Way over priced, admin was very rude and curt, service call fee not added to labour charge

John was got rid of my tree roots quickly and efficiently.
He was also a very nice man.

Replaced our water softener and added a filtration system, serviced hot water tank, added a pressure gauge, replaced water main shut off, assessed and replaced all plumbing shut off valves. Replaced washing machine hose. They assessed and took care of all drains before they could become problems.

I've used Harris a few times now and each time the plumber who showed up was knowledgeable, quick and explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it. Will definitely use again.

Right from my initial call to book an estimate Felicity was very helpful, she set N appointment for technician Terry to come out the very next day. Terry was on time, polite and took the time to answer all my questions. Very professional service. Keep up the great work,

Issue was a water leak. Was told on the phone that the assessment would be $99 plumber came by he cut three holes in the drywall was at my place for about 1 hour he than gave me an estimate of $1600 to fix the area or just over $5000 to take out all copper piping. Just before he left I had to pay almost $300 for his assessment. The plumber did not even do a tempary fix for the $300. I called another professional plumber who came at no charge and fixed the issue for far less.

I had what I call an emergency situation regarding blocked drainage on request I received the earliest appointment, less than 24 hrs the technician arrived early did a great job described his repair process and cleared the blockage.
I would highly recommend this company and in particular Jeff Marlin for his/there work.

My kitchen sink decided to not drain anymore! Phoned Harris Plumbing and had a plumber show up within 3 hours! Got all my drain pipes cleaned out within 2 hours!
My kitchen drain pipes have quite a few bends and no air vents so they have to be cleaned out through a basement ceiling vent. John was thoroughly professional and did an amazing job without leaving any mess behind on my basement cork flooring. Cannot compliment this company enough. I would definitely recommend them.

I was unfortunate to call Harris Plumbing for a regular water leak from Upper bath Tub to downstairs. They charged me $674 for a may be a 2 hour regular plumbing job in Orillia on October 25,2022. I feel I am ripped off by Harris Plumbing. Price gouging to an unimaginable level.

We have used Harris for years & while we have found them somewhat pricey at times.we continue to use them bc they are reliable, professional & offer quick service. This year we met their plumber Lucas, who was wonderful. He was smart, friendly & offered solutions to our issues. We have an older cottage & system & he was the best, so much so, that we need more work done & have specifically requested Lucas to do the job. He is high energy & works swiftly to help keep the costs down. Highly recommend Harris plumbing for your all your plumbing needs - the team is excellent!

Their Employee arrived shortly after the scheduled time of noon to 2: 00 pm. We reviewed the existing kitchen faucet that had leaked and the water lines to it were turned off. He noticed the person putting on the existing faucet put a plate on the counter which did not require it to be used due to the design. He advised part way through the faucet had been leaking for a while as the threads were rusted which he required a sawzall to remove it. It took little time to complete the task.
We then looked at a toilet that continually fills up the tank as the water seems to go down frequently. He advised the water level was too high which he adjusted.
The pot filler faucet above the stove continually drips. He advised to contact Delta customer service as it appears to be one unit.
We then discussed our existing main bathroom which we are planning to renovate this fall. I advised I wanted the oversized jet tub be removed (was installed prior to us purchasing the house), and the toilet moved about a foot to facilitate a larger vanity. He advised they will do all the plumbing and a contractor (who we have used for years) will do other renovation; drywall, vanity etc.
Ryan was professional, polite, listened to me before responding and did it layman language. Very happy with the service and will use them for the bathroom renovation this fall.

Very poor customer services. The plumbers great. The people in the office on the other hand have some real issues that need to be worked on extremely poor communications on their hand.one girl in particular shouldn’t be in customer service and that’s Ashley she’s extremely rude and a loss cannon/ very disrespectful. Very rude - not a people person.

We were unsuccessful on many attempts of having a plumber to return our calls. For those that said they would show up, they did not. From the first interaction of requesting service via the online form of the website to the follow up call after the service was performed the entire process was fantastic. The plumbers were very knowledgeable. We are fortunate to have found Harris Plumbing.

I left very unhappy with their customer service. They charged us outrageous $246 for about half an hour of work to unclog drain. I didn’t know the price would be that high when a technician came and started doing the work. I wish they had told me their pricing prior to staring work.

Wonderful local business! We had a plumbing emergency back in the fall and they were quick to have a plumber to our home that same day who was able to promptly get the issue resolved. Highly reccomend to anyone needing a plumber!

Easy to book, prompt service, great communication via text/email/phone leading up to the appointment, friendly knowledgeable plumber who was able to clear our clogged pipe in under 2 hours. If we ever need plumbing services again, we'll be a return customer.

Dealing with numerous trades has been disappointing and frustrating for us but Harris and particularly Roy, has been proof that there are still some companies around that care and give wonderful service. We tried several times to find a plumber that would (a) answer our call and (b) fix our problem. With Harris Plumbing, we hit the jackpot. Staff are professional. We were able to book an appointment for service on our first call.
The service call was pretty simple. Assess the situation and tell me what's needed. That's exactly what I got.
Service person was professional and knowledgeable.
A minor issue was fixed. The major issue needed a part ordered. I received an estimate that was pretty much what I thought it would be.

