I applied for PR card renewal online in August this year, but there was no news for more than two months. Because my mother was ill and needed to return to China as soon as possible to take care of her, I tried to contact Congressman Han Dong’s team by email. What moved me was that the day after the email was sent, I I received a reply, telling me that they could help me follow up on the progress of my PR card application, and assigned Ms. Elina to contact me. During the subsequent communication process, Han Dong's team, especially Ms. Elina, was always proactive and enthusiastic in providing me with help and informing me of progress in a timely manner, demonstrating an extremely excellent service spirit and extremely high professional standards. With the help of Han Dong's team, I learned the status of my PR card application in time, which helped me relieve my anxiety and finally got the new card smoothly. I would like to express my most sincere thanks to the Han Dong team and Ms. Elian! And I wish the Han Dong team a prosperous career and all the best!

Han Dong and his team helped with expediting my wife’s PR card renewal application. They were very quick to respond to my emails and kept us updated on every step of the way.

Throughout both of my visa applications (Temorary Resident Visa and Permanent Residence), MP Handong and Mk Wu have provided such great assistance in obtaining file statuses of my extremely delayed cases. Their office is very responsive, I get email acknowledgement just one day after I sent it. And they can get information from IRCC in about 1-2 weeks, a very quick turnaround time in my opinion, as compared to getting GCMS note myself. Thank you again!

For some reason, our application took much longer than it was supposed to be. We almost lost hope and we decided to contact Han Dong and his office. 2 months later, we got an interview with an immigration officer. After 3 hours of intensive interview, finally we got approved.
To be honest, I don't think Han Dong can squeeze you in and bump others. But they may be able to correct the mistakes made by someone.

Terrible communication and service overall. Never answering phone calls. Website not functioning. Hard to find someone to make an appointment. Pure Chinese mentality. Do not care about others (maybe except fellow Chinese). Impossible solving a Canadian probelm with this kind of foreign mentality. Who voted for this guy? Surely just his own people. Absolute disappointment

Dong privately advised a senior Chinese diplomat in February 2021 to delay releasing Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, the two Canadians imprisoned in China on espionage charges. Can you believe that?

The reason? Dong allegedly thought that if Beijing released the Two Michaels, the Opposition Conservatives would benefit.

I had great experience contacting Mr. Han Dong's office. They respond immediately or less than one or two business days, and even if necessary, on weekends. They are so helpful and try their best to help people solve their problems. They are so responsible, kind, respectful and carful. I do appreciate all their help and efforts. Canadians deserve answers and a full inquiry into the current allegations brought forward against this MP. If it is proven that a foreign country influenced our elections the perpetrators must be brought to justice, then immediately deported from our country with a lifetime ban on ever returning.
Canada is a beautiful country and we need to ensure that it does not fall into the hands of a dictatorship. Avoiding the vote on the treatment of Uyghur people in China, yet being present for the votes before and after that vote hints of an unwillingness to show any dissenting opinion of the CCP…this alone should warrant a full investigation, then deportation if necessary for the safety of Canadians and to protect our democracy.
