Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Mississauga 快乐小羊

One of the waitresses that is tall and having curly hair is rude. They’re disorganized that we ordered one round of the food but is completely forgotten and we need to order again and it’s time wasting because they need to cut their meat and took a while. The smell of the hotpot is so staying on the clothes and is disgusting afterwards. The quality of the food is okay though.

I consider my opinion changed about this hot pot place.

They went from order off a menu to a buffet style where you can get what you want from the stations themselves. Very nice, food quality has improved and service has improved as well.they also offer complimentary cold drinks like plum juice, fountain sodas and orange juice now.

I can't get enough of the Happy Lamb Hot Pot experience. The thinly sliced lamb is my favorite, and the service is consistently excellent. It's a must-visit spot

Today was my first time dining here since they’ve renovated and I’m not sure if there was a change in management, but it’s not as good as before the renovations. I had last came in the summer and would come every few months. This was my favourite hot pot place because the broth was to die for, I would never use any dipping sauces because the broth was so amazing. I don’t know what happened now, I was so disappointed that the broth had no flavour today, I don’t really see a point in coming back and now I have to find a new hot pot place: ’ (

Food is fresh, lots of options. Great ambience in the restaurant, good for hanging out with friends. But not worth almost $40 per person when you are someone like me who only have the appetite to explore less than a quarter of the options. And the broth does get saltier and saltier over time to the degree of ocean water like the other reviews have mentioned.

There is a lot of soy milk, and it can be continued continuously. There are not many conscientious merchants at this price

My go to hot pot place. Lots of variety in the menu options and broths. The wait can be long if you come for dinner on a weekend so just be prepared for that.

Good place for hot pot. Good ambience, decent selection of meats and veggies, ingredients are fresh, service is ok. We got the half and half broth (half spicy half non spicy). The spicy one was well spicy and flavorful, the other one for some reason tasted bitter. The hand made noodles were great too. Weekend dinner pricing us 24 Bucks which is fair. Lunches are a few bucks less.

We originally came to this place because it was "Whole30" approved. The selection of ingredients is very large and it is very unlikely that someone wouldn't find a handful of items they like. The flavouring table is full of things to make your broth tastier or make dipping sauces. 2 key things when eating here: ask for the ladle with the holes and the ladle without. We learned that people don't usually drink the broth but it's so flavourful, how could you not? Make sure to not wear anything nice here as it will retain the smell of curry and may get splashed on.

Place is nice and spacious, its an all you can eat hot pot place. You cook assorted meats and vegetables in broth and can dip it in a custom made sauce or just eat it by itself.

Great selection and the option of individual hot pots is nice but be prepared to fork out an extra surcharge for meals on the weekend. The clear broth had a tad too much MSG for me.

Great food selection, attentive staffs, good drinks-. I been to every little sheeps Mongolian hotpot restaurant from the state to Canada (east coast) - by far this is the best spot. Gosh. I’m not even finish eat here while write this review

Food came out with freezer burns. Staff were friendly but not that great of an experience.

With the amount of salt in the broth you will be thirsty for days.

Meats were good

Amazing culinary experience. Great for social outings or if your just looking for a hearty hot meal. Excellent customer service, and delicious food. Beefs were amazing paired with a spicy hot pot.some items were frozen and took a while to cook like the dumplings; but otherwise most meats and noodles were perfect. The deep fried buns were a nice delicious desert to end the meal. Will be coming back for more an reccommending to others.

This little gem is on a main road in Mississauga. There are a few all you can eat options in the area and this one shines. The broth is rich and hearty. There are many menu options and something for everyone. Will come back.

Hi went 1 st time a party with my friends and the place is ok but customer service is disgusting 15 min waiting for the waiter and he doesn’t know what I’m asking and vegan o veggie ppl be advise the soup is chicken no veggie so they have millions of veggie but no veggie both be careful be pay 27 dollar and don’t make any sense to come again I will not go again

I've visited this location a few times and have never been disappointed. Great amount of choices to select from, my favourite being the lamb. You can order 3 rounds so you will get your money's worth and the staff do not hurry you in any way.

