Great store! Great Staff! Great management! Very friendly and helpful; as the store was closing up, the manager (Brian I think) helped me out with an online order I was picking up. They went out of their way to accommodate me and I really appreciated that.

If you're building a house or anything, this is the place to go. Very helpful staff. If it's a big project, just ask Bob. His experience will help you a long the way. They deliver in a timely manner and ensure that you are satisfied. Highly recommend.

These guys are always happy and cheerful. They greet you and meet your needs. They always have the items you want, and if you have something you need, but they don't have, they will order it in for you. The guys in the yard / stock building are great, always have a good chat and load you up quickly. I recommend this place. The only thing I wish is that the webpage displayed current lumber etc pricing. Come see them, they will make your day.

Multiple staff walking around no mask. Walked out. Not people with no mask. They had masks on but were wearing them around the chin. Not a medical exemption. From the response from management here it is obvious they are anti maskers.

Honestly, Home Hardware definitely has a thing going for awesome service, with knowledgeable staff. Here in Hanover and also in Barrie. I had to write about my experience this week. I went in to get some screws to fix a boat trailer. The staff member helped me find what I was looking for. I was just getting to the cash register and he ran over to me, a bit out of breath and said, "I was thinking after you left, if it is for a boat trailer you may want galvanized screws" and handed me the better type of screw. Then a day later, when I realized MY error of buying screws that were too long for the job, they happily returned (even without a receipt) and helped me get the right ones. Always has been excellent customer service at this store. Well done.

Inventory is not accurate. Asked for help for something that was listed as one in stock, was told "if we have it, it's in isle 12". They didn't have it and drove out of my way for the item.

An excellent Home Hardware. Seems always clean and reasonably well organized. Help from one of the knowledgeable staff is always appreciated.

This home hardware is the worst to deal with during this pandemic. Order online, pay online, get emails saying it’s ready and then you still wait in a ridiculous line outside with everyone who hasn’t ordered or paid yet. Other home hardware stores in the area have a much better process.

Placed and paid for a large lumber order for delivery 2 weeks ago and scheduled for today and it never arrived. The owner, upon hearing this, called and was quite easy to talk to. We are hopeful that it arrives tomorrow.

Did not call in my order and could not name what I wanted but gave an explanation and got what I wanted. The young man working carried my big water bottle to my truck.

Love the store and staff but they need to clean up the grass area by the road. Garbage has blown all over from their yard. They need to help set the example as does every company.

They have to find a better way way to deal with customers outside.they should have 1 person taking the order and a few people gathering the order to make it go quicker

Worst customer service experience today. The sale person didn't let me in to get water due to shutting down early as before 3: 54 PM.

I put an order in for an appliance that was not in the store. Folks at customer service desk were friendly and helpful. Got a call only 2 days later that my order was in. Fast and efficient.
The store is full of great and necessary gear, hardware, household items, and building supplies. This time of year also some Christmas gifts and decorations.
I felt that the staff also took the social distancing and CoVid protocol seriously.

Staff is great! But the american lumber they are getting is horrible! It looks like ruff cut lumber that hasnt been graded! Im really why is a canadian store getting there 2x4s from the states and such poorly made ones?

Brought screens in and they lost them. Talk to management and they tell me that I must of lost them. Not sure how to replace my screens now. Not a great way to treat a customer.
