Amazing experience here at Harper’s Burger Bar. Food was incredible. Service was top notch and the environment is fantastic. Friend got the waffle burger, and it was amazing. Also a bourbon milkshake. Great as well. Recommend if you’re stopping through Kingston! Kristine is awesome!

Food is not bad. If you go in for a great burger, that's what you'll get, but it's not the best you've ever had. Prices are too high for what it is.

Loved the wide options of burgers especially for vegetarians! There are choices in breads and patties from which one can choose from including the vegan patties. Also, there are varied variety of drinks ranging from milkshakes to hard and soft drinks.
The sweet potato fries were too soft and crisp whereas the waffle fries were unique as well. Definitely a must try place for burgers.

Burgers were greasy so napkins are certainly needed. Taste not bad, but nothing outstanding. The booths were pretty tight fitting. I will say the service was fast and the staff was very friendly.

I've never been here before. I ordered a goat cheese burger with the lettuce bun and a Ceasar salad (Keto diet) they definitely have alot of options including gluten free/keto. I really enjoyed my meal and the service was beyond amazing. Well done guys- I will be back again

We loved the burgers especially with the crispy onions? Fries were great and I lived the coleslaw salad too.

I had the mushroom Swiss burger. Oh was it good! Also, had the simple dog and she was happy with it as well. It's pricey ($18 for a burger and a side, $14 for the dog) but it's a nice treat for a good quality and nice atmosphere. I had a white freezie (alcohol drink) and it was delicious! Cocktails are also expensive at $12 each, but I nice option to go with your meal. Servers are friendly and provide great service for this cute burger bar.

This is the third time we have been.my girlfriend and I have made it a tradition every year to drive from Oshawa 2 1/2hrs just to have a great meal.this time we brought a friend along.and again you guys have knocked it out of the park.great food great service and friendly staff.keep up the great work.see you next year.

My original rating was going to be a lowly 1-star, as on the day of our visit, we had hoped to grab an early meal before our boat tour, but that was not to be. We waited, and waited, and waited, only to flag down our server who assured my mother of 81 years, 'Don't worry HUN, you'll make your boat ride. ' This was highly insulting, condescending and definitely NOT the way a 20 something should talk to an elder. We almost got up and left at that point. Managers, please talk to your staff about RESPECT! A few minutes later, said server, came back with her tail between her legs, saying the order had not been placed and we would have an additional 20 minute wait; it had already been almost 30 min. We were assured we would still make the boat ride in plenty of time and the manager offered to give us the whole meal on the house. The food was delicious, (we had the veggie burgers), and we left a generous tip, despite the inconvenience and the uncalled for 'attitude' of the server. Loved the food, and much appreciated that the manager did the right thing. Servers, please work on your customer service and treat elders with the dignity they deserve, one day you'll be one too!

This burger joint is amazing one of the best burgers I had in a while everything was fresh and cooked well.
Tasted amazing, the service was veary nice & polite they also cleaned every thing, was nice to see. I did the much box special but they have a make your own burger are veary reasonable prices for what you get, would 100% recommend.

This place made a 10/10 burger… on a gluten-free bun. So impressed I had to leave this review before I left the restaurant. I had a Greek salad on the side and it was exceptional. They could easily charge double for it and I’d pay. Quality ingredients. So happy we felt like burgers tonight!

1st time August the 19th. Deeply regret going there. I got it to go because of my medical condition with no mask. It was my birthday so I talked everyone into it. We got the family meal deal and they missed the condiments.
There was nothing really fancy about it at all. Just another Burger joint and there are so many to choose from at a more reasonable price.
Save your $ and go elsewhere!

I had seen this place in a TV show “you gotta eat here”. I agree with show name. We were party of 6 and every one ordered different burgers and all burgers were good. I like the sides of gourmet fries and onion rings. Overall a good place to eat when in Kingston.

Everything was so delicious. I love it when a restaurant has waffle fries on the menu. Service was great and our server was super friendly.

Bulleye and la la land burger was on point. I liked how you're able to order a burger and have the option of which protein/vegetarian patty.

Poutine was also yummy

The food was great. They put all the toppings and sauce on the side so you can choose what you want. The gravy was better than most places. We were all quite full and there were no complaints! Excellent service- we will be back again! We will definitely order take out or dine in again.

Ordered four burgers for take out on Canada Day and all beef patties were burnt. The waffle fries were also greasy. Overpriced for what we got. Not worth your money, effort or time.

