Great location for game nights at Scotiabank Arena. Service is great and quick to ensure you make puck drop. Food is good. Baked Alaska is AMAZING! Overall, I’d recommend.
Great experience, excellent food and service. I didn't really enjoy that the restaurant smelt like alcohol the entire time. Something one can't really control, but given the narrow space provided, it felt a tad bit crammed also. Still a great place for food!
For a high end restaurant and a steakhouse we were served the absolute worst cut of steak we have ever experienced. The only thing worse was the indifference of the server. We were not check in and our drinks were not attended to. It was a week night and not very busy so there should not been a reason for the poor service and the even worse food. Bill was nearly $400. Incredibly overpriced for the food and service. Spend your money wisely. This is not it! Wish I would have read David Weis’s review prior to our visit. He is spot on.
It's not like it used to be. Seafood pasta had little seafood and very bland. Read other reviews they said the exact same think, bland. Crabcakes just OK, side of Brussel sprouts I guess put on grill were burnt, side of mushrooms were just tiny little ones, they used to be big, not the same as it used to be. My $50 glass of wine was good. Good service
Date - Friday night, for two Seating Time - 9PM - 11: 30 (mains took an excruciatingly long time to come out)
Food Shrimp Cocktail - 48$ for 3 large shrimps that were very cold and overcooked resulting in a tough rubbery texture Oysters - 40$ for 6 tiny Malpeque oysters is not worth it Short Rib - 60? This was actually quite flavourful and tasty, though the meat was a bit dry Bone In Rib Eye - 140$ for relatively large steak, was very underseasoned and we ordered medium, but it leaned rare - there's no way the internal temperature was 140F. The fat marbling was extremely poor, I feel as if I've purchased better quality steaks from Costco. Highly disappointed for the price. Deshelled Lobster - 125$ - honestly it was just a steamed lobster for an extremely high price tag. Coconut Cream Pie - 20$ - this was actually delicious. Would recommend - great textures and flavours.
Service - excellent service from our waitress, no complaints there.
Ambience/Vibe - were seated in an enclosed outdoor tent, with two screens showing the baseball game. Not very romantic or upscale - I feel like you'd have a better time at Jacobs, Canoe, or Hy if you're looking for a steakhouse. In total - bill came out to close to 350$, and it definitely didn't taste like it.
Overall - I was very disappointed by my experience and expected more from such a renowned establishment and such a hefty price point. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.
Great night all around between wine, appetizers and dinner. If you’re lucky you’ll have Ana provide the best service. Her personality and exceptional service made our night memorable. Highly recommend!
I personally think this place is over hyped and over priced for the food we received. Our bill for two people came to $400 for 3 drinks, two dinners, two appetizers and 3 sides. I feel like the quality and flavour is same level as the Keg but much cheaper. Staff was Friends and drinks were great.
Food is mediocre, price was astronomical. The steak (bone in ribeye) was under seasoned and underwhelming. Scallops were over seasoned. Shrimp was overcooked and tough. Oysters were miniscule. Short rib was tasty. The best main was the plain steamed lobster. Dessert was surprisingly delicious (coconut pie) after a generally otherwise unimpressive dinner. Definitely have had many better steaks and food in general in Toronto.
I had a horrible experience, I ordered a bottle of wine and I’m not one to complain, but as soon as I had a sip it was sour that I could not bare to drink it. I brought this to the mangers attention right away and he rudely responded with the fact that he can not keep opening bottles until my desired taste. In no sense did i do so, or mean for him to do that. But I kindly asked if he can change it, I come to a restaurant to have a good experience, I don’t want to force myself to have wine that has gone bad, as I am sure many don’t. I simply didn’t want to dine in after and walked out the unwelcoming response. This is not how a manger should run such a high class place, and I’m extremely disappointed and feel discriminated as well.
Been here twice and coming back soon for my husband's birthday. Great place for a special occasion! It's not cheap and some things are over priced. Food and drinks are great. The food portions are huge, we always over order - I'd recommend coming with a few people and doing family style. Only negative thing is that I wish the hostesses and whoever answers the phone would be nicer - they don't have the best and warmest attitude (which unfortunately gives you a negative vibe as soon as you come in or call to make a reservation) but the servers are nice at least.oh and you must try the s'mores for dessert! Skip on the caesar salad.
The food was pretty good and our server was great but unfortunately it seems like something got lost in translation and although we were there to celebrate my birthday and our engagement, there was zero acknowledgement by our server. The ladies at the hostess stand said congratulations and that was it.no dessert, nothing special which was a little disappointing given how big of a day it was and that I had specifically chosen this restaurant to celebrate the occasion. For this price point I definitely would've expected them to go the extra mile to help us celebrate.
