Visiting from out of town can’t wait to come back already.

Every one of us loved our meals and the service was exceptional. I contacted the restaurant ahead of time about my dietary restrictions and when we got there our waiter was well-informed about what I would be able to eat. Thank you for such a wonderful experience Hapa Izakaya!

Went here yesterday before a show at the royal (which is literally 2 steps away). We came during happy hour which was a nice surprise lol the food was fantastic and the mocktail I got was so good as well. I forgot to ask the server’s name but she was a gorgeous lady with black hair (I hope that helps lol) who gave us a truly a fabulous experience

Waitress did a good job.
Food is rather mediocre.
My salmon meal was full of teriyaki sauce, which I hate, and it's not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Also, my salmon piece was about half of the advertised 6oz. Portion is very small (mostly rice). $26.50 and I'm still hungry

This is my favourite Japanese bar in the GTA and I have been to all. Food quality to price the atmosphere is bumping and the dj is great. Karaoke nights on thursdays are lit. All the servers are wonderful, and the managers Steven and Sy go out of their way to make sure your experience is above expectations.

Place was fire, music was fire, food was fire. Also, great service and great vibes. I WILL most definitely return. Mac n cheese was absolutely delicious and karaage chicken is to die for. Eat here!

Never heard of this place until today. 10/10 recommendation from a friend - the firecracker rolls were AMAZING. The Yuzu Fizz creeps up on you. Solid spot!

Jade is the best! The food was so good I’m going to dream about it. Get the Salmon abburri it’s FIRE all of it was AMAZEBALLS!

It's a vibe. If you're looking for a really really loud place with extremely expensive food, you've found it

Great atmosphere, very good service and the food is amazing. Prices are ok. A very good option to have a good time with great food and drinks.

Delicious food, truly friendly staff, and very chill environment! Highly recommend to attend with a date or friends! (There's a bit of variety for everyone!) Special happy hour between 5pm-7pm!

My cousin told me about this event. I prepared many moons
for the Halloween costume contest and I can tell you now… this was the biggest letdown, thank you Canada. In the words of Donald Trump, this contest was rigged.

Incredible food and atmosphere. Definitely exceeded expectations and our waitress was incredible! Must tries: wagyu sushi, pork belly wraps, friend chicken.

Food was amazing (we got the dish that comes in the hot rice bowl, pork belly lettuce wraps, and a whole bunch of other dishes to share) and the service was fantastic. Drinks were great too

Loved the vibe, great service the entire time we were there, and presentation was fantastic - wagyu sushi and firecracker rolls, seared at the table were delightful.

Fantastic service, and a great vibe. Raina is excellent, and she took care of us by recommending fantastic sake, and being very communicative to their very slow kitchen at the time.

Unfortunately, the sushi is atrocious. Please see the attached photo of the "volcano roll" for 22$. We were so hungry, we ate anything we could get. (Raina generously comped this dish for us).

This is a great place to have drinks. The staff is very friendly, music is cool, and the vibe is great, but I would never eat here again.

Always ask Amy to serve you she is the best and Steven he the most fun person to be around.

I've been imbibing at Hapa for over a decade. A1 service, drinks, and food, everytime.

Good food, Good ambiance and friendly staff this place is highly recommended I’ll definitely comeback here again and also recommend this place to my friends