I'm hoping that after this the manager/owner will actually call me back. My mom and I picked up lunch from Harpers last week. 2 burgers, 2 sides, 2 bottles of sparkling water. My mom brought it out and we went to a nearby park to eat - it was only then we discovered the bottles of water were not twist caps and we didn't have a bottle opener. We went back to Harpers to let them know we couldn't open the bottles to enjoy with our lunch and I requested a refund. The lady claiming to be the supervisor said they couldn't take it back and offer a refund because of the pandemic. I let her know, again, the bottles were not tampered with as we could not open it and she saw that. She also wouldn't open them for us as if they were infected with the virus. So can't return it, can't open it. Whats the point? I was so upset that I left the bottles on the counter and she said would have the owner call me. I left my name and phone number. No call back. I called again yesterday or the day before and spoke to another woman who claimed she didn't know what I was talking about but she would forward the message to the owner who was out getting his vaccination. She took my contact information again and guess what? NO CALL BACK. So can I get 2 opened overpriced bottles of sparkling water or my money back? ! I've eaten here a few times and the food is good but WOW.what kind of customer service is this?

The meat was well seasoned, juicy and had those nice crispy bits around the edges. It's everything you could want in a burger. Their fries are equally good. You can custom make your own burger so there's a multitude of choices to make your ideal burger come to fruition. Service was prompt and food came out pretty quickly.

Ordered for delivery only to have the order cancelled over one hour later with no explanation. Phone calls have gone unanswered. Not what we expected given the stellar reviews thus far.

Just had takeout. All the food was great as usual. I come all the way from Hamilton once and a while and have to stop in to have a burger here. Super clean. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

As always, Harper's is amazing! Staff is always so great. And the food is brilliant.best burgers in town by a country mile. And I think that's really saying something.

Every time I've eaten at Harper's it's always been a hit. This time however it was a miss. Both my boyfriend's and my hamburger were undercooked - it was pink all throughout the burger. We let our server know and they kindly remade our burgers. We ordered the La la land burger, but our burger was super messy. It was drenched avocado and goat cheese and the roasted pepper juice just made everything drip out like crazy. I'm all for finger food, but this was ridiculously messy - it just wasn't what like I'm used to getting when I order that burger. Unfortunately we don't think we will be going back.

The service here was great and the burgers are phenomenal. I didn't even know panko coated onion rings were a thing but it's the best!

We ordered two burgers for lunch. Good taste, decent service. But I found it a little expensive. But definitely worth a try!

I was very disappointed with my order. I have been to Harper's many times and have never had anything like this. The patties were super dry, and way over cooked. There were no veggies served with either of the 2 burgers we ordered. One burger was missing cheese. One was missing mayo. On the smokehouse burger they substituted cheap hickory stick chips in place of the crispy onion straws it was supposed to be served with. Both orders of fries, one waffle and one "gourmet", were both very stale. Super disappointing considering the prices.

Our burgers were hot, juicy and promptly served. The quality of the beef is worth the price. The restaurant puts a special effort to give everyone safe and enjoyable dining experience.

Very nice burger. I got it as takeout so I can't comment on table service, but folks were very helpful and friendly at pickup.

Great service and great burgers. You can get lots of options from different buns to different patties and of course dozens of topping options.

Personally, much better than The Works (which is very good). Lots of variety and fresh ingredients. They had no problem serving a delicious burger and fixings on a bed of lettuce. Thank you. Awesome service, great food, was stuffed beyond. Waitress was great being new to area gave us suggestions what to do while down here. Gave us a brownie to go for our 15th anniversary. Located right downtown but worth the aggravation to find parking. Suggest to eat here!

Excellent service and food. The make your own burger is a spectacular addition to the rest of the well rounded menu (something for everyone).
The washrooms could use a little extra deep clean, but altogether well maintained.
Parking garage very close by.

What a great eatery with a tasty twist! The staff was not only quick to seat and serve, but also very friendly and polite! The food was made with great care and quality in mind, i defineatly will come back and i strongly reccomend you do too!

Best burger I have had. This burger would stand on it's own without a bun or toppings. Service was friendly and attentive and the menu is varied enough for all appetites.

Cute little lunch/dinner place. Great menu to cover anyone's picky palates.meatatarians, vegetarians, vegans. The chickpea burger was very filling and tasty. My friends enjoyed the beef burger and buttermilk chicken sandwich. Great selection of toppings and sides.

Really enjoyed the beyond burger here:) it's my favourite plant-based burger so I'm super happy they carry it. The sweet potato fries were also delicious ️
