I dropped in to Home Hardware on Adelaide St very early this morning (March 14.23) to purchases floor cleaner. There were two staff members at the front of the store and both of them assisted me immediately and thoroughly. They explained different products to me and researched some of them on-line as well. One couldn't ask for better service IMO. Thank You to both ladies - it was such a pleasure to shop with you, especially in this day and age of little service and self-check-out.

Always well. Have a small selection from everything that you can need. Staff is always friendly and extremely helpful.

This is my local hardware store and I really appreciate that it exists. Sure there are big box stores nearby as well but you can't beat this place for friendly service and willingness to go the extra mile. Highly recommended.

Don’t follow Scanning Code of Practice, which is definitely good for them since 2 of the 4 items I purchased came up as the incorrect price.

Such a better shopping experience than the usual big-box retailers. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly available and offering to help. It is a cozy but well stocked space and much easier to manage for my mother who uses a walker to get around. Highly recommend you bypass big-box and head here.

Staff waiting to help. Got exactly what I needed. From the well stocked bins of nuts and bolts. Only have to buy what you need rather than bags of each. The store always has the things you need for jobs around the house or office. A pleasure. A real nice convenient store, easy in easy out.

Very good store, bought many stuff from there, always get best customer service. Good variety. Fully recommended.

This is my hardware store.l have found what l needed every time. Also a great place for gifts. I like the smaller store feel and great personal service.

My laundry faucet handles are the only ones without their own shutoff.but they were dripping badly.so l shut off the entire house and unscrewed them from the faucet fixture and wheeled to this store.they had to get it right else l dont have water pressure. Harris Hardware came thru again right the first time.the clerk didnt let me go until the correct and vital nylon washers were replaced.l wish all my household repairs were made this easy.

Nice to go to a Hardware store where "Everyone" knows products and what to recommend based on what you need. Won't find this in a big box store. Kevin helped me out with deck stain and after trying two I found the right one. They exchanged the open cans with no issues. Definitely my goto store for getting this old house back up and running.

As a small business, we understand the challenges of curb side pick up. However, as I watch 4 staff members standing in the check out area waiting to clock out, I wonder why I cannot buy a can of marking paint.

Very disappointed in the lack of motivation to help customers.

They would not accept my gift card. I will be contacting head office to complain about your store for this matter. Completely unacceptable

Pick up was easy, however.staff was really not nice, answered the phone with an attitude and then literally just grunted when we said thank you for bringing the order out.

Nice to be back at the store.restricting how many people are allowed in and covid protocols are being followed. Staff friendly and helpful. Some areas are pretty narrow to walk in with a lot of items in the way

Absolutely love this place! They are so helpful and responsive, and saved us several times during lockdown when the big stores wouldn't. It's refreshing to be seen as a person and not just a sale. I have fully switched to Harris Home Hardware now. Loyal fan!

Requires up to two business days for staff to pick a one item order under new lockdown in Ontario.

Website noted that store was open for curbside pickup. At the store I called in to learn that no "walk up" orders were allowed, staff noted that they would call me when it was ready (up to two business days), and that them picking the order while I waited in my car was "against the law". I can't find any reference to this in the new guidelines, but maybe I haven't looked hard enough.

I will have to go back twice now to pick up the order. I want to support local business, but two days to pick one item is making Amazon look pretty attractive.

Call in, email, or order online, and be prepared to wait if you need something.

WORST MOST UNORGANIZED RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL LAZY ARROGANT and UNPLEASANT staff I have ever encountered. Only shop here if you want to be treated like a pos. Great work over there, you all should be proud of yourselves. Sometimes people just wanted to be treated like a human being.

Visited this store today, the personnel in the store were very unkind, rude, impolite. There are many stores around with kind and patient personnel where you can buy stuff you need. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. I will never ever step in again. If I can i would give zero stars.