Exceptional service from the time I contacted Harris Plumbing to the end of the repair. Mike was extremely helpful, professional, and the quality of work is fantastic. Harris plumbing installed both our hot water tank and new pressure tank for our well pump. I will definitely use their services again! They were on time, very proficient and had good communication. They are expensive but you get what you pay for usually. Maybe they should have their employees have a uniform or some sort of dress and deportment standard. The plumber who attended my place was dressed very sloppy and didn't smell very pleasant. He got the job done in 20 min and knew what he was doing. Seemed like a nice guy. The bill was around $270 for 20 min of work changing a cartridge in the shower.

I would use them again however next time I may look around a little more first for a better value for a simple job.

The workers arrived right on time, and completed the job in a timely manner. They were very courteous, professional and clear in their explanations. During these Covid restrictions, they were able to complete the work in a socially-distanced fashion. The office followed up with a phone call immediately after the work was done, just to make sure we were happy, which we absolutely were. Would hire again!

I had a small amount of leakage around the interior shut-off valve in my basement that controls my backyard faucet. I called Harris on Monday and they set up an appointment for Thursday. (It was not an emergency. When the valve was closed, it did not drip.). The repair person showed up that day well before the scheduled time, talked me through the situation, suggested a couple of options, and replaced the valve in less than 45 minutes. I was very impressed and satisfied.

Had a sump pump drainage problem. Harris came in and analyzed it.
Great problem solving skills! Shortly thereafter, torrential downpour.
Problem totally solved with minimum mess. Very professional.

This company came and freed up some stopped sink pipes. I paid for their homes protection plan’ and they were to come and do a check of my plumbing and even after several calls and assurance that they would be coming to arrange said inspection, I never saw them again.to this date. I gave them 100$ to do nothing. Will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

Oh my god! Tired of them! Worst service ever. No follow up by their company no emergency appointments. After appointments no proper work. After so many hours of waiting person from the company comes and then said ohh you need this thing or that thing and need to get the appointment again n blah blah blah! Never recommend harris plumbing to anybody! And the last person who came to check had very rude attitude.after he was gone we decided not to wait anymore when They are behaving with this attitude. They took like 3 week just to look whats the problem in the faucet or what so ever. And even after that no results from their side! Finally we went to another plumbing company and done with the work in 2 days.worst experience ever

Had an emergency, and within a couple of hours, they were here to fix my water leak problem. This person was so pleasant and professional. I will definitely call Harris Plumbing again. I do have a few jobs on my list.

I have never written a negative review about a company before, but I have never experienced the type of service that I have with Harris Plumbing. If this review prevents even one person from the headaches that I experienced with this company then it did it’s job.
I called Harris plumbing because I was fooled by the positive reviews that some people posted (and I didn’t read the negative ones which was a big mistake on my part). I needed my leaking shower spout fixed. They were scheduled to arrive on Wednesday but called 30 minutes prior to my appointment time to tell me that they were not going to be there. Instead they told me that they would come the next day. They showed up and replaced the tub spout but this didn’t solve the problem. They took the cartridge out and cleaned it but that made the leak worse. They told me that they would have to replace the cartridge but did not have one in stock and that they would contact their supplier and get back to me. They charged me $230 which I paid in full. I gave them four days before I called to find out the status of their search. They claim that their supplier did not have the part but that they were contacting another supplier and that they would call me back. Several days later I had to once again call them to inquire about the status of my repair. They could not give me an update but said they would call me back. Once again I received no call to update me about my repair. I called back several times over the course of over TWO WEEKS without a single update or courtesy call on their end before they finally told me that they would not be able to find the part but could fix the shower by replacing the valve for $680. When I asked why it took so long to let me know and why nobody could be bothered to call me back the person on the other end was incredibly rude to me and hung up on me.
I called Mr Rooter that day and they showed up the next day. He installed the part (which was a UNIVERSAL cartridge readily available by all suppliers) in 30 minutes.
Please do not be fooled by the positive reviews or by the defense that I’m sure this company will reply with. Call someone else. Mr Rooter is a great option

With Harris Plumbing, someone always answers the phones, is able to give you a time (2-hour window) and calls in advance on the day of service to re-confirm. We donate our cottage to cancer survivors through Cottage Dreams. Early in the week of their visit the water pump quit and they were without water. Harris Plumbing responded quickly to our problem and had someone out there the next day to replace the pump. Spencer, who attended to the problem, received a very complementary review. I met Spencer the following week when he returned to the cottage and cannot say enough about him. Worked promptly and was extremely polite and helpful in answering questions that I had. I will use Harris Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs and would highly recommend then to fellow cottagers in our area.

After a search of plumbers in our area we chose Harris Plumbing Inc. It was, to us a simple job which we thought we could handle. We were proved wrong as the fittings to be removed were old and corroded. We were very pleased with the patience and determination of the plumber who removed the old kitchen faucet replacing it with the new. He left the area spotless taking away old faucet, was open to questions during his stay. Tyler not only made sure the visit was confirmed but called us later to see if all was well with the job.
