I enjoyed my meal here.it is all you can eat but items chosen from a list brought and served to you. The service was very friendly. Building very clean. I liked the music, sounded Japanese pop perhaps i wasn’t familiar with it but it was fun to listen to and quiet enough to talk if needed.
MENUS HAD NO PRICES! AND ONLINE MENU WAS NEVER UPDATED!
First of all, we came in 30 minutes before the kitchen closed (An hour before they actually closed) because we had such a SMALL ORDER. We were handed the “All you can eat menus” WITHOUT ASKING FOR ALL YOU CAN EAT! (They assumed? Really? 30 minutes before the kitchen closes?)
My husband and I ordered (ACCORDING TO THEIR ONLINE MENU ON THEIR WEBSITE) : 2 Ice Teas (?) 2 Miso Soups $4.90 1 Dynamite Hand Roll $4.45 1 Spicy Crispy Crab Meat Hand Roll $3.95 1 Spicy Crispy Salmon Roll Maki Roll $6.95
The total: 20.25 (without drinks)
TELL ME WHY THEY CHARGED US 30 DOLLARS? !? ! As for the food quality, the miso soups tasted like water, and the hand rolls were the size of 2 of my fingers! Never coming back to this place again! If you want some authentic delicious sushi, visit Strathroy Kitano Sushi (THEY ARE 1000000% BETTER!)
Way overpriced for the quality. Rolls have too much filler (avocado, cream cheese, etc.) and not enough crunch to add texture. Not great quality fish and shrimp. Tempura was not crispy. The meat dishes were overcooked. Noodles and rice were not flavourful and underseasoned. Beer wasn't cold. No wasabi or ginger served with sushi. The only redeeming factor was that our server was quick and delightful.
The food was ok but compared to decent quality sushi, is nothing special. It could be fresher. The big redeeming factor is the amount of options they have. The waitress was very quick to bring the bill without asking if we were finished. Food takes some time to bring out but that’s to be expected.
Hana used to be a great place to eat, yet I've seen it start to change. The food isn't fresh anymore, the staff clearly don't care about the customers, and the prices are outrageous. After going Today and seeing the status of the food I don't think I'll be returning
Horrible food. Yes really. Filthy menus, tables, bathrooms. Yuck. Sent most everything back. Management rude…. Too bad really, because this is my favourite style of restaurant (all you can eat Japanese fusion, like 168 sushi, august 8, spring, etc), and if the food were edible I would go all the time. I would only consider going back if the management and chefs changed.
Absolutely horrible experience.tried to overcharge me by $15, and the staff were so rude.no where on the menu did it state that they charge extra for leftover food, and they tend to decide how much extra you will pay depending on how much they like you.they were poking fun at me and who i was with the entire time.never again.if i could give this 0/5 i would.
I had a bad experience in this restaurant. Old food, the wasabi was terrible, service was fast but the food was the worst sushi restaurants I’ve been to. If customers pay so much for dinner, you guys must serve fresh food! Sad servers. I don’t suggest to support a business that doesn’t show any interest to serve the community in a better way.
The food was terrible. Half of it was un edible. We were seated as a group of 4 and only given 2 place settings. Our server was nowhere to be found. Asked for Wasabi and ginger for the table and was given 1 serving with 2 pieces of ginger and a dallop of dried out Wasabi. After the meal my husband took our 2 young kids to the car while I sat there for another 15 minutes just to get the bill. It's pretty bad when a 6 year old says grocery store sushi is better.
Waitress was rude. But the kicker is finding a Shard of Glass in our veggie rice that myself and my child was eatting. We brought to the attention of the waitress and she placed the blame on me. Because i randomly carry shards of glass with me. Will never return.
Great place to go for lunch or dinner. Wide variety of selections from the menu. Not a big fan of sushi but kids love the selections and quality of food. Prices were competitive with other sushi bars. Would recommend coming here as a healthy alternative to fast foods but come with an empty stomach to get your value and fill. Place is clean, service is excellent and close to other amenities to browse with a full stomach.
A little expensive for lunch especially if you add on over $4 for tea. The food was ok, however, overall the ranking would have been higher if I hadn't sat waiting for service staff to collect my orders (I had the AYCE but you submit paper orders) instead of having their heads buried in their phones.
I've always had a really good expirence at Hana. I perfer to dine in as take out can get a bit pricey. But I've always noted most if not all their sushi and dishes as well. I personally love the little cream cheese stuffed wanton! But all of the employees were very kind respectful and attentive. The resturant was always clean when I had gone to dine there. Yes it's a bit pricey but it's worth it if you can afford it for sure! Just make sure you have some time to fully enjoy the food and to make it worth while!:) Hana is great!
I loved eating at hana. Every time I did I've always had a great experience. The staff was always helpful kind and very knowledgeable. Very attentive never once had an issue. I prefer to dine in Then take out, and to make it worth your while I'm usually there 1 hour or more. But it's worth it, very tasty food! The sarnia roll is great, but my favrioute is the crab and cream cheese stuffed wanton! They have a wide selection, and that is all great! The establishment is always clean and very enjoyable to go to even when busy never really feels too crowded. The only downside is that it's expensive but if you can afford it. It is more than worth the money for it, especially if you're there for a while!