I was walking through the plaza one night n a man was walking too close to me and being very inappropriate.
There was a tall home hardware employee in front of the store so I walked up to him n told him, “this man is making me feel uncomfortable.can you please watch to make sure I make it to my gate safely “
“Of course! ” he replied and stood at the end of the sidewalk while I made my way through the dark parking lot to the gate of my coop,
The creepy guy went the other way when he seen the burly home hardware guy was protecting me.
I found out later the employees name was Dillon Kok, and hes the sweetest, kindest, most helpful employee at Home Hardware.
I couldn’t thank him enough that night

I had two products I was interested in purchasing. I had a minute and a half wait outside due to capacity restrictions. When I was able to enter I was welcomed and reminded to distance. I disinfected my hands and was promptly welcomed by an employee who took me to the area of the first item. He showed me the options and when there were only two of the four clamps available he removed two from a packaged unit. Viola.happy customer. Then he took me to where I could find the second item, made recommendations and again, happy customer. I wish I had gotten his name so the kudo's could be given.

Way better then the big box stores. There's always someone ready to help or if it's busy you won't have wait long to get a staff member to help you. If that person doesn't have the answer somebody else will. Only thing that may happen on occasion is they don't have what you need, but are quick to see if it can be ordered in.

I've been going to this store for 20 years. This family not only knows what they are doing, but they care. LARGE. And from dad to the kids to momma; I can't imagine going to a box store when I can get everything I want at Harris Home Hardware. Oh yeah, Advice? Intelligence? Smartest people going. Forget those American chains. Stores like this are the real deal.

Came here after a negative experience at another Home Hardware. They had exactly what I was looking for and everyone was friendly and polite. Contacted Ivan before I went and he wasn't even working but looked it up and assured me they had plenty in stock. Thanks Ivan.

Stay was friendly and helped me find everything I needed. They were following safety procedures, and the store wasn't overly busy.

Trying to shop local and had a friendly employee serve me. As I was trying to follow the covid rules one of their other employees was extremely rude to me and told me if I was that concerned I shouldn't be in their store. I will never go back there again

Fantastic place! I went to get some glass cut for a terrarium top and they did an awesome job! I bought some other products and when I realized I had bought the wrong stuff and they didn't have it, they called the Dundas location and placed it on hold for me. Amazing guys over there! I will be back for sure!

I recently had a couple projects to do and Rick at Home Hardware assisted me with all my tool and material needs. A super friendly character to talk to as well with great customer service skills.

Looking for a sale item only at 2 Home Hardwares in the city - Called them (as suggested by Tuckey HH who sold out) they had it and held it for me! I found some other items for christmas presents so it was a fruitful trip.

We've dealt with Harris Home Hardware, for many years. They're the place to go, if you want a key cut (right, the first time)! If you order your items and pay for them online from the Home Hardware website (or call/email them in to the store), they will let you know when everything is ready for pick-up. During the pandemic, they have been exemplary. Thank you Harris Home Hardware, for going above and beyond - my garden got planted this year, thanks to your home delivery service!

AMAZING. For a hardware store the really make u feel welcomed! Immediately helped wen I couldn't find what I was looking for.the guy went out of his way 2 assist me. & When cashing out the cashier noticed I had 5 medium size brackets & 1 small.so she asked if this was correct (obviously i messed up) i said "oh s**t no it's not thank you for noticing". Long story short she knew I messed up but wanted 2 make sure.she saved me a 30min car ride if I had 2 exchange it. Great staff & customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Gave us all the info on different bbq to compare. Bbq was assembled and delivered free of charge. Awesome. Always someone willing to assist you in the store. Being close to our home it is handy.

The staff at Harris Home Hardware are great on a regular day, but I just wanted to say how awesome they’ve been during the shutdown. Everyone there is hustling putting together orders and getting people the things they need at the door. THANK YOU for all your hard work.

Well, I was not too sure what happened, the front desk was quite stiff and robot like. Not matching my usual wonderful homehardware experience

No returns! For a small package of screws worth 5 dollars! And that happed only one day after I bought them. The owner came out and claimed with a dismissive tone that I used them, but they are new. Thank God I didn't buy that coffee machine they have for $169 LOL. This is a big problem! It is better to buy from a big company they give you refund and guarantees.