I called in the make a reservation but due to the Covid protocol reason I had to cancel it, person who picked up the phone wasn’t very nice while canceling the reservation, and she hung up the phone impolitely.
If your looking to go all out, this is the place. Food was amazing. Our server was very accommodating and vocal. He accidentally added a dish to our table that we didn't order and he said it was on the hows. Our dessert was also on the house
Wasn't overly impressed with the quality of food or the atmosphere.
Food: Scallops were overwhelmed by the various ingredients on the dish, and generally speaking the dish was too oily and salty. There were parts of my Japanese waygu beef that I couldn't eat because it too gristly, and frankly I should be able to eat every part of my $250 steak. The main flavour in their truffle mac and cheese was garlic. However both the peppercorn au jus and the brussels sprouts were very very good.
Service: Was okay, despite the fact that my blazer fell on the floor without me noticing and not one of the number of servers walking by thought to pick it up or let me know.
Atmosphere: R&B music was playing the whole time, and I thought it didn't create an attractive atmosphere. Overall seemed a bit tacky.
Honestly, if you're going to spend $600+ on dinner, you're better off going to Jacobs, Canoe, Carisma, or Mortons. Personally speaking, couldn't wait to leave and won't be going back.
We had booked thru Amex Representative that personally handles our son’s credit accounts. We had a lovely Friday evening celebrating my Birthday n our Anniversary. Upon arrival we had staff members take care of our vehicle valet parking. We were greeted at the front desk with courteous manners. Staff member escorted us to our reserved booth. Tom the head waiter together with two more wait staff provided the most Amazing n friendly top notch service. We were given time to decide for our meals Tom suggested the daily specials. Excellent steaks n lamb chops, burger/fish plate. We were very impressed and definitely will go back with our friends n extended families. Desserts are to die for. Kudos to Tom n staff, and owners.
Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday. Was super excited, dinner started well, the wine sommelier was fantastic and helped us choose a delicious bottle of wine. Ordered a bunch of food, everything was seemingly going well. Service was okay nothing spectacular but not terrible. Just before dessert, Went to confirm with the hostess that they'll be bringing out a happy bday message dessert and they confirmed its written as a note when I placed my reso, perfect. Guess what? Ordered dessert and no birthday msg, still trying to surprise him I make another excuse to leave the table, so I went back to the hostess and she was like let me confirm with the server. Confirmed they missed it even after I had to double check with them. Meanwhile awkwardly seeing two other tables with a birthday dessert go by. It's the little things and attention to detail you just expect coming from a restaurant like this. Instead they were careless and meh.
Honestly, the most over rated place I've ever been. Went for my birthday dinner because of the good reviews. The 4 of us ordered tonnes of food, and none of us ate more than a few bites. After spending 550.00, we all agreed we would have been happier with McDonald's. Steak was mostly tasteless, calamari was rubbery, mac n cheese & twice baked potatoes had a terrible after taste, lobster was mediocre at best. I could go on and on. I do not recommend, completely killed my night.
Food was excellent.that new York strip was cooked perfectly as I like it med well. The dessert "baked Alaska for two" should be "baked Alaska for 4" lol. Had the white truffle mac and cheese wasn't y fav but still good
The atmosphere and the environment was the best out of everything. The food was just okay in my opinion have had better at cheaper restaurants certain menu items are overpriced especially shots and not worth it.
I wish I could give 0, the worst $85 fillet mignon you could ask for! Burnt, dry and nothing on the side, it doesn't even look like it.worst food presentation! And when we asked the waitress she was so confident about the food and said none will come with the side! Not even said sorry if you don't like the food. She was more like it is what it is!
They even charged us for water! What's special about this overrated, overpriced place honestly?
To start off, the restaurant was beautiful and amazing. Deepak, my server that, I suppose, is how you spell his name was very attentive and did make some very good suggestions on the food.
The wagyu steak, on the other hand, was bland in comparison to the wagyu I had at Blueblood. I'd say it's a little expensive for what it's worth.
Furthermore, despite being double vaccinated, I somehow managed to catch covid from here. I wish the restaurant had contacted me instead of hearing about their covid outbreak through the news.
My overall impression of this place was pleasant. I would return when the pandemic is over or when I feel comfortable to dine in again.
We had an amazing experience at Harbour 60. This restaurant is definitely. The restaurant has a beautiful patio set up. It did not feel or look like you were downtown. Very comfortable. The food was delicious and service was awesome!
