I really enjoyed my time here even though it was for a short time. I hope I can go back. They have a lot of games. I had noodles and they were so so good. You can add toppings to your noodles. It’s pretty cheap and it’s very cozy. Highly recommend

I ordered a cheese milk tea size large with cream cheese topping! Soooo good! It's like drinking liquid cheese cake!

They don't have much food. It's really just a bubble tea hangout spot like the name suggests.

They have lots of board games. Good selection. I've seen some serious monopoly gamers there! All ages venue.

It's a shame not a lot of people know about this place! They need to step it up on social media!

A super cool spot if you’re looking for some nostalgic games and great bubble tea! We spent around 2 hours here and it was a blast - it was busy but the staff were friendly and doing their best to keep up with a full house. The game selection was pretty good, although mainly ones that are a little older. Still, a very good time and we will be back!

Upon arrival to this location I had been informed by my several of my friends that the owner James was verbally abusive to a female employee and had made negative comments to her about women’s rights after her requesting the day off due to being in pain during her time of the month. Something that no man has any place in saying anything on that in my opinion. Once he had left I also observed a male employee speaking down to her in an aggressive tone and slamming things around behind the counter, all while there was a room full of customers. I do not recommend wasting your money or time on this place given the mistreatment of this youth and they will never see me there again because of this.

The drinks are good. Place includes boardgames. They cost money to use.nice atmosphere! I got brown sugar milk tea with pearls.

Best grass jelly of many places I've tried, but much different in taste, texture, and size. The prices are incredibly reasonable though the food is like, snack food/grocery store food rather than made in house. I love that the tables can be drawn on with chalk. I'll be taking the polycule here for a party date for sure, and generally coming back often.

Cute bubble tea Cafe in the China town area. They have a large variety of drinks and board games. Also, you are free to draw or write on the tables with the provided chalk.

If you want to have a good time with friends and play board games, it's the place to go and their selection of bubbles tea is quite nice.
Prices are also decent.

The concept is great! Come together have bubble tea/shakes etc and play some games. The place itself is located in a busy area. Plenty of space inside for large groups. There is a wall full of games to choose from.

I believe it’s $3.00/person if you want to play any games.

We all got something differently and unfortunately despite asking for less sweet. Our drinks were too sweet that we could not enjoy them. We all ended up tossing it out.

They don’t serve warm beverages only cold.

Taro bubble tea here is fantastic! They have a huge variety of drinks and the interior is very cute.

Best bubble teas in Ottawa/Gatineau. It always tastes good. Good open hours. Great place to hang out with friends and catch up. Compared to other board game places in Ottawa, it is not as noisy so you can have nice chats. It has a good selection of board games but could be better.

We always order to-go, but we’re never disappointed! Looove their taro milkshake with tapioca and passion fruit with tapioca! They’re always so friendly too.

Very nice, chill place to have delicious Bubble tea, some snacks and play a cool board game on a rainy day- this is the spot in Chinatown! Enough room for a big group of friends, to pop over or if you just need a minute as an introvert also.this is a nice spot tucked away!

It's a great place if your looking for cold drinks and snack food while playing games with some friends. Definitely kid friendly so if you want an more adult experience then maybe this isn't the spot for you, but if you don't care and just want to "hangout" Definitely a fun spot.

It's a good time, with a fair selection of alright boba tea. The selection of boardgames, however, was a little lacking. Hopefully they will expand their library of games in the near future.

Called to check if they were open on canada day and said they were. Felt Disappointed as a group of friends arrived to the store closed. Misinformation is not good.

Hangout is such a great spot to meet up with friends and family! They have unique bubble tea flavours, a wide selection of board games, and a lot of seating. Very friendly staff and I love that everything is affordable:)

A must visit bubble tea spot in Ottawa. Definately the best place to go with your friends because they have a lot for seating space and board games. I got the Taro and Mini Eggs smoothie with pearls and it was delicious.new and fun flavour which you can't get anywhere else. Also very friendly staff!

I liked the place better when it opened, the workers are really nice, really kind tho, and the place is nice to hangout. The drinks are just too sweet and lack taste. I could only drink 1/4 of my drink. Im sorry but 15$ for two bubble tea that my girlfriend and I only throw to garbage didn’t sound like a great deal. Maybe take notes on some asian owned bubble tea place. Also, it would also be nice to tell the customers that if they want to play the board games they have to pay before. Not coming to them after they start playing and expect them to pay the fee.

As the name implies, this is a great place to hangout. The bubble tea flavours are fun and the environment is super comfortable, nice and spacious with plenty of games to choose from. There was only one server who was taking orders and making them at the same time, incredibly friendly and great service!

This is my favourite spot for bubble tea. They have non-dairy milk, which is a great touch.

It's nice that they are really trying to make it a "hangout" spot with the addition of board games. However, their collection is pretty limited and outdated, so I always take my order to-go.

The place is nice to hang out, and would be nice especially after covid as they have board games (closed now). Unfortunately, the quality/quantity of dessert/drinks offered is not good. We ordered the oreo milkshake, but it tasted watery as it was made with mostly ice rather than milk or ice cream. We also ordered cheesecake and received a very tiny slice! Our friends got bubble tea and it may have been better.

Decent desserts. Cheesecake is good - not too heavy, not too sweet. We had milkshake and bubble tea, both decent. Except that the tapioca pearls for the bubble tea were hard to chew, we couldn't tell if they were overcooked or undercooked. Music was nice though. Too bad we couldn't use the board games due to the pandemic!

Good bubble tea and fun place to play board games with friends. They have a large variety of games - many I had never seen before - but I would like if they expanded to carry some more popular games. Also their bubble tea was solid but I think the pearls could have better texture!

This place has got it all! From amazing flavours of bubble tea to a wall of classic board games. You will definitely enjoy your time at Hangout. The service is over the top and the place is big. Definitely a go to place when I’m in the mood for bubble tea!
