Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa - Richmond Hill

I have been coming here for years for my massages. The therapists are all professional and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. They are great at what they do!

Today was my first time at Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa ; Richmond Hill. I had a wonderful facial with Naz. I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone interested in a facial. Thank you, GA

My husband and I have been coming here for massages for years and still enjoy their services a lot. Most of their RMTs are professional and great at what they do. I personally really like Serapina. Other than her excellent therapist skills, she’s also very interpersonal and caring. She even remembered how far along I was in pregnancy and how many months my baby is now. She’s lovely. I would’ve given a six-star if this review is specifically for her!

We did experience an issue with Hand and Stone’s survey system at one point though. They kept sending us these surveys and I thought I’d fill them out since I really like the place. They sent us coupons to use towards services afterwards, which was great but it turned out that we couldn’t use the coupons because we are members with monthly auto payments. It’s such a strange way to “reward” loyal customers. When I tried using the first coupon, it took them a long time to figure out I couldn’t. The receptionist did give me a complimentary service. I didn’t bother going back with the rest of the coupons however because the whole process felt like a pain

Don’t buy their “special gift cards”. Ie Christmas or Summer specials. Used to like this place a lot. Came here for years. Found it was the only decent place to use my WaySpa gift cards. I was okay with all the rules and regulations of the wayspa redemption but then felt totally taken for a ride after buying special GC (facials at discounted prices). I didn’t get to use right away due to Covid. It was not honoured post Covid. Had to pay the difference of the gc price to the reg facial prices - so why did you have the discount if it’s basically going to be the same price at the end? I bought 4 cards for me and the family. Had to argue the reasonableness of it the first couple of GC I used but then stopped fighting it and just gave in because I didn’t want to lose the value of the remaining GCs. I won’t be going here anymore. It’s a shame because the facials and massages are done by really nice people.

Peaceful and calming experience, although I left with a lot of the mask still on my face.
I thought my eyes brows were dry but the flakiness was it crusted into them as well as along my hairline.and ear. Not the most ideal situation to leave a spa with product not properly cleaned off your face.good thing I was heading straight home.

Wasn't the best the massage, the therapist used to much oil. Overuse of the forearm and elbows, it just felt like grinding on my back. They did not focus on the places I wanted stretched and massaged.

I took their Black Friday Promotion gift card by spending $130 for 50 min. The man who did the massage me was the worst experience I even had. My neck was still painfull after arrived home. He just didn’t know what is massage and was very rough n using wrong strength to get me hurt. I stopped him half way of the massage. Looked like he couldn’t care less. I will not come again. Don’t waste your time and money. Very disappointed service.

THE MAN WHO DID THE MASSAGE TO ME WAS NOT PROFESSIOAL AT ALL AND YET I GOT HURT ON MY NECK WITH HIS PULLING AND TURNING OF MY NECK. HE MASSAGE MY LEFT CALF AND FORGOT THE RIGHT SIDE. HE WAS ONLY TOUCHING MY BACK AND NOT MASSAGING. I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR OVER 10 YEARS IN 3 MASSAGE COMPANIES. OF COURSE, I KNOW WELL WHAT A MASSEGER SHOULD DO TO HELP CUSTOMERS. BUT THIS TIME WAS WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I EVEN STOPPED HIM HALF WAY TO CORRECT HIM BUT IT FELL INTO A DEAF EAR. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFULL EXPERIENCE. I WOULD NOT COME BACK AGAIN. YOUR MANAGER BONITA CALLED ME TO OFFER OF HALF PRICE OF NEXT VISIT. SORRY TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I AM NOT PAYING MONEY TO IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE AND STAFF. WHY SHOULD I PAYING MONEY TO GET MYSELF HURT. THE PAIN ON MY NECK IS STILL PERSISTENT SINCE THE MESSAGE, I MAY NEED TO VISIT A CHIROPRACTOR FOR TREATMENT. PAYING $130 FOR 50 MIN IS NOT CHEAP, SOMEWHERE CHARGE 1/2 OF THE PRICE FOR BETTER AND EXPERIENCE MASSAGERS. SAVE YOU HALF PRICE OFFER TO ME, I AM NOT CHEAPSKATE WITH THAT 1/2 PRICE OFFER PLUS TAX AS PER YOUR OFFER. THANKS BUT NO THANKS.

Overall was not bad, but I felt that more emphasis or focus could have been put on the areas mentioned that there were aches or pains. The ease to book an appointment online, quickness to start the appointment and time spent definitely met my expectations.

Professional staff, knowledgeable massage therapists who listen and use their professional mannerisms to discuss any issues you may have.

The service was excellent. The reminders were timely and online forms easy to complete. I had a deep tissue massage by F. Wong which was amazing. I found areas of tension that I was not previously aware of. I did not give five stars as I thought the prices were high.

I booked a last minute massage this morning with Joseph Kim and I can't begin to say thank you enough! I've had my fair share of massages and visited many spas and clinics and nothing beat my experience today at Hand & Stone Richmond Hill. The booking system is extremely user friendly, allowing me to complete all my paperwork online so I could arrive and start treatment without any hassle. Joseph took the time to understand what my goals for treatment were and helped me achieve every single one. I honestly think out of all of my massages, this has been my best. Hand & Stone really goes above and beyond when it comes to their COVID protocol, which is equally as important. I'm so happy I booked today & I'm looking forward to rebooking. Thank you again!

I had an appointment with Victor on valentine's day and it was the best ever! If you are looking for deep tissue massage he is the one to see. Perfect amount of pressure and he knows how to treat your problem areas. Check in and check out process was great. All covid protocols were taken. Looking forward to my next appointment here.

I went in for a Lymnod drain and I can say these guys know what they’re doing and I was feeling a lot better

I have visited this location a couple of times for a massage and it is by far my favourite! The staff are friendly, the space is clean and the therapists are professional. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon!

We paid cancellation fee for a prenatal massage appointment that we never made!
When I talked to the Manager about this, At the end, she said they are okay to loose 2 customers!
But should say the massage therapists were so good!

We come here often and have tried most of their therapists. They are all very professional and caring. I love their hot stone massage and I highly recommend getting it eventhough it costs alittle more than the regullar massage. Payment pricessing is always very fast and stress free.

Great massage! My family goes to Arezou, Michelle and Kenneth. They are great. Place is clean, therapist are great. In December, it gets busy as expected, and sometimes they are late, but they make up for it.

Amazing massage! I had Arezou as my massage therapist and she made my first visit very enjoyable. Arezou was so professional and kind, and made me feel like new! Thank you! I will deffinatly be returning when I come me back to visit TO.

We had a couple’s massage booked. We had a great time. The therapists are very professional and careful. The place is very clean and calm. You’ll get a very satisfying and relaxing feeling once you visit this place.

The lady was nice and my eyebrow shape was great. However, she went over the same spot several times and left me with a huge cut on my eyebrow. This was after me telling her I already had sensitive skin. I work in makeup and it's super ugly now to have such a huge cut on my face. She never should have went over the same spot so many time. Very painful. Will not be back.

The place is nice, first massage with Cameron was great, but second time was already so so. Price is high unless you are member but then you need to go there every month and typical benefits will not cover entire year.

This place is too dirty. They don’t seem to care much about the condition of the rooms and only care about money. Not going back.

The worst massage of my entire life! I wish i can rate 0. Was my first time (and definitely the last). Went to Richmond hill location and the new lady that was supposed to do a relaxing massage gave me the worst uncomfortable experience! Felt like a 2 year old pinching my body. Never again:)
