancellation timeframe given we were only told 4 days prior to check in date.
Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Had very good stay at Hampton Inn & Suites in North Guelph. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is complimentary. Check in and out is quick and efficient. Recommend.

We stayed recently and found it's not up to par with Hilton hotels standards. Disappointing. Although the staff was Friendly & helpful, there was hair in the pool. Hot tub was closed. Furniture im room needs updating. The chairs were stained. The bed was too soft and carpets need updating.

Nice clean rooms if you want high speed internet. You will have to pay for it staff is very friendly. My only tip is clean the grease out of the breakfast meats. I had to shake it off before I put on my plate

My room was clean and easy to control the heating system. I would’ve liked a clock radio instead of just a clock. Breakfast is alright, eggs were cold. Staff is helpful. Hot tub was broken There’s an adjoining door in my room and sometimes I would hear the lock click. I would always make sure that it is locked in my side. But a female traveling alone, I would rather not have an adjoining room.

Worst experience ever had. The person at the front desk was very rude and unfriendly. He wasn’t responsible for his duties. I was trying to ask him about something and he was talking on his mobile with his friend and attitude was very unprofessional. The management should give him a lesson for his attitude especially when you working on front desk.

Stayed here for one night. Staff where friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was pretty good. I enjoyed my stay here and would come back.

Would not recommend this hotel. The manager is some old white guy who is extremely racist and was being rude when we were checking in. Once we were checking out, he would not give us our deposit back because there was some chocolate stains on the cover. His reasoning was that it would cost 200 dollars to wash the sheets. This place is extremely unprofessional and you would be better off anywhere else.

Very disappointed the treatment my family received. I'm a Hilton rewards member and we had a reservation booked under a hockey team room block. I understand the cancelation policy of 30 DAYS prior to cancel, but for the room block for the entire team. I call 6 days prior to our reservation and spoke to the sales manager Alec Pettit. Last name should explain the small man syndrome. I explained to him that my 8 year old son had just broken his arm and required surgery to input a rod in his arm. A serious injury. We needed to cancel our reservation, as my son would no longer be traveling with the team. He told me he could only cancel one night and that we would still be charged for 1 night at a rate of $214 a night. I explained to him that the rest of the team was still going and only our room would need to be canceled. He did not care! He could not make an exception, that they say no to everyone no matter what. I understand that he probably hears every excuse and was offering to provide documentation of sons injury. Couldn't ask care less. We were shocked at the attitude and decision of this "manager". Alec should not be employed anywhere in hospitality ever! Also called Hilton rewards to complain. Waiting to hear back on their resolution.

Room is bright and clean. Family friendly atmosphere. Well located for tournament. Central to arenas. Could use an armchair in the room. No place to sit. Beds are very high to get on. Breakfast selection was good. Chairs in eating area need cleaning.

Room was fine other than no hot water which happens some times. Person at front counter gave out a room key to my room without asking them to show any i.d which was scary to say the least. Then my CAA discount was not applied after being told it would be, now i find myself chasing them to try and get my discount applied. As well some people not hotel guests were “camped” out at front lobby entrance making it difficult to enter or exit hotel staff did not seemed to concerned even though one had a knife lol! Never again hampton inn!

In town for a funeral. Booked ahead for two nights - Fri, Jan. 27/23 & Sat, Jan. 28/23. Had to stay another night Sun, Jan. 29/23 due to a winter storm. On arrival on Fri.p. M.the driveway and parking lot had not been cleared of snow and ice. At bedtime Sat.night discovered there was no hot water. On calling the front desk to ask why all they said was "They're working on it" and led us to believe it would be fixed in the morning. Sunday morning still no hot water. Inquired at the desk enroute to breakfast and they had no helpful information to impart about when the hot water would be fixed. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told he was at meetings in Toronto. On our return to the hotel later on Sun.asked the desk clerk again when hot water would be fixed and he led us to believe "the final fix" would be complete Mon.morning. Monday morning still no hot water when we had to leave around 9: 30 am. On checkout all we were offered was a half-hearted apology. We were never actually informed about the extent of the water issue or offered an option of a rate refund so we could find alternate accommodation. For this problem to occur for more than 24 hours at a hotel of this brand is unacceptable. The rates paid are far too high for such shoddy service. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns in the past including this one on several occasions. The quality of the facility and service has gone way downhill. The vinyl on the benches in the breakfast room was flaking and peeling, the breakfast offerings were many but poor quality, the beds were too soft, cheap, gaudy, vinyl headboards. I used to regard Hampton Inns as better than average as refected in the rates. Not anymore.

Had late checkout which was nice. I was disappointed in the bathroom. For the price I expect more. There are two budget motels in the area that have upgraded better bathrooms than the one in the room I had. I was in room 425

Prices have jumped $100 since last year, and they now have an additional charge of $7/day just for a decent internet connection. They also charge an additional local tax. Same dingey out of date bathrooms, though. Stains on the carpets throughout the hotel. The hallway has a thick musky aroma. I know it's only a 3 star hotel, but it used to be better

Worst experience while on the road for work. Front desk said we could check out a day earlier as we needed to go to another city, and booked the hotel while in the lobby that the front desk gave me the number too.
Next morning they changed me for the room and wouldn’t refund me my money, they gave me a voucher which I didn’t want as it was their mistake not mine.
Called today to go there, and asked for my name and then said they have no rooms available, one of my employees called 20mins later and there was rooms.
Will never ever stay here again, rooms were not worth the price point and the food sucked.
Highly suggest going somewhere else.

Great experience.would be nice to have an extra night stand.when you sleep in one bed, one person has no where to set their personal things.
