Rob and his team were extremely professional and set exspectetions from the very beginning. There were communicative and explained the entire process. There were no surprises we weren’t prepared for. Very happy with how our deck and awning turned out. Would be happy hire them again anytime and have refered them to friends and family.

Rob and his team did agreat job building our deck and installing our awning last year We love them both.

We fully did our job we removed a wall
We install a steal beam
We passed inspection
And now that we ask him to pls pay half at list of what’s pending
He accused of threatening him
And not doing our job
When u can see it’s ready for drywall witch we had someone already booked to come do it.
I offer to take $1,800 out the $6,884 he owes me.
I have picture of all the work done.he owes us $5,084
We even clean and left that place ready for mudding to show up

And told us pretty much he is keeping our money
To not contact him

Pls help us small business to not let someone like this hurt other hard working pls leave a review don’t allow him to keep doing this

We recently had the pleasure of working with HandyBros on a full renovation of our home (bathrooms, tiling, painting, kitchen, etc.). Rob and Ron were attentive, responsive, always on time and found creative ways to make our vision come to life. Above all, they treated our home with respect and took the extra care to keep everything clean and organized while we continued to live in the space during the entire 3+ month project. Rob did a fantastic job renovating two bathrooms in my home. He was extremely professional, honest and I always had a clear line of communication with him throughout all stages of the renovation. I rarely ever post a review but Handybros did exceptional work and I’d recommend them to anyone! My husband and I had initial conversations with several contractors before settling with HandyBros; Rob’s professionalism and work ethic spoke volumes to us and we’re ecstatic that we chose them for our renovations!

HandyBros did a relatively small job of relocating our washer and dryer unit in our condo. This involved quite a bit of electrical and plumbing work. Overall, it was a good experience. Rob is quite professional and pleasant. We have absolutely no regrets using this company.

Hired HandyBros to build a composite deck for our bungalow in Hamilton and we are extremely appreciative of the high quality workmanship. Rob took the time to add additional vapour barrier tape on the joists and his recommendation to add lights on the perimeter of the deck makes our deck stand out at night! Rob and his team were professional from the get go. Everything was explained, and supported with detailed quotes which would be updated as I added things! This company has integrity! Rob is very professional, considerate, and worked well with other trades (such as electricians on site). I would highly recommend Handy Bros!

We just bought our first home and felt so uncomfortable in it after taking possession. We found so many things that were poorly done by the previous contractor and that’s when we called HandyBros.

Rarely do you find people that are experts and honest in this business and HandyBros are both. Anything we needed fixed or replaced was done promptly & professionally and we are finally starting to feel like our house is becoming our home!

In this world of uncertainty you can be certain HandyBros is the only way to go!

We worked with Rob & Ron to add an ensuite bath to the master bedroom on the 1st floor of our house, remodel our walk-in closet and some adhoc tasks. As new immigrants with no experience of having worked with contractors before, we could not have been more pleased & grateful to them for successfully completing this huge project for us on-time and as per the budget quoted.
Apart from being nice guys, they are true professionals, organized, diligent and displayed excellent workmanship.
We are definitely calling them back for our future projects and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for stress-free home renovation activities!

We initially asked Handy Bros to provide a quote. Rob happily came out, provided a rough estimate, and then told us that we should move forward with Handy Bros completing a design for our project, with that money eventually being used for our landscaping work. Rob also noted that they would move quickly for us to ensure we would be able to complete our landscaping job this year. We agreed. During this entire time, Rob had been responsive.

Unfortunately, this is where our experience became horrible.

After taking our money, Rob became unresponsive and constantly made excuses for why he was delayed. He told us they're a small shop and very busy. He said he was sick and unable to provide the designs quickly. Finally, he provided designs that were not AT ALL what we discussed. I asked him for specific changes, but he went further unresponsive.

Fast forward two weeks, after we ask for a refund because Handy Bros can clearly not deliver even what we agreed upon, Rob FAKES AN EMAIL from two weeks prior, saying he sent it and magically it's the one email I never received, and also no refunds even though they did not deliver what we agreed upon. Further more, the quote he finally provided was DOUBLE the range he had given us on-site, in-person.

I would never, ever trust this company.

The claims in your response are patently false.

1. On timelines: You explicitly told us the best way to get started was to do a quick design process. The design process could only be quick if you and your team moved quickly, which you did not. Every step of the way, you were slow and unresponsive, and we STILL do not have final designs.
2. Further on timelines: After weeks of waiting for designs, only then (yes, AFTER you took our money) did you advise that the timeline of "mid-June", which you originally quoted us, was not possible and we should not have thought it was possible.despite YOU TELLING US it was possible if we started the design process.
3. On the "deposit": To be abundantly clear for any other people who are reading this and thinking they should work with you.we did NOT pay a "deposit". We paid the full amount for design services. Yes, the money was supposed to apply to any other services we purchase from you, but it was the full and complete amount due for design services, not a partial amount, not a "deposit" as you mischaracterize.
4. On revisions: You did advise us that you could make revisions. We requested revisions. In an email to you on May 12, I explicitly stated "Please provide the revisions ASAP. " No revisions were ever provided, to this day.
5. On revisions & timeline: Yes, we were not happy with the long wait times but, to be abundantly clear, these wait times were not "between revisions" because we have yet to receive ANY revisions. This is, again, a flat out lie from you.
6. On your "last correspondence": Today you emailed and said "The design work has been provided. If you'd like more revisions we are happy to do so but the time for our designer is not free unfortunately. " That makes it clear that you will NOT be providing revisions, despite literally saying so in this message and in correspondence with us. Again, another lie. I have no idea where "more" revisions comes from as we have not yet received a single revision.
7. On the refund: I asked for a refund after waiting two weeks for you to reply with revisions or ANY message at all. I emailed you on May 12 originally and followed up asking for a refund on May 26. There were no emails or other communication from you during this period (not in my inbox, spam, or otherwise).

Given that we paid for design services, with revisions, and you are not honouring the terms of our agreement, I honestly don't know how you cannot offer a refund.

I am happy to post timelines, screenshots of emails (along with original headers) of all of our correspondence to prove all of the above.

A true test of character is the action one takes when things don’t go well. When an unplanned staffing issue arose, they worked hard to find a solution and stayed on it until all was complete. The owner even drove a tradesperson to the site to make sure the work would be completed as promised. I'm more than happy with my new deck and awning.

Rob helped me with robe hooks, mailbox installation, TV mounting and etc, the experience was very good, he is professional, clean, and efficient on his job, would recommend him to anyone!