Where I find they lack is the dessert department and sometimes staff can forget a couple items and you have to remind them a few times for it. I would recommend going for dinner no later than 5pm as 6pm the wait can get extremely long.

Great food and everything tastes amazing. Service is pretty lacklustre, we've been waiting on nearly everything. Maybe it's just an understaffed day? Also they can't put tables together to accommodate parties greater than 6

Love this place, but customer service can be a little better. I feel as though I have to beg them to assist me every time.

My girlfriend went in here for her first time and she adored the food, still does, however the staff on the other hand was really 50/50. I have the evidence to prove it but since it's her phone number I'd rather not provide it on the information. She went in today with her friend, for a second time, and on their way to pay she was forced to tip. This wasn't just any means of forcing, they were threatened to force tip. In her own words she stated to me, "You cannot leave unless you tip". Last I checked, although serving is a hard job, the customer has the freedom of choice whether to tip or not and is not enforced by any law or any restaurant that you should. Secondly, her friend was foreign and thus didn't know much English. The server then stated to her that her friend needed to pay 30$ in tip to compensate for being a foreign person. Not only are they law breaking, but they're adding their own personal bias into the customer/server relationship. Honestly, the food itself is great and that's what earned them the 3 stars, I would put it to 2 but I'm really lenient today so I gave them another star for their effort. However, whoever this server was should be taken into account the intolerable action they imposed on not only my girlfriend but also her friend. They underwent racist harassment and was threatened to stay because they did not tip. If the company/head owner would like to talk to me about this intervention, you could reply back to this review and I will show you the evidence blurring out the number and the name of what went on today with her friend and will even bring both of them to come in contact with you if need be. If you ever do eat here, eat with some concern. The food might be great but the customer service is by far the worse I've ever heard and she's ever had to deal with.

Love the spicy broth and cheap pitchers of beer. The buffet is reasonably priced. Great place to eat till you can't move.

I've been here on more than one occasion and I have to say I've been pretty disappointed every time. The service is absolutely lacking and is awful! Upon walking into the restaurant I was not greeted, I stood there waiting to be seated while in queue behind another group. We stood there for literally more than 15 minutes while the servers walked by multiple times without even acknowledging us. Tables were left uncleaned after the customers left. I then walked up the the cashier desk and asked them how much longer would the wait be in which I got ignored until the girl was done doing whatever she was doing and said she wasn't sure, a guy comes over and asked me where in line was I waiting and I told him my group and I were 2nd in line and there is a group in front of us who has been here for who knows how long. After I got their attention they then proceeded to seat the group in front of us but we still waited another 10 minutes for them to clean a table for us. We told them we were a party of 7 and wanted at least one pot per person and was told okay. We waited and waited until I saw that the table they were going to seat us at only had 3 stoves. Other times before they would bring the wrong items or was missing items. Took so long to bring the stuff out to us as if they're trying to stall time for us to get full so they wouldn't have to bring out anymore. I will never come back here.

Very very tastey, pleasant and prompt service. All the Italians were fresh and the broth/hotpot was very flavorful. We did 2 rounds. 3 rounds would be to much in my opinion and most people will be satisfied with just one round. Great value, and original spices not found easily.

Excellent and fast service combined with the best hot pot base I've had in Canada. Head and shoulders above other hot pot places in terms of taste. The prices are very reasonable considering all this. Large location with lots of seating in a bright and airy setting. This is important because it can feel a bit claustrophobic in small spaces with all the hot pot steam. You'll likely smell like hotpot the whole day after none the less!

The food is delicious. All the bits and pieces get cooked in the bubbling spicy broth. You can get a communal pot or individual ones depending on how spicy you like your broth. Definitely get the napa cabbage, the pork belly, the quail's eggs and the fried tofu.
